One thing to consider is... If you've finished the combat patrol, might as well play some combat patrol mode to learn the game while assembling the next 500 points to 1000
As I have just started to play my Death Guard in 10th edition and just had one game in 9th this was pretty helpful to get some insight what combinations work well (rapid ingress on DST and these things). Really informative, keep it up!
Love the content lads. I’ve been playing a 1000 point Crusade list and it’s been doing great! LoV with a brick of 6 DST… save cp for overwatch and watch units fall before their onslaught
I needed this video! Today i played my first ever 40k game with DG. We played combat patrols and Typhus killed a tank and a space marine psycker. Was good fun. My plague marines abused those primaris. 😄
9:20 Can someone explain, how can Typhus lower the enemy's WS with 1 and also use the -1 from the faction ability. The rules state that you can't modify hit roll more than -1.

Typhus modifies the melee hit roll -1. The detachment modifies their weapon skill -1. Those are different
Would you make any changes to your tool box list after the June '24 balance update?

as a first unit , like the surgeon or tallyman instead of a plague marine set for a first figure , which would you recommend for getting started
Out of those 2 I'd get a tallyman. But honestly get whatever is coolest/most appealing to you mate.
