Living off the grid requires you to keep the cycle of resources flowing inward. It's now been 2 months since our rainwater harvesting system broke and we have been forced to seek our drinking water from places not on the property. When living a minimalist lifestyle you tend to get used to utilizing the least amount of the resources you have to prepare for times when resources are low. This is why we felt the urgency to rebuild and upgrade our rainwater harvesting system complete with a biofilter filtration system. We take you through our day and daily routine of our off grid experience and will share with some of the ideas we have to sustain ourselves like mushroom cultivation which I talk to you all about.. Making major strides after many setbacks has taught us that the ebb and flow of our off grid journey is unavoidable and to take every obstacle as another learning experience to a great lesson called life.
