I've been following your channel since your first New Zealand trips years ago. Although I think you have so many great videos, this has been my favorite so far. It definitely felt like breeze of fresh air in a platform full of fast paced content. The music, the photos and the simplicity were incredible Sam.
I've been watching more and more UA-cam on the TV now, opposed to the computer.. Just been treating it like shows, or films.. Obviously having no ads helps but, your video was really smooth. I watched the whole thing. And I was digging the photos but, I think what really jumped out at me was the footage. And the grade on it. You really dialed it in, as it all fit the mood and experience of your trip. Love the look this piece had. Congrats bruh, and thanks for sharing !
Shot at 3:51 - the horses... incredible. feels like something from an Ari Aster movie. I've been a bit fan of your content for awhile, but the cinematography recently is on another level.

Amazing video, sooooo calm, soothing, loved the images but mostly the whole chill vibe!. I love my 7II but I havent been able to take it to a nice place like the Tetons.
Easily one of the best Mamiya 7ii videos out there, primarily because you have such a beautiful eye :) Kudos. Quick question: I noticed you listed the lens and focal length on the last few stills. Did you use the 65 mm F4 throughout? I am thinking, particularly of those early portrait shots out on the lake you took early on in the video? If not, what lens and focal length did you shoot those?
Epic as always. Long time sub and always a fan when you bust out the Mamiya. The hike in CO I’m almost certain I’ve been there. Loved that about CO. there’s time where I would go a day or two and not see anyone else.
@@SamuelElkinsPhoto yeah I loved Buena Viata and surrounding area. When I lived there went on a 10 mile hike saw one person. Then dispersed camped all by myself. It was magical.

Had a few smaller trips turn into a larger one. I had been to a few of the areas we wanted to check out before, but lots of places I had marked on google maps, forest roads etc.

I agree, videos like these are amazing to watch on a big television. But the ads just ruins the flow of the video, specially the mid role ads.
