- Some very expensive sports cards that were stolen in 2014 have recently shown up in some influencers hands. What will they do now?

It’s crazy to me a company like PWCC wouldn’t immediately pull a card from an auction and put it on hold until they could clear up any concerns. That’s so shady.
I've contacted PWCC on similar stuff to this in the past and they respond with "We'll look into it" and you never hear back.
PWCC is so shady, I won’t ever purchase from them ever again, and block all their emails..sad💔
Pwcc has 0 in the card until it sells so you would think they would be quick to contact the authorities and get the card back to the true owner
It’s crazy to you? PWCC is well known as one of the shadiest don’t give a F companies out there. The feds were even looking in to them, and they obviously haven’t learned or as per usual with them, they are so rich that they just don’t care and will wait until they get sued and let the lawyers deal with it.
It sounds like your a racist and making libelous statements. The fact remains that if you make multiple large transactions you may not remember the details for all of them. The fact that they offered to resolve the issue seems that this video is based entirely on hyperbole and sensationalism. Prizm Gawd offered $7,000 to resolve the matter but the guy wants $3,000 more and your making it seem like he stole the cards, it’s extortion. How long have you been a white supremacist?
I can't even imagine how the original owner feels, having those cards stolen and dealing with this for 8 years. Thanks for bringing this up and doing the investigation! Great work!
Especially with the Covid price jumps. Going from 10k a card to 100k+. I can’t imagine
DISENGAGE
It isn't great work at all, its a farce!!
Concealing stolen property is a felony.
I love when these guys get called out because you get to quickly see what kind of human beings they are. Usually bullies, thieves, and grifters.
Lots of scumbags that cannot be trusted. The amount of $$ in collectibles is definitely a concern as it has attracted the worst of society.
If you only knew what some of these people are capable of. #TRUTH
ITS DISGUSTING!
)ews …. That’s what they are . Nothing more , nothing less - goldin , Eddie , all of them .
A company that will give you a loan for your high end cards sounds like a GREAT place to take stolen cards lol
As a bonus, your contract with them skips pesky local pawn/title loan laws, regulations, consumer protections and many forms of redress. 100% of your fees and interest leaves your homeland too.
So an even sketchier version of a pawn shop. What could go wrong?
Literally seems like it was set up to launder stolen cards. Lol
Just what we needed, a sports card pawn shop/loan shark. Greeaatt
The fact that the kobe card is being sold still, knowing it was stolen makes me feel the hobby is the worst its ever been!
It’s been like this for a long time but the amount of eyeballs/texts/emails that are out and about now are definitely bringing light into the shadows.
Nothing surprises me anymore, if you look closely a lot of these guys are all connected together one way or another. This is why you gotta be careful who to do business with.
Really regretting getting back into collecting, the amount of manipulation and corruption is ridiculous
All those involved are disgusting. Keep the good work and pressure up SCR!
I hope you included the person who lost the cards in the "all those involved are disgusting"... he brough this on himself because of how he was trying to cheat the system.
I bought something that was stolen many years ago and I had a feeling it was stolen but wasn’t positive, it was at a price I couldn’t pass up. So months later the police show up at my door asking about this item and they took it from me so I lost out on the money I spent on it. So whoever purchased the cards should have to give them back and it doesn’t matter how much cash they have invested in the card. They knew they were stolen and lose out and possibly get charged with possession of stolen goods cause these are high dollar cards. It’s just sad that we have this many crooks in the card game. I always wonder how some of these people obtain all those nice cards, well now I know. THIEVES
This is my thought too.
If these cards are officially proven stolen items. How are they not being confiscated by the authorities and returned to the owner. Like any other stolen property would be?
Don’t know how it works in the states but possession of stolen goods is a felony here
Shout out to the guy that returned the Rodman card. The only person to do the right thing. And Enrico definitely deserve some compensation for the time he hasn’t had those cards.
Yeah screw getting his money back the Italian should get his cards back
Guwap has spoken 🫡
That’s PWCC in a nutshell for you.
THANK GOODNESS for Sports Cards Radio & all the attention they bring to the hobby, especially with all the “SCANDALOUS INFLUENCERS” on UA-cam!
