I have a brown 2qt! (Pre-ganache) and I love the color. It really grew on me even though it’s not as flashy
That was a short run! Brown is a tricky color to market in the cookware industry, so I understand why it's not selling as well. Typically people gravitate towards colors that are the opposite/complementary of food they cook, which is why blue and red are always going to be popular as cookware colors.

I am with you Heather, while it was not my personal fav; I don't think they gave it enough time. Hopefully those who started to collect this color will be able to grab a couple of pieces on sale!
`This color is beautiful! So sad it is already discontinued as I have been waiting several years for a brown color. Brown is my fav color but despite that I have this notion that food cooked in certain colors of pots/pans/bakers just won't taste right, lol. I can’t imagine cooking a pot of greens in pink! Though this color is gorgeous, I don't have those mental issues with ganache. I can cook in this color every day of the year and rest assured because the color is so pretty the food is going to taste that much better, lol. When I learned of the 20% sale, only on this color, I rushed and placed an order for the deep sautee pan and picked it up last Friday from Williams/Sonoma. There, I inquired if ganache was being discontinued and was told that the color didn't do well but it wasn't being discontinued. But like you, however, I saw the instagram post over the weekend that it was being discontinued and now my dream has become a nightmare. I called several outlet stores in my state and none of them have ganache so I will be picking up the other pieces I don’t have yet from Williams/Sonoma. I'm shocked this color didn't fare better. It's a gorgeous neutral! I think it is going to be a lot of regret when this color becomes hard to find and expensive after the fact. I can never go wrong with brown. You know I thought about you when I saw the Instagram with the information that Ganache was discontinued. It is a lovely color, but I don't think they gave it enough time to settle in like all the others. I do agree that the cost of this color is going to go up due to it being discontinued early...the hubster said I should pick up one piece as this color may become a collectible, lol. I think I just might do that. Thank you for the compliment. I purchase my head wraps from Famn djamn.com they have so many wonderful scarves to choose from! Happy Cooking!

It was a seasonal color, not part of the main collection.
Well, I think it's shocking ! Just shocking!! Ganache just got here and now it's going away? We hardly got to know dear Ganache. 😔. Not my color, but nevertheless lovely. Ganache had potential. Rhone is gorgeous and elegant. If I had a different lifestyle I would go Rhone for dinner parties !
Also, have you heard about the new LC Iridescent Knobs ? I'm not a knob type person. Can't help but wonder what LC is up to ! Hope they do a pretty green shade for you. So many wonderful LC things are offered outside the US. We should explore that one day.

Happy Dr. King Day to you as well Candy! I had not heard about the iridescent knobs but I looked them up and they are so fun and gorgeous!! I might get one for the blue colors that I have, that would really be a conversation starter! Might have to chat about that with you all...thank you for the heads up! Yes, I agree. I might have to start looking outside the U.S to see what they have and and report back. I have heard that some prices are different as well. I don't think they gave ganache enough time to really catch on, but hopefully green is up next!
My closest Williams Sonoma never had Ganache on display so I’ve never seen it in person. It does look pretty online but I think it will look random with the rest of my collection. If it goes on further discount I may consider it.
This is my thinking as well, it just would not fit in well with all the other colors that I have oddly enough....but if the price cut was deeper I will be right there at the store with you!!! LOL
