- After doing a few reviews on a larger product, a few viewers recommended I try the Bluetti Power Station, and when they reached out for me to try their product I thought sure. So I tried my best to test the capabilities of the AC200MAX product they sent to see how it might work for those in the RV/Nomad lifestyle. I hope you enjoy.
IMPORTANT!!!! The giveaway is over has the winner has been selected.

I got a message to DM you...I knew something smelled fishy!
Thanks for the Bluetti AC 200 review. I have enjoyed your videos! I just retired and working on a 28 foot 91 safari trek pathfinder to travel in. What would be the approximate cost to reroof with a solid roof with zero holes cut in it? Going all electric and full solar on top with a mini split for heating cooling
I figued.
A friend turned me on to your channel, and my wife and I have been learning a LOT! Thaks!
Thanks for the heads up! I did get a message to DM you thought it was odd
Pretty impressed with the Bluetti. But I have to say I’m more impressed with all the different scenarios you were able to come up with to test it out.
I was leaning towards a power station for dry camping. You pretty much sold me thanks for the info.
Amazing all that free energy falling from the sky.
God gave it to us free...It is the J who charges us..
@@jordanbey870 Who gave it to god ?
@@karelvandervelden8819 The democrats.
@@RadioRich100 I know americans claim to be the best nation in the world but since ¨der donald¨ they seem to stretch that further.
I’m a solar guy since 2017, installed 8.4kw, covers 95% of my needs so very happy. I just ordered an Anker Solix 2600 because it has larger but has wheels. I think Bluetti doesn’t have wheels, which when you have a bad back, you need wheels, so deal breaker for me. Yes, the sun produces free energy, but we can’t expect to capture it for free, but once we invest in some solar, storage, etc, we’re on our way.
Glad to find an RV channel from someone who actually works to earn a living. Most channels I've seen on youtube are youngsters who've retired from the working world and now make their living producing videos of their adventures. Our nation could use some more workers and producers.
Looks like a substitute for my Honda generator when camping at pastoral sites. Silence is golden!
Very good review of the Bluetti. You covered many of the real world uses of this product and I think you are spot on in saying that it's the future of RV setup for batteries/inverters
Thanks! I figured just sitting there blabbering on about it would be boring
Thank you for showing this to all of us. I camp a lot alone with my dogs and have been wanting info on how to figure this out. Am now not afraid to get something like this. Thank you so much ... Adel
You are a great lecturer! You are able to inform those of us who are not that knowledgeable! This video has conveyed more knowledge to me than any previous bluetti videos! Thank you James!!
This Bluetti would be more than enough for a small RV camper or van. So cool.
I got burned out, lost my homestead and tractors and homes in the mountains of California in 2020 wildfire. I am moving back to my property this Summer. This would help to make living easy for this granny…I enjoyed the video and am looking into these… thanks
Sorry to hear about your loss :( Glad you made it out ok
I appreciate the different scenarios you used in using the power station. I think with two more batteries it could be even more useful. The fact that it is portable makes it even better.
I love these solar generators. They’re quiet and can be powered from a solar panel or a 110 outlet. The number of items you plugged into this unit was phenomenal. Thank you for sharing!
It’s a battery
I always enjoy your videos because you look at things in a mechanical way. What’s going to break down in the future or what’s easier to replace for the normal person. Very helpful for somebody that wants to avoid issues down the road.
Thanks for the honest review of the Bluetti AC200MAX. It's very cool of you to give away such a pricey device to one of your subscribers.
I like that you explain things in simple terms. A lot of power station reviews are too technical.
You put a lot of work into this video and it shows. Excellent as always James.
Hi James. Thank you for the review of the Bluetti. I’m really pleased to see the difference a soft start makes on the AC. I think we’ll be getting that installed on our RV soon!
New Sub Here, I can appreciate all the effort to show us the Bluetti, so thank you. We have been looking at this unit for some time, but the cost is pretty high, not saying its not worth it!!! Love the content !!!
Your right its not worth it.
I am learning so much from you! Im a 43 year old woman with a 47 foot venom toy hauler and I do all my own maintenance. So far my experience has been amazing.! I even installed my own fifth wheel hitch!! Although some of these class a you are showing is making me rethink if I want to go class a and a couple of years! If I do, I’m coming to you guys! Also, you mentioned comic con I love going to them I’m a huge walking dead fan like huge
First season was best!
