Only the Poly appeals to me unless I could get a great deal at Wilderness. My favorite resort on property is AKL but being close to Epcot is most important to me as a senior in his 70’s.
Hi 👋 Larry, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts…. absolutely for older adults with progressively increasing mobility challenges ease of transport from the Disney Resort to their favorite park is very important……Nancy and I like them all equally for different reasons ….. we typically do split stays and arrange to go to the parks closest to each Disney resort to reduce resort to park travel effort and time. We also spend less time in the parks and more at the resorts so staying at a resort where we feel relaxed with inviting theming is becoming more and more important to us. I admit that I am a bit worried about the new tower rooms at Polynesian causing an influx of non resort guests flooding the property to see the new rooms and planned new restaurant. But, I am sticking with Polynesian because of the ease of transportation to both MK and Epcot via walk to the TTC. And we love the convenience of visiting the restaurants and lounges at other nearby hotels. My bucket list item for my upcoming Dec. trip is the Geuyser Pointe Lounge at Wilderness Lodge. Hi 👋 Leslie. I agree with your thoughts re influx of non-resort guests at Poly re the new Tower. I know we plan to visit when we are staying at GF before Christmas. I also think it won’t last forever and the wave of non-guests visiting Poly re the new Tower will fade in time when the next new DVC building appears. Thanks for your kind comments re our videos. ☺️
