  • The 2022 Nutmeg color wasn't the color I thought it would be, however, still beautiful. Sharing the dutch oven in Nutmeg (5.25 quart), Le Creuset Demi Teakettle (nutmeg), and Le Creuset Ganache soup pot. Comparing the new color Ganache, Nutmeg and Ayesha Curry's brown Dutch oven. Links below. Thanks for watching. Blessings....

Thanks for doing this color comparison - you really saved me some money!
I just purchased your 2.5 quart in Ganache, and was debating ordering the Nutmeg dutch oven while it's on sale.
I have a Meringue color 3.5 quart Le Creuset braiser that I love. The Ganache definitely will be a better color with my Meringue! I will also get the copper knobs to go with other copper in my kitchen.

You can check in there outlet. They always have great deals I have 6 different pieces from Le Creuset and I found the Craft series utensil set at the outlet for $35.

Thank you. I called several outlet stores in my state looking for the ganache color because unfortunately it's being discontinued already. None of the stores I called have the color. Thanks much for sharing. Blessings...

Hey this line is waaayyy too expensive for collards greens lol. Nice. The trap pot favors the Dutch oven but maybe it’s the lighting for me. I thought You just purchased these but I see it’s much darker. Enjoy I bet your hubby doesn’t know lol thanks for sharing

Lol, too expensive for greens. I kid you not, the shape, texture of the leaves cooked in a dutch oven compared to my slow cooker is so much brighter and retains it's shape. True, you can find cheaper versions (I have had several) but these pieces become heirloom, passed down and yes they perform so much better. Lifetime warranty, made in France and comes in many different colors. No, my husband don't know, lol. He'll find out in several months, lol. I returned that grey looking pot along with the teakettle. But i'll never return my brown ones. As a matter of fact, today I pick up the brown deep saute pan. Can't wait to fry chicken it it, lol.Lord willing, I will eventually get all the pieces in the new Ganache color as it goes on sale. Be on the lookout for close out deals as you can get some colors dirt cheap and at Marshalls/Home goods. Blessings...

Yes Gina, these pieces can be quite pricy (get on sale or closeout) but they are wroth it compared to the cheaper brands. Life time guarantee, made in France (not china) and many cooks use their same pieces from decades ago. Blessings...

And yes, the pieces have weight but for me it's managable but heavier than non stick. Blessings....