That power station seems like a great addition to my off grid camping.
Great info for the RV community! Just a heads up on “testing” current draw by running the microwave - put a cup of water in BEFORE turning it on as you can damage the klystron (microwave tube). New ones are pretty safe for a bit, but it wears them out prematurely! Thanks for what you provide to the community!😁😉
Was going to comment this too, this is how my dad broke our microwave. had to buy a new one that fits over the stove.
Hey I have learned a lot from you , another great video thanks.
You did an amazing job reviewing the Bluetti! As a family we have been looking into a more eco friendly way to camp using our camper with the kiddos. Getting to watch your use and opinion on the battery power/solar options is a huge help. We check your channel every evening to see if you have new content and how we can use for our own camper. Thank you again for all the work making and editing, you really are helping us RV people.
A lot of portable power station or solar generator to choose, I think you can find a suitable one for your trips.
We would love to win this bluetti ac200max power station and be able to review it on our channel :)
P.S. Thank you for the chance to win !!!!!
P.P.S. We also added you to our community page so more people can find your reviews !!!!!
P.P.P.S. THANK YOU AGAIN !!!!!
Awesome! Thanks for the add!
@@AZExpert No problem at all, We enjoy watching you videos :)
Just starting a box truck build and this is a unit I’ve been looking at. Thank you for this great review. New sub
Not only is this educational, but the delivery is tops.
Thank you
I can't believe you can just rewire an AC unit like that for the "slow ramp compressor" and then just undo it that quickly. It'd take me an entire day just to do that. Great video.
These power banks are almost there with their features. Appreciate the honest and thorough analysis
Thanks for watching! :)
Very nice that they have covers on the plugs.
Not my most fave thing
The phone display is really nice on this unit. I could see charging this, throwing it in the truck and taking it along for camping.
This would be a great generator for me. I'm starting to build a setup for home and travel, and this is versatile enough to do both. I ask that you consider me for your giveaway, as it would be used, loved, and highly appreciated over it's life. Thank you for the opportunity and the review.
Appreciate all the information that I have learned from your channel. I’m retired and living on a fixed income so winning this unit would be awesome! Thanks for offering it up to your viewers, and good luck to all!
I chanced upon your channel because of the off grid system and actually seeing the tests you did really helps with my research with eventually owning a portable or a more permanent set up. Thanks very much. And winning your raffle would be awesome! 😊
James, I am loving your video's - especially the roof repairs that make me cringe. I sure could use the Bluetti, when I am in Northern MN, with no power. Useing old, noisy gas generator, as needed. The Bluetti could get me some peace and quiet.
Thanks!!! keep on posting these repair videos, they are truly helpful.
Looks like a great system to go with my home and camping stuff. Good luck to everyone. And thanks for the chance
Being on a fixed income and living in an older trailer this would be an awesome thing to receive.
This is the first of yours videos I've watched. Thank you for the opportunity to receive the Bluetti. I look forward to enjoying more of your future videos.
Welcome aboard!
First timer. I'm considering an RV solar system, what I like with the Bluetti is its portable and affordable. That was a good review.
It's very kind of you to give this away. God bless you.
It would be silly of me to keep it! I have several now--let someone else use it
@@AZExpert Aww, well it's still very kind of you. There are a lot of people struggling. So this will be a blessing to someone who needs it. Thank you for all you do. I enjoy all the work you put into your videos to help others.
Wow!! 🎉keeping it charge is looking simple for someone not too tech savvy for Camping/tiny haus/RVing. Thank you, Bunches!! For sharing!!
You are the best RV tech on UA-cam. I research my RV issues against your library of videos. Anyone RVing should subscribe to your channel. Thank for you many videos and work to provide this content.
That thing is awesome. I can’t believe how small it is. Thank you for sharing.
I've been looking at Bluetti stuff for a while, thank you for this very "guy on the street" and easy to digest video.
James, you have a magical way about you. You're so thorough in your testing, analysing every angle. I was astounded when you installed the soft start, to see if it would cope. The way you explain everything is amazing, I normally switch off when I hear number of watts and volts, but I understood every word. The AC200MAX has now been upgraded to the AC200L, where the external battery charger has been built into the main body (now weighs an extra 0.6Llb) -they must have been listening to you! Anyway, many thanks from across the pond in England. Keep the videos coming :)
Sorry, I pressed the send button accidentally before I could finish my comment!!
