- I've tried to optimize the video sound - the original was quite flat and weak, now it has some punch and does more justice to the band's talent. I think we'll have very nice surprises in the future with Rei, Aya & Hinako (and let's not forget Yumi and Piroshiki)

I don't know what she's singing in Big Bad World, but Rei put a lot of emotion into it.
Rei's voice seems to get better all the time. I'm really liking these girls and what they're doing. Now if I can just make it to LA this January to see them live!

Late to the Brats party, but this is awesome. Vocals are great, and those guitars sound fantastic. New fan, and I know their newer song is apparently a bit divisive, but I love it and it led me here. I’ll go along for the ride.
I only discovered them last year after delving into LadyBaby. Better late than never my dude ☺️

This is really interesting. Brats live finally. Rei's voice never disappoints. It's as powerful as ever. Wow. And I expected to hear autotune, but no. Amazing live performance. The real thing.
Yes, that's why I spent some time to work on the audio, because I think the band deserves it. I was expecting real live performance too, for some time, so this concert was the answer: yes BRATS is a real band, playing live with no tricks. And yes Rei's voice is great.

Outstanding edit, audio is great now. Just popped up on my YT feed, unsure how I missed this for years. A bit torn that Rei isn't doing Brats now as grown to really like their music.

Hinako here was not ready for this kind of professionalism. Yumi clearly is a pro guitarist.
Hinako is just too young and not skilled enough for a world stage band. I hope she practices much, improves and has her own successful career post her split / forced exit from Brats. She seems like a nice kid.
Only two years ago and they seem like kids here or more recently Aya and Rei seem to be much more grown and even physically bigger. They have a bright future. Aya is skilled and Rei can sing as well as command a stage.

@@jeffd3219 Yes, I believe so. If you look at the guitar, it's the same as Yumi's in Ambitious Girls.
Though not sure, I believe Yumi played the lead parts when Hinako was in the band and we see her with longer hair in videos like Ms Downer Live.

Kei "Piroshiki" Tamura.
He has been with Brats since their 2018 recording. Neither Piroshiki nor Yumi get enough attention.
I get the marketing angle of the Kuromiya sisters by Monster East Records, but it is a mistake not to market them as a band.
Piroshini and Yumi make Brats happen as much as Aya's bass and Rei's vocals.
For their current songs, any skilled guitarist could play those lead runs and accents.
A guy named Ash Flame (Anglicized from Nihongo) more or less wrote all of the songs that I have checked. Rei has co-wrote some lyrics.
A Brats, Band-Maid, Bridear and LoveBites tour of the USA would be a smash. Too bad these bands are on different labels with different managements.

If I was a band there I'd hate it.... 15feet up and 30yads away from the crowd is terrible, no connection to the fans at all.
