Thanks for making the video great job good lighting. I just got my 2016 everything but the rest wheel steering. I've been looking at RR racing a lot and it is hard to find videos not about the V8 RCF. I'm going to start making some videos. Hopefully the community gets bigger and we can get more support!

Lol yea for sure 😅😅😅 I try to do right by her... but as far as the intake goes I like the takeda more because it doesn't require a tune to run it. Ultimately it's far more reliable this way
@@Americanoutcast_ my gas mileage got worse for sure but that could be due to how I drive it now with it sounding throaty. Would also like to know if/how often it needs to be washed and oiled

@@highrollinsocal same bro. I basically bought the pipe to dress up the engine bay a bit. I might have noticed slightly better throttle response at first...? 🤷♂️.
HI, is this C.a.r.b. compliant? I want to get it for my 2is but no idea if it will pass smog in so cal, have you had any issues when you smogged your car?
@@ajvilla7219 it's all in your driving style. My average mpgs used to be 14mpg 😬😬😬 lol I didn't notice any hp or mpg improvements. If anything at all, the car just sounded better
Yea bro, you will get codes if you don't get it tuned. Using this tube eliminates that extra hose coming from your engine that recycles gasses back into your intake tube. Those gasses are accounted for by your stock ecu, now that those gasses are gone, your ecu is all tripped out. Get the Takeda intake instead. Thats what I have currently
@@highrollinsocal I got the tune(with this intake) and still got the codes. Switched to F-sport intake and never look back(keeping the tune). No more codes after 3 fill ups. Car seems to love the F-sport intake instead of this intake. I know you already have the AFE Takeda. I think our cars don't like that valve cover being eliminated which the RR intake does.
It’s the direct injection system making the tick and lexus have a fix for it now due to all the complaints they now make a cover for it with sound insulating foam on the inside and it only costs $15! :) reduced the ticking sound on my is350 by at least 50%
Go to your local Lexus dealership and see the service department and there is 2 parts called cover sub-assy the part numbers are 12606-38010 and 12605-38010 and the both clip together over the fuel pump/direct injection system that makes the tick just under the intake tube (it’s a very tight fit but I managed to squeeze it together on without taking the intake pipe off) only cost $15 for the parts and they both arrived to Lexus from Japan after a few days now you can barely hear the tick
RR Racing melted my pistons on RC300awd for 300km only.I buy from them Supercharger kit with PPE headers and exhaust The car was 38000km from new.Soon will post video with problem. They can't make tuning, ony change advance (for bad) and stop DTC
Thanks for the video. It was actually really helpful

Right on bro, im glad you like the videos. Most definitely lmk when you post something, ill watch and support as well.
The “other opening” on the intake is only of F-Sport models, it is a sound generator. Basically gives the driver more sounds from the intake.
Thanks for clarifying. It actually does make a difference in terms of sound. Kind of odd tho right? It's open to suck in hot air from the engine

I used takeda cold air but you can't go wrong with R&R racing 💯 oh! And i found that gauge cluster panel i appreciate the help bro 🙏
Hey so do you still use the intake? If so is the gas efficiency better or worst? And do you have to wash and oil it?

Thanks bro. I got it 👍
Is this the one with the tundra throttle body or is it stock throttle body
@@calixxlivin it's a stock throttle body brotha
That opening is the sound resonator

Which mod you think is better for performance if i am going to tune
Rr racing intake tube with AFE drop in filter
Or
Takeda intake system
Takeda bro. 100% safer for your engine too. No pcv delete that needs bad tuning from rr

It's not carb compliant. It's a trash piece, it won't work unless you have a tune. Get the afe Takeda intake instead. No issues ever
