This was great! Hopefully it's Part 1 of a "Throw Like Lucky" form series.

I feel like I knew those tips, but the way you explained them really helped me understand how to incorporate them into my practice rounds. Another great video!

This was a very helpful video. I out these into practice today and had some really nice throws. Concentrating on proper form really makes a difference.

These are great tips. I can't wait for my next round or field session to try to put them into practice.
As a relatively new player who's pushing 60 years young, I find FPO techniques, discs and ideas are very beneficial for my game.

I love these three, watching you and Niklas Antilla throw, especially with his "rocking the baby" incorporates the first two tips for sure! Not only have I gotten more power and distance from these, but also more predictable release angles and direction

These are 3 great tips! You and I have the same arm speed, but you throw farther, with more spin and less wobble, per your Tech Disc video last month. So you are doing a lot very well for your arm speed. I've been given those tips recently and I'm trying to work on them myself. Good luck to you and Bradley this weekend!

Awesome tips !! This first one has already improved my game with accuracy and constantancy. I used to think of it like a whip coming out of my hands but that was causing me to round my throws. This elbow up and out square seems to be a big improvement

All good points! Tip 1) deals with the most common issue I think. The elbow getting left behind "inside" the shoulder in the classic arm-across chest "hugging yourself" position is something everyone struggles with at some point and is the #1 cause of rounding. Basically the upper arm and the lower arm need to finish the swing at roughly the same point to really "whip" at the end, another way to think of it is that the arm needs to hit full extension at the apex of the swing but not before. If the elbow is left behind that means the upper arm has too far to travel to make it on time which causes the lower arm to extend too early to "help" out and the finish becomes rounded. I'm sure I'm not the only one who messed around with homemade nunchuks as a teenager and gave myself a few bruises in the process but it did help illustrate quite vividly how 2 connected "levers" need to match their timing and how weak and anemic it feels when they dont. The next step could be to consider the distance from your spine to your shoulder a 3rd "lever" stepping up the comparsison from nunchuks to a 3-piece staff and if we really want to hyperfocus we can look at the wrist-fingertips as a 4th lever and then on the disc we have rim-center as a possible 5th. Enough rambling... personally I really like low power approach throws from a "forward pocket" with the disc next to the front shoulder to "overcorrect" for this in practice because you can do hundreds of throws like that without fatigue sabotaging the form.

I have heard dozens of “better” explanations of what the power pocket is. You nailed it! Shoulder and elbow as far as possible! That needs to be THE tip for new players

Thank you for the helpful advice Likke ! I've noticed that Nicklas Antila makes a point of holding his elbow well out from his body and it certainly works for him 😉 😀 good luck at music city !!

Mange gode tips her Lykke! Jeg har sett en del seabass, loopghost osv, men disse har jeg ikke kommet over. Liker tanken på det å lage plass for discen.
    Skal prøves!

I've really been enjoying your practice rounds but if filming them negatively effects your practice i could see why you wouldn't want to do them.
