I have the same patrol and engine and want the same soot cleaning and power/torque gain! I have needle/dawes valve boost control. Should I go back to factory boost control?
Go to modified diesel performance or ufi. Have had my crd tuned for couple years now with 0 reliability issues and pretty decent numbers. Picked up an extra 70hp and 170nm of torque and if anything the cars been MORE reliable since
@@fairdinkumpiereviews5357 At the end of the day, it all comes down to how you drive....I am sure there are people who drive with their foot flat to the floor and will not see a saving on fuel after a tune. I don't know the History of mine (wether its had a tune or not but its very good down low), as I am now the second owner and have been for 2 years and 50,000km. I get 10.5-11 litres per 100km Suburban Driving (4.3 Diffs on 33”) and around 10 on the highway. It’s set at 9Lbs of boost EGTs on the Highway are less than 300, It’s Torquey enough to go over the WesGate at 80kph in 5th (2000 RPM) or Do 60-70Kph in traffic along Nepean Highway (1500-1750 RPM) in 5th with EGT’s still below 300 and not Labouring
yeah it all depends on the driving style really. Most people do report back a 5-10% saving in fuel though after we have carried out a custom dyno tune.
Go the GU Patrol! 🛻🤙😎📹
would be good to see the difference just the soot clean on its own makes on the dyno
We have dyno graphs available to showcase this. Give us a call if you like.
