The issue with HE suitability is not limited to foam. HE washers are designed to operate with cold water, mild agitation, and reduced amounts of rinse water. That makes them unsuitable for use with soaps.
got recipe, excited to try! question - some fragrances that I’ve seen are allowing up to 11% in laundry detergent. Can I add an emulsifier to your recipe? Or would it require a whole new recipe?
Hi there, thank you so much! Yes you can add more fragrance with the addition of polysorbate 80. I have done this with this formula with great results. I have been wondering if I should do a video on that formula as well so everyone can see how to add more fragrance.

Great question! The surfactants used here have some solubilizing properties, so a little bit of fragrance oil or essential oil will combine with no separating.
Quick question, through your paid membership I know it states that you will receive downloaded recipes and step by step instructions. Do you also provide a calculator in case we want to increase the recipe size?

However, every formula comes with amounts and percentages so you can take the percentages and place them in a formula calculator like the free one at wholesale supplies plus.com and scale up or down as you like. If you know how much you want to make you can take your batch size and use plug the percentages into any calculator. 😊

Hi, I am confused about the 1st ingredient sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES) on the bottle it does not have the word ether. I also clicked on the etsy link for the digital recipe, but it does not list your store.
Your formulation omits water softener, soil suspension/antiredeposition agents, and enzymes, the latter being used in mainstream detergents since the 1960’s.

Yes, I will never understand why people go after content creators on UA-cam. My topics are so far from controversial it always surprises me when others attack for literally no reason at all. Sometimes I contemplate how these people are in real life? Are they just bullies living behind their computer screen? However, I will say 99% of the comments that people leave are very positive and super nice. It is the 1% that tend to get more attention than they deserve unfortunately. Fun Fact: I have been on UA-cam since 2015 and I have never left a negative comment or a thumbs down on any video I have ever watched. Even if I come across something I don't like, I never thumbs down it. If you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all.
Well informed comments which challenge the validity and veracity of content are not attacks “for no reason at all.” They serve to improve the abysmal quality of YT content, correct errors and benefit viewers. I’d not have posted so many comments, except for the steady stream of misrepresentations. If you weren’t so self righteous you might actually learn something and improve. But it seems yourself mostly interested in defending your fragile ego.

Can you add bluing or Oxy Clean to this formula? If so how much?
I am not sure if those ingredients are compatible with this formula. I am only familiar with those ingredients being added to the wash itself.

Sodium Laureth sulfate and sodium lauryl ether sulfate are the same thing. The terms are used interchangeably. 😊