But once again, thank you for the detailed review. My wife and I were very impressed, especially with you hooking up the AC, the normally used household appliances, and the charging features of this unit, showing everybody how it works under extreme loads, which I know was very helpful to all of the do-it-yourselfers living off-grid out there, in the same situation as we are, that have no power to there property or home for a All in One Solution. We have, (5) 390watt solar panels, No inverter, And that has been part of our quest!! And as do-it-yourselfer's, we have to make careful spending decisions because money is tight. We came across your channel, in our quest for portable inverter/battery/generator All in One option that we could use with our solar panels while we stay in our motorhome as we convert our soon to be delivered March 24, steel building into our home.
Thanks for watching! :)
As a widow, I have become very interested in finding alternative power sources, one being solar. I was so happy to have run across this video and appreciate your efforts in putting the Bluetti through different operating scenarios.
Smiling!
Would work great for backup power for my Ham Radio/Amateur Radio in a power down. Radio takes about 23 amps but is adjustable from 5 to 100 watts out.
I have been comparing all the different solar generators for weeks. Perfect timing.
After seeing the detail on how the bluetti operates I believe it's feasible are more reliable than most at this moment so I appreciate the video you gave thank you
A practical way to test it out the Bluetti. I don’t own an RV but it is nice to know. Thank you.
Thanks for the comprehensive test of the bluetti. Looking to add one of these to my small travel trailer as a plug and play solar system.
For a RV guy I appreciate your review. and I appreciate the chance to be in the drawing.
You're in!
Great review, James. I have already replicated a couple of your projects, reached out to True Topper after that review, and now this. My wife may not let me watch your channel anymore!
Keep up the great work, I'll just have to watch your videos under the covers.
I like that. The capability with that during a power outtage in monsoon season would be nice.
Pretty neat and useful all-in-one power device. Looks very appealing to me!
That looks extremely interesting for boondocking like we usually do. Thanks for the more indepth review
I would love to have this for our rv and I can use it for my off grid woodworking shop that has to be powered by a gas generator right now.
Thanks for the insights you always bring.
Stay safe
I made it over from the other place! I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge of RVs and creating interesting content. I don’t even have an RV and have probably watched every video you have posted
This thing could easily run my entire apartment. Really neat!
man you may not crunch the numbers but you sure do a fair and informative revue, well worth the watch, was great.
We love your content on tik tok and UA-cam. Great to know that I have someone near by in AZ in case I run into a big problem. Your post on the generator is awesome.. we are looking at them.. it’s always great to have that ability to have electric when none is available
This would definitely make living out of an SUV on the road a lot easier. An amazing solution to mobile power!
I can’t thank you enough! We are considering buying a Bluetti AC 200Max as of yesterday! The 500 was just out if our budget. So the only information we needed that I couldn’t find was whether the AC200Max could start the roof AC in our 30 amp RV. I knew it could run it, but was concerned it couldn’t start it. Thank you for the info! Will be getting a soft start, and we happily on our way when our Bluetti comes in August. Perfect video!
Have loved watching your channel grow over the years. Stumbled onto your channel when I lost the entire roof on a winnebago Chieftain and was able to rebuild the roof at my shop after watching you do several!
Your reviews are fun. You're knowledge is obvious and you speak my language
Just adding a couple shekels to the mix. I’ve got one of these and use it to run a cabin in Vermont. It stays put, there ain’t nothing g portable about this sucker ..I wish it had wheels. Ain’t no one lugging this sucker around, no one. ‘Most people’ are not using a single panel to charge these. That would take forever, there’s not enough time in the day to charge this with a single panel. I run 2-300watt flexible and a folding 200. If anything you’d have to over panel with like a 1000watts to top this baby up on the daily. But, everyone’s sunshine is diff. Nice video and great tests sir!
I’m currently going down this rabbit hole. Started looking for one just to power a coffee maker while tent camping😅 I have a 2006 Fleetwood Revolution, but sometimes it’s just too big so out tent hasn’t been forgotten. 💪🏽💪🏽
I love my smaller Bluetti. Great for camping. Ready for power outages.