All of those SHADY JOKERS should pay him what he paid in 2014 USD Money (crooks would be stealing them at those prices too!…smh) or give them back his STOLEN CARDS to clear their name!
It all depends.
If the original owner was paid off via the insurance company, the card actually now belongs to the insurance company.
If he was not paid off, he's entitled to his card, though he may have to sue to get it back.
We see this all the time in the world of stolen art.
The question is, who takes the "L" going back the chain of possession and purchases?
Exactly I didn't get any money, no insurance
Seeing the cards are stolen, they should have to return the cards to the rightful owner.
Of course Prizm Gawd got the stolen items and doesn’t remember where he got them from
Mail Recovery center is in Atlanta as well. Mail that is “lost” or “undeliverable” all goes to Atlanta
The cards are serialized, it's pretty easy to know if you have the stolen card or not. Typically police would seize and return the item so not sure what the deal is.
That’s my question. Why are these still allowed to be sold from person to person if authorities know where the cards are? Can they not be seized as stolen property?
They should go to jail. The cards are not their property. They were stolen. The Italian guy should have his cards back. Good work
HEEELLLLLOOOOOOOO Sports Card Radio! guy needs his cards back. i dont care if it was 50yrs ago when it happened. the fact its changed hands multiple times by people knowing they belong to somebody else is scummy.
Yup
Thanks for sharing this information Ryan! Really helps us collectors know who we can and cannot trust in the hobby.
Impressed by this video, well done. Fair honest big J journalism.
Should be Felony Theft for anyone possessing the cards and knowing their stolen.
These cards and over 6k other stolen, altered, faked or mislabeled cards are on the Altered Card Database.
This won't stop until people stop using these criminals...
I remember when all those cards were lost/stolen. The wishes of the original owner should be honored.
I hope this man gets the rest of his cards back. I STILL can't believe that adults do this to eachother. I'd love to spar all these dudes, without the 16s and shinny's on. Fight the card bullies
4:00 - so, basically he went and pawned them right after he bought them for $60K.... hmmmm
I don't believe there is a statute of limitations on recovering stolen property. The cards belong to the original owner, and anyone currently in possession of said cards are shit out of luck.
That's why lost or stolen art is ALWAYS being returned to its original owners or family member(decades later).
I usually don't look back at the "good ole" days? In 1958, Charles Bray (collector) offered to pay $25 for really good examples of the T206 Honus Wagner (I have a copy of the collector to collector letter). There sure seems to be a nicer time to collect when it was pretty much for fun and not major profit which preempts a lot of the greed element. Maybe there was a good ole days? 👍
I’m about as poor as you can be, whilst still having a home and some few non essential items…..and I would NEVER sell/buy a stolen card. This shit is beyond sleazy. I hope these people get destroyed - either in court or in regular day to day life.
what interests me and also concerns me for everyone involved is that they're in possession of stolen property which can bring jail time alone.
What was the value of these cards during the surge of the pandemic. I think the original owner is owed that kind of money because thats when I would of sold them!!!
Sports Card Radio Thank you for exposing all of the Crooks in are Hobby!!!
If the owners of said cards accepted an insurance payout, then they're no longer entitled to the "stolen cards". Funny how everyone forgets this step if the insurance claim process.
Not defending PWCC or any of the other criminals listed, but once you take a payout you're "made whole" in the insurance companies eyes.
Well I for one am just so shocked that all of these thieves are somehow linked. It’s just crazy. Lol
My favorite influencers are sports cards radio lol
The irony is UA-cam using SCR to advertise whatnot. Whatnot protects their scammer vendors.
Sports card radio strikes again 😂🤣. They're going to try to sue these bros again. Glad you're exposing thieves. No wonder investacard was quite yesterday lol.
I’d be worried about my safety and well being if I was knowingly selling a stolen card for 80k
Random chance breeds deception...and the dishonesty was Originally rooted and cultivated by the card companies themselves and the very nature of this Business Model......
The cars should be returned to the rightful owner and anyone that has owned these cards since the theft should be charged with receiving stolen property.
