I agree, Adam has inspired most of the travel and disney vloggers, and they're great, but it's because Adam is helping what he believes in, and that's not a company, it's Adam's heart. Congratulations on this milestone with this episode Adam.
As a kid I spent a summer with family in North Dakota. At first I felt out of place. A kid from the suburbs spending the summer on a farm. I ended up really enjoying it. Good food, nice people, low population and no rushing around.
@@bigscarysteve My husband's great-great grandmother and father on his mother's side were Blackfoot. Deadly enemies of the Sioux Nation. They would kill and wouldn't count coup to show bravery as the Sioux Nation did. His great-grandfather married an Irishman or Scotsman, we get mixed up of where the 2 fit in.
I drove our brand new Oldsmobile to Deadwood. While we were in a shop, golf ball size hail started. I ran out to the car, threw a sleeping bag on the roof, and other stuff on the hood and trunk. For the next ten years we had the Olds, it had pock marks like a golf ball. These dimples provided better MPG, just like dimpled golf balls fly farther.
Adam, thank you for this really interesting video. Brings back wonderful memories of when we toured the USA for my 70th birthday several years ago. The town of Deadwood was one of the many areas in SD we visited plus Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse. A truly beautiful and inspiring area. Now in my eighties, I would love to do all over again but due to health issues no longer possible. Many thanks from David in the UK.
Fantastic to see all the tourist towns opening up after the pandemic. America is such a beautiful country, I need to visit again soon! 🇺🇸 Great work Adam!
Just finished a week vacation here . Just have to say wow😮. The people here are just amazing. Live in Casper Wyoming. So happy to have them as a Neighbor ❤.
29:45 congratulations on your lower 48 achievement! That is awesome. Following your adventures for almost 10 years, it is so great to see all of the places I haven’t been yet. Safe travels!!
No wonder you travel, who would give this up for a crappy everyday job, i know people say i would love to see this, but i really would Adam, honestly i enjoyed every part of this vlog, congratulations for doing all the states, looking forward for tomorrow, Thankyou
Kevin, to see just half of this would be great, i would love to have just a travel partner to see and enjoy this beautiful country, I've been out west and down south, so i need to make some ground... i hope you get to go and see all there is to see..
Thank you for the great video, I was born in South Dakota on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation. I moved away when I was a young girl and really enjoyed this. Enjoy and be safe on your travels. You're doing an awesome job.
I especially loved this one today! For you see, my daughter & family recently moved to Sturgis & I went to visit them there & we also spent some very enjoyable time in Deadwood! Such a beautiful part of our great country! 😊
Adam; for more "Wild Bill" Hickock history, you need to visit St. Joseph, MO where there is a lot of wild west history in the surrounding areas. In terms of "Wild Bill", you would need to visit the Patee House Museum and the Pony Express Stables as "Wild Bill" got his start as he was one of the first riders of the Pony Express. In addition, you can visit the home where Jesse James was murdered as it sits right by the Patee House Museum which was the headquarters of the Pony Express. St. Joseph was also one of the starting spots for the Lewis and Clark Expodition along with the Oregon Trail. Then about 30 minutes from St. Joseph is Kearney, MO where the Jesse James Ranch is which is where he was born. Oh and I can't forget to add that a movie wad filmed in St. Joseph and buildings used are still standing. The movie in question is called Paper Moon which starred Ryan O'Neil and his young daughter Tatum O'Neil.
I worked in casinos in Deadwood when gambling was new in 1990. Some of the best days of my life. Still have an Airbnb house that I just cleaned today, Deadwood is a tourist town, but one of the best!
Adam, you need to come back through South Dakota, you would LOVE Custer State Park (the bison herds are amazing to drive through there!!) and The Needles. Sooooooo much to see and do here, a few series in this state alone. And congrats on 48!! WOO!! ;)
Wild bill is in my family tree my name is Isaac by the way, thank you for exploring deadwood and all its glory! Wild bill is remembered and loved in my family it’s a long story I’d have to look back on it but I believe he’s a great great uncle
I am loving you out on the road Adam, I love your road trips, finding the quirky out of the way places. And that was nice of the people at the Prairie Emporium to give you a shirt, that place looks like it has a lot of great things. I was surprised to see the Full Throttle Saloon back, especially after the arson from years ago, can't wait for the rest of the trip Adam and congrats on hitting all lower 48, next the last two and all the territories 😁
Hi Adam: Here I am again watching your amazing videos! You're one of the most inspirational UA-camrs to me. I've always wanted to visit North and South Dakota, especially the National Parks there.
@@TheDailyWoo you're welcome! I've been following your road trip for the past 2 months and I have a feeling you're gonna post your next video in the next hour or so! ;)
We are enjoying all of this…you are our after dinner relaxing TV! This episode made us reminisce about our trip to Tombstone AZ in 2018. We had to stop this episode several times to look up info on Wild Bill, Calamity Jane, bodega, and Mount Moriah cemetery. Thank you! ❤️
Yay! It’s Adam! 🥳 What a superb accomplishment to have visited all 48 contiguous United States!🫡 🇺🇸 I am impressed! You should be proud! Now, off to Alaska and Hawaii and we shall be along for the ride! 😉 You have inspired me to travel more of the US!🧔🏻♂️ 🚙 ✈️ 🚴🚶🏽♀️
That was awesome Adam. You seem to be able in short fashion to capture the cream on top for our viewing pleasure, you are a true professional my friend.
I’m hitting the road at the end of the week my friend I can’t wait. Love your videos. Your seeing a lot of cool places. Love this channel for years now. Thank you Adam my friend. 👍👍❤️
Back in the day with the folx, every time we would go through Deadwood and the surrounding areas there were always a million bikers. Seems not a lot has changed in 30 plus years. And you jogged my memory. As a kid about ten or so, I remember being right there at Wild Bill and Calamity Jane's burial spot. Of course it didn't have that huge headstone/bust then, but I do recall the fencing. I didn't know much about Wild Bill, but I knew of Calamity Jane through that old Doris Day musical film my mom always watched on TV when it would come on. Awesome video. Thanx for the memories and look forward to the next one. Take care.
How cool you went to Deadwood.. I watched that show a couple times so getting to see it now is crazy. Looks very nice up there! Even made it to North Dakota! Wow. Enjoying this road trip series. I love the west. ☺️
Adam this is so awesome. Thank you for sharing.. I love the muffler man and the buffalos. You do some amazing videos. I love all the stores you visit. Stay safe. Stay well. Stay blessed. Much Love to you

I remember being in middle school and I'd always go to my uncles house and he'd let me watch Deadwood with him!! It was so awesome. I cried when that show ended the way it did.
