I have had a look at mine and looks like mine has a oil cooler not a intercooler Also mine doesn’t have the turbo pipe from snail to wastewater if it does have one it’s not in the same place as yours can you give me any tips please thanks loving the vids
My ranger has a small what looks like a oil cooler sticking out the bottom of the bumper And also has no pipe on the turbo like yours or doesn’t have the places for the pipe from snail to wastegate it’s a 2003 ranger
Yes its a 2wd super cab 2003 reg PL03RZS like yours and the other guys in your video there is a cover over the turbo also so don’t know if it’s further down under there but it’s not we’re yours is I have done the egr delete it’s not looked back since that runs amazing thanks for your help and replies
I will have a look I don’t want to upset it and end up bursting it she is pushing 200k the engine is the same one as you have tho as I followed your egr delete video 👌
@@rangerfortin1504 thanks, so i would be able to connect a potentiometer to these wires and trick the pump into putting more fuel? instead of buying the synergy box. like this video ua-cam.com/video/hHkDAwjfIjo/v-deo.html
cerren griffith it’s a WLT-3 so basically take a WLT and add egr and fly by wire inj pump It’s what they did in the European ones to make them euro3 compliant
@@rangerfortin1504 Thanks. It is like a unicorn to me, because they are so rear. I wonder if it would be easy to convert to the fly by wire setup. Tuning would be easier.
@@rangerfortin1504 Ohh, I thought that fly by wire would be easier to tune. Just chip it and good to go. Also I would think that you would get better fuel economy from the fly by wire and maf setup.
Awesome vid 🙌🏻 spot on mate

My waste gate is just a spring no vac pipes into it.

Back pressure operated rhf3
Very large exhaust housing and only makes about 4 psi

I have never seen one of these with a maf sensor. Is this a fully mechanical wlt 2.5 engine?

Yeah it would be if anyone actually did custom chipping on them but all you can get is a generic remap on a chip and nothing tailored to suit
How much did you manage to turn your pump? Mine doesn’t move much at all 🤷♂️
Only a few degrees