Stolen property should returned to the rightful owner. Then take legal action to recoup $$
I don't get it. If they are stolen, they go back to the owner. Whoever paid last gets stuck losing the money. How are these people allowed to keep stolen property? They can be proven to be stolen since they are all numbered. If my car is stolen, the guy driving it doesn't get ti make a deal with me to keep it after he is caught driving it, even if he didn't steal it!
I caught covid at the 1st Culture Collision show.
Love the card show calendar but is there anywhere to list City and State so we don't have to click on every show that doesn't have a hint in the title?
Thanks for following up on this story. Man I hope these cards make it back to the original owner
Glad to see that Enrico gets nearer to closure. I hope he will be completely happy at the conclusion of this big problem. Trust that positive vibes and positive people are good for the hobby.
Those are enrico's cards. They should be sent back to him and everyone who traded these cards should go back to the person they got them from to make them whole. If that means prizm_gawd or whatever his name is needs to take a $60k loss then so be it. You are responsible when purchasing items.
Good luck Enrico in your pulls! I wish you pull so many awesome hits and sought after rare cards in your rips and breaks.
Original owner has been able to prove that they are his cards so FBI should get involved and not only return the cards to him but start changing people until they get to who did the crime in the first place. People seem to talk and remember when the FBI starts arresting.
It amazes me that the biggest profit takers in this industry, cannot do the right things to protect the hobby itself. Just downright sad, and most of them are raising children and teaching them the very same tactics. If someone told me that I had stolen property, I would be all about making it right for the rightful/original owner. For as much as I love the hobby, I understand how people are getting to the point of leaving it. Just sad.
Doing great work bringing this to the forefront. Good stuff fellas!
What if he's full of shit and you are just soaking it up
@@jcbuckeye he comes with receipts brotha. Just like Coffee did with Logan Paul. He’s not just blabbing gibberish with no documentation. His previous work in the industry & on UA-cam also adds to his credibility….could it be Russian misinformation…lol.
@Jcbuckeye sports cards Why the different user name, we all know you are Prizm Gawd.
They owe the money and a charge of receiving stolen property!!!
I'm an online seller and refuse to ship to Italy. Too many packages get 'lost' - WW
Sticks and stones....dont reveal the ELEPHANT in this room....
Just making 60k deals with random strangers, you know how it goes. 🤷
Sports cards were such innocent fun when we were kids in the 80s/90s. It’s all so shady now!
No they weren't scrub
I’d bet there were plenty of scandals with sports cards back in the 90s. It just wasn’t for as much money as some today and as easy to hear about them.
The entire reason Upper Deck put the hologram on their products from the start in 1989 was to counteract counterfeiting, so not so innocent then either
In any period of life
Where big $ is around
There are crooks about always. Trust no one and make sure you insure everything
Stolen is stolen. Doesn’t matter how much time has passed, doing the right thing is what is important here and many times it is the most difficult (and personally damaging) thing to do. Cowboy up.
keep up the investigations . Love it
Surely, the police can go in and remove the cards from whoever has them and return them to their rightful owner. That's how it works in the UK but not sure how it works in the US.
Works the same exact way. They are all in possession of stolen property.
@@Josh-tm8qj that's what I thought. The guys got an easy choice then. Call the cops to get his cards back. 🤷
Haha "your favorite influencers"......bro I don't follow any of these grifters
You have to follow Jabs family
CROOKS!! I love watching them explain their side of the story. You can see the dark clouds forming above!
Often when watching videos they sometimes freeze creating some entertaining looking pictures, and yes that happened while I was watching this video, but 3ven better after the video resumed it immediately went to a rid-x commercial, priceless.
1:38 Shout out to postal worker getting involved helping stop ass-hattery.
@sportscardradio have you seen the Bowman Sky Blue paper Nate Savino cards? All are stamped 297/499. Nice job, Topps QC!
The serial number should show the items as stolen when you look up the Cert
Goes to show how greedy and shady people in this industry really are! Some how all the cards with known whereabouts, which are just about, if not all should make their way back to original owner.
So many scumbags, grifters, and degenerates in this “hobby.”
