I have just discovered this channel, I am very impressed. Great vibe, great editing music and of course the guitars and musical instruments. I watch a lot of music related shows on UA-cam, I really think you are on to something big. Seriously wowed.
The '68 Tele was definitely my favorite guitar at the show. I didn't play it because I didn't want to fall in love w it. My guitar collection is up to 17 and that seems a bit much for one guy. BTW, don't know if you remember the '74 Dove I got from you in Sarasota. I had a couple of tweaks done to it and it sounds and plays fantastic now. Love that guitar!
Love to check out the channel, I live vicariously through your adventures lol. I’m still looking for a 5 string Schecter California Jazz, limited production number, made only in 2006, when your on Guitar Safari if you find one, it will instantly sold. Thanks Ric
Show ain't a show without Flash Flood! It was great to see all the other dealers, they were so happy to see you, a real community. Alex, were you tempted to buy the telecaster with the Bigsby?
As a Hondo II and Firefly owner, I wasn't too keen on the cracks made at 5:22------The Big Boys have made a lot of dogs over the decades too----No Headstock Snobs! LOL!
If you guys are ever in the Cincinnati area come check out Mike's music, the music shoppe, and third rock music shop! Super rad shops and Mike's has some killer vintage stuff.
YES YES YES, wake up and flash flood of gear has a new video, thats it everything stops for the next 20 min people, dont bother me im watching my fav guitar channel.
The KFC biscuit is unfortunately neither free or endless so it is exempt however is does get my seal of approval!! We have a running bit about Olive Garden at the shop, I (Alex) think I’m the only one who actually likes it 😂
I was mainly referring to the USA stuff as it isn’t crazy expensive for what it is, but in the same sense their import lines as an incredible value within that price class!
I'm kind of angry. I would have gone to this show. It wasn't advertised. I've been a Vintage Guitar Dealer for over 30 years, "Lazy Boy Vintage". I've done every Florida show until I severely injured my back five years ago. I was at the Sarasota Show and now I missed this one. I can no longer do a booth but I still try to go for at least one day. Why aren't these shows being advertised? I met you at the Sarasota Show, you probably don't remember but I was driving a scooter and broke several pieces..
So sorry you didn’t hear about this one! I actually believe I do remember seeing you in Sarasota, you had a bunch of amps right? Thanks again for stopping by at that show!
Ya, that was me. My buddy was pulling my amps in a cart for me, I drove my scooter. I know it's not your fault but they really need to advertise these shows better. I have a pretty good following on Facebook and I always post Guitar Shows. I don't gig anymore because of my injury but I still have people follow me because I was a Dealer and my old band. I'd like to get the word out for Guitar Shows. The only one I know of coming up in the Orlando Show. I enjoy your videos, take care Alex.

@aflashfloodofgear mate your welcome 👌
Place here called the Cameo Cafe makes their own bread, called "Strong Bread" and it's great - you can even buy a loaf to take home!
Pierre from Kadinja/Novelists also has a sig model Vola, a tele style in both 6 and 7 string.
Love that Custom. I will be looking for that one on the website. Will it be up there soon?
@@ST-xg3gy Yes! You will see it there around Tuesday!
I couldn't make it Saturday so I showed up about 1pm on Sunday, some dealers were already gone and a couple were packing up
Bummer! Hope you still got to see some cool stuff!
Went to the Seattle area guitar show on the 17th. 140 vendors and about 150 paid entrants...
@@707Berto That doesn’t sound like a great ratio lol
That's a sad fact.
I live in Bradenton .. WHY WAS THIS NOT ADVERTISED?? I would have rolled in with 8-10 from my collection to make people drool ;)

I feel like you get more attention when you're not competing as a vendor haha
Outback's bread is unique and underrated for sure. Olive Garden breadstick obviously. Idk if this counts but KFC biscuit? Might be #1 if eligible.

What year was the sonic blue jazzmaster at 10:22??
did i see a turquoise trini lopez in the background at about the 12 minute mark?
I like Randy, not my style of collecting, but he is cool.
Is the Gibson v2,...the same as Judas priest used on the sentinel vid,so long ago??,,,, it was a small size V !!
Alex you said G&L is a great value. Does that stand for their Indonesian made Telecaster’s
I was mainly referring to the USA stuff as it isn’t crazy expensive for what it is, but in the same sense their import lines as an incredible value within that price class!
Awesome thanks so much. I have a seller near me who with a telecaster for $350 that was never used

My '63 Strat scoffs at your CBS era neck preference. I have a bunch of Strats and it has the best neck I've ever found. By far.
Very poor marketing, I had no idea that this event was even happening. Next time let a brother know! 😮
@@donaldbutcher1260 you'll have to talk to the show runners about that 😅
Wow. You were brilliant not to participate in this show! Very disappointing. It’s not loud because there’s no one there!
