I just did this for my 2005 Ford escape, so far it seems to have fixed the problem with the alarm randomly going off. Hopefully it stays that way. Thank you.
What a piece if shit I am having the same problem. And the disintegrated subframe. And the control arm bushing s. I went to college to be a Ford Tech but this is my last Ford. I must be a glutton for punishment. My Subaru and Volkswagen dont have these problems and they doe scream at you until you put a seatbelt on.

Exactly same issue on my 06 Escape V6, alarm was activated usually after the rain, this trick worked for me. Thank you for sharing this video ✌️
Where is the fuse located so I can just take mine out and get mine to stop from going off when it shouldn't
Well mine doesn’t have a fuse some cars don’t and are computer generated so you should try the video I am tonight to see what happens
You can pull the horn fuse but the lights will still flash.
Am dealing with this right now I got the same truck and same color but it’s a 2007.

You can turn off the seatbelt warning on these escapes. Maybe you should read your owners manual?