Thanks for the overview. Enjoyed your actual method of reviewing, made me feel like a human was reviewing the product!
I have been watching your channel for a very long time, I will say I have learn so much love how you do things. It was great finding out about the Bluetti AC200max
Hi Matt! Thanks for watching!
I’m truly impressed with all your videos. Sometimes I feel like I should be paying you. Thanks for all your help.
Thanks for your time posting the results, I never thought of one of the power cubes to replace a generator until it Saw your reviews.
Enjoy your videos,I like you own a older RV 2004 Monaco Dynasty and agree the older coaches are built so much better , with your knowledge I learned so many things about RV maintenance
Totally agree
I didn't want to mount solar panels on our RV so I bought this used with 3 200 watts portable panels for 1500! Works amazing!
We have an OKMO unit that is similar to the Bluetti. It was really almost silent when we did the initial charge on 110. Thanks for all the info!
Great review. Thanks for the oportunity to win the Bluetti. I am installing solar on my home with inexpensive used solar panels and a new inverter. Less than $5000 to output 7.5 KW at 220 Volts. Solar is getting cheaper and more usable all the time. I think your review showed all the capability of a solar generator quite effectively.
I jumped into the crowdfunding for this unit and got an early model (2000W/1700Wh). While we are hooked up to the grid, the power in our location isn't exactly reliable, and we got sick of losing food, and wanted something to run a lamp/fridge/charge phones when PG&E decides we don't need power. This thing does that with style. We keep it plugged in, and when the power dies we've got a nice battery to use for our needs. It has worked flawlessly for us. I like that you've put it through its paces. I'd never hit even close to the rated capacity, so it's cool to watch how it performs under stress. Nice job on the video.
Thanks for the review. It is nice to see a user review rather than a super technical review!
Thanks for all your info on Winnebago Roofs and other useful information, looks like the Bluetti AC 200 max maybe the ticket for me.
"Any comment will do" as required 😁. Seriously, thanks for the opportunity!
This would be an AMAZING start to off grid life for me!!
Nice video. I think this would be great as a backup for my fridge and freezer. I wouldn't have to run my little generator all the time. Anyways, thanks for the review.
I like your “just like facts” approach.
Great content, great variety, all totally real. i have learned a lot from you for application to my 2005 Monaco
Loved the in depth testing you did with the Bluetti. Keep up the great work AZ Expert!
I was impressed you tested the AC running with the softstart as this is a real world use case. I use a induction hot plate in the RV as I don't like using propane on the stove.
thank you. I think having LP in RVs is likely on its way out.
Love the channel James. You keep them less "winded" than most. Keep up the great work bud.
Man I could really use this, I have to limit my camping because of Healy reasons and needing power. Thanks for reviewing this!
This is a beast! What a gem to have off grid!!
Thanks for the in-depth review, we had never thought of looking into one of these units until watching your UA-cam review.
This unit will be a great opportunity for me to bond with my family while exploring the outdoors. Sometimes I like to think that I could make the experience more enjoyable if I had the right equipment. This right here is checking off a big box in those areas.
Another great video. Learned a lot about RV roofing issues from your videos. First thing I check when RV hunting.
Thank you for sharing, watching your channel has helped me understand my American Tradition and make some of my repairs.
Great video. Your video is one of the most complete informative video's I have seen on a power station. Thank You.
Informative video. Even with this Bluetti's limited power, it would definitely meet my off-grid needs.
We enjoy watching your shows. Really enjoy the information you put out. I find if we have RV questions we turn on your UA-cam channel. Thanks and keep the info coming.
That Soft-Start is really impressive.
Great demo of the product. Was looking at getting one of these. After your presentation I will be saving up for one. Thanks for the true demo of the product.
Hey James, it was a great interview on the bluetti looking forward to see more of your videos
I would love to receive this, I'm trying hard to prep and this would be a amazing item to own. Thank you for the chance to have power in an emergency.
It's great to see such improvement since zero's first came out x, a out. I am a homeless, disabled vet forced to live full time in a 2001 southwind out on streets of San Francisco. I was researching these and dreaming of owning one someday . You answered so many of the questions I had. Ty
I love the shore power plug! This generator could power my boat AC!