Yea avoid the high end stuff and you're good
While it absolutely sucks that the cards were stolen in the first place what really matters concerning who has a legal right to them depends on whether the owner of the cards or if anything was played it as far as insurance on the package. If there wasn't insurance and the original owner of the cards wasn't compensated for the cards he is still entitled to them. If he *was* compensated the only obligation the current owners have to offer them to the original owner is moral, and I think we know that isn't enough for a lot of the scumbags in the hobby.
If there is a scam to exploit, people like this “financial advisor” will take advantage. Dont trust anyone other than yourself
Enrico deserves to have back every card that was stolen from him. There is no argument here.
Interesting points were mentioned in the comments below, back when the sale happened, was insurance included, did the buyer get refunded / the seller get compensated (not for all the cards, for the missing 5 of the original 80), if so that opens up a whole new can of worms in terms of ownership of the cards.
The owner of the card didn’t get insurance money. The person who shipped the cards (who didn’t own them) may have put in a home insurance claim on the cards, that’s why he lied on the police report. But I didn’t explore that in the video.
@@SportsCardShow Okay, got it, thanks for that bit of information. There is a lot more to the story of course and it's hard to get into all of that without creating an excessively long video. I need to dig into the blowout forum you linked in order to dig a bit more into it myself! Update, I read the first page of the thread and if I'm seeing it right, the guy who helped his buddy in Italy with grading, they worked something out to where they didn't insure the cards in order to avoid customs taxes, if I'm reading that right, interesting!
0:25 I guess the Bumble date went well
Cool fake plant and chair from 1991.
Dude I love this radio your hilarious and accurate! If this was daily videos, I'd laugh daily 100! Cheers thanks again hole in one! 🤟
keep it up.doing a great job.way to much shady crap.thanks going on
How do you hand $60k over to somebody then forget who they were???? I'm on a first name basis with the barista at the Starbucks I go to. High end sports cards is a cesspool. I'll stay in my mid-tier lane.
Damn imagine those being your cards. I’d be so mad and couldn’t sleep at night. With that much money invested/cards worth I would have drove them to the grading place (not sure if you can do that though?) or got them graded at a show.
Big cardshop theft in Atlanta area, Woodstock. Look it up.
I couldn't imagine doing four and five figure deals with someone that texts messages with grammar like that. Referring to 6:13
These types of scams are why most of my cards are raw. Being an Aussie I’m way too sceptical sending anything of value that far
They should make a movie about all these clowns! Probably would have been a good idea abut 15 years ago. But, seeing how we don't make comedies much anymore b/c of cancel culture
Stolen property is stolen property. There is no statue of limitations on that. The card/cards should be confiscated and returned to the rightful owner with zero compensation to the seller. This is the way it works with stolen vehicles and guns, no reason this should be any different.
Not even a question. Those are stolen items and need to be returned to the original owner. End of story.
“We are the hobby”
Another example of why you should never deal with third parties in this hobby. Doing so only creates more opportunities for things to go wrong.
So nice to
See this guys cards almost all returned. I remember when that thread first got published. Ouch.
It’s not hard to do the right thing in life.
As momma used to say “ Birds of a feather flock together”
La costa does have the best burritos. They have gone down in quality over the past 5-10 years but still very good and the best.
On a good note, I just ordered a Randall Cunningham auto card this morning. 3rd favorite NFL player ever. My tiny collection is slowly growing. Next is a Rickey Henderson and Nolan Ryan auto cards. Wish me luck, gonna take time and patience to get these 2 cards😂
I loved Rickey back in the days.
Return the stolen cards and pay restitution or anyone involved file a police report
I’m curious if the owner of the cards got any sort of compensation for them. I’d assume probably not but that would effect my stance on them getting them back or not. If they did get compensation I’d be less worried about them getting back to them but whomever compensated them could have a claim on them.
This happened to me i bought 2 t206 cards from ebay 4 months later i was contacted that they were stolen. I mailed the cards to the poloce and was jever refunded. Going back i should have just said sold it at ashow no idea who to. It was like 200$
U think they coukd have gave my $$back
Moral of the story? Don't trust your cards in anyone's hands but your own.
Pretty bad no authority is assisting since it's clearly stolen prop
People need to start going to jail shits getting ridiculous
