Rave on, Thommy! Whether or not I'm familiar with the info, I love hearing you discuss any and all things EC.
The Ghoulunatic photos are a wonderful footnote in comic book history. I wasn't aware of the Rogofski 'reprints, though it _does_ sound like the kind of thing he would have done. (I recall a fanzine from the 70s in which he was satirized as Howard Rip-offski.)
Thanks!
Howard "Tape Is Not A Defect" Rogofsky 😉
As always, great information Thommy. I would love to hear you talk about the Crime and Shock Illustrated magazines.
One of the best pieces of EC ephemera. Do we know the total quantity produced of each photo?
Kast remembered it being 10,000
Once Again!! Awesome stuff Thommy!
Great... Something else I have to have now... ;)
TY Sir, for all the great info! Could you create a video that compares EC originals to the Annuals ? (Book/panel size-covers/color variations etc...)Also, like “Blind Alleys” missing GE sig. & diff host, could you comment on “Touch& Go” in the original & the OA having JC sig. whited out & “adapted from a RB story” missing? TY in advance.
Very cool.
One day I will get those pictures. 😀👍
I know this may not be the place for it, but I have a question. Which story has one of the Ghoulunatics trying to wrap up a story only to say something equating to “oh forget it”? I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while
I also this vague memory of a person fooling their wife or husband somehow and killing them before they enter a cab. I wish my memory wasn’t so crap lol
Not sure exactly, but there is a story ("Two-Timed" in VOH 36) where the Old Witch says "Don't ask me! YOU figure it out!"
Thanks for this great and very informative video. I have a set of reprints which may be digital prints - I can't recall when I bought them. Could they have come from Russ Cochran?
Russ never issued reprints of these. They were reproduced as a page in his Haunt of Fear Library set, but if you have digital prints I imagine they're fan-made and not a mass produced repro...?
@@ecfan-addict9477 Thanks. I'd really love to own an original set - if I could afford it :) The Squa Tront article is very interesting. Thanks for all your great EC videos.
