Sounds like piston slap to me. Basically when they get a bit worn out the gap between the cylender walls and the side skirts of the piston gets to big it makes that noise as the piston rattles around. But as the engine warms up that piston expands with the heat and closes that gap and it goes away
My wl 2.5 has the same issue, keep changing mountings every few services and it stops for a while. I feel as if the heat from the manifold causes the rubber on the mountings to melt after long drives.
Has anyone heard of start up shudder like the engines going to get ripped off the mounts, mine will do that now and again, motor has done 95k, runs very good. (Ford courier 2002) But can vibrate a bit after a long trip. Was thinking timing or injectors or maybe cam belt slip, but has had belt done at 90k.

Get the lifters adjusted? Cheap oil or low oil maybe?

I have bought the same style truck. It sounded and looked exactly the same, vibration and all with 120k on it. Ran well
