I first made that carrot egg dish quite a while ago, along with the miso green peppers for breakfast, and they were SO GOOD!!
ohhhh such a lovely combination!!!
I made a batch of the Miso carrot soup for the first time last week. It tastes incredible. It also freezes well in individual servings.

美和さん、すみませんが、蓮根のレシピがありますか? 蓮根が一番好きな野菜です。😊
Stupid question. Was the broccoli for the quick miso soup precooked, or did it just cook in the boiling water in that 5 minutes? Thanks
The carrot salad looks so delicious 😋 I'm allergic to an ingredient in most balsamic vinegars, can I substitute with rice vinegar?
Maybe mix rice vinegar and mirin. Taste it, it should probably be a bit sweet, since balsamic is. If it's not enough, add a tiny bit of honey or something. :)
Rice vinegar should be just fine, but make sure to add less eice vinegar and add additional sweetner to balance it out!
Does anyone have a trustworthy online source for miso in the US? In my new town, none of the grocery stores carry it and my latest Amazon package was super oxidized.
I'm sorry, I didn't find a link to your cook book?
Thank you for asking☺️www.shinagawa-japanese-cooking.com/e-book
I soooo badly want to try the carrot nut salad, but cannot have nuts. Does anyone have an idea for an alternative to nuts?
Maybe roasted chickpeas?
Can you eat sunflower or pumpkin/pepita seeds?
@@susana6814 yes! I didn’t think of those. Love pepitas.
@@celticlass8573 just bought some, will look at testing them out! Thanks
Ground roasted sesame seeds would also be delicious :)
