My elderly cat had very dry itchy ears used to drive her mad and she was very bad tepered I've been poring a small amout of caster oil in her ears and rubbing all over the inside ears every her ears are back to normal. My 14 yo female 🐈 developed a tiny cyst on her right temple 8 yrs ago, over the last year it has more than quadrupled. It also busts open only to fill back up. I tried coconut oil with DMSO which would shrink it but then the cyst just filled back up. For last two weeks I’ve been applying castor oil & the cyst has been reducing in size considerably 😊. It’s been producing more puss & blood (she works hard to get oil off!) from a scabbed area but I just assume that is part of the healing process. I’m glad my instinct was right to use castor oil, her ‘nubbin’, as we call it, was getting too big.

Castor oil is amazing. Great for humans too. Got rid of arthritic pain in my thumb joint that I had had for years.
My dog itches like crazy...I'm making him homemade dog food like you suggested but he still itches...so I mixed coconut oil and castor oil together and it has helped him so much. I just use a dropper and apply it to several spots and rub it in for several minutes. He looks a bit greasy but feels so much better. He didn't have any red spots and maybe a tiny bit of flakes. I'm so glad you approve of it, so I feel better about applying it.

@@leepopaz253cedarwood essential oil is very good for the cough and wheezing. I use it for my cat and for myself. Externally. Put several drops in the diffuser or make your dog sniff it straight from the bottle.

I wanted to put some on my cat paws but someone told me that it’s dangerous for my cat. Now am scared to use it. But it’s working for my back I have osteoarthritis. Thank you so much.
I'm not a veterinarian but what I would do is to just put very few where the cat can not lick it, which means I would avoid the paws. I know you are talking about paws but eventually, it will get a bit there as the cat is is cleaning himself. As we know, we (not me but in general) apply this dangerous stuff against the fleas (it is poisonous) right near the shoulder blades on his neck? this is where I would put 1 or 2 drops of castor oil in order to be safe.

Hi Dr Jones, I am a big fan of yours for many years! My 10 year old poodle - terrier was diagnosed with lymphoma 4 days ago and I am trying everything to comfort her. I just read that castor oil shrinks tumors when applied externally, however others indicate that if it refers to a malignant tumor could be burst. What is your opinion on this? Thank you very much.

My dog has severe dry eyes and the med vet gave me wasn't working well so I got some organic castor oil and put in her eyes and she is doing so much better.

Please also try N-acetaline (vitamin) I no longer have to flush my pups eyes, I use off-brand human allergy drops 2x a day and I make her meals homade, using Dr.Jones advice.

Love your videos! Healed my dog’s eye injury with castor oil, healed it amazingly. Result was darker shinier fur, not from direct oil but internally from licking leftover residue. Recommend for improving eyesight as well. Been using in my eyes with great results.

Ever since I switched him to it, he's been constipated, major worms, irritated skin, itching and biting more and dandruff. The vet wouldn't listen. can you do a video on how to use it on a tumor on a cat? I see things stating that it can swell the tumor at first causing it to bleed but that it will heal it after. My cat has a pretty big tumor on his head that I have had numerous surgeries to remove and it keeps coming back :( There is little direction on how to use it for a tumor and what to do if swelling occurs. A detailed video for tumor control would be soooo helpful! pleaseeeeeeeee or anyone in the comments with advice I would love to hear from you.

How much Castrol oil should I give a 55lbs dog for joint pain? Do I give it to him orally with a syringe or rub into skin?

Boo Hoo it’s best to put it on their skin because it will give them diarrhea. If you want to help for constipation give them orally a teaspoon of Coconut oil It is less harsh on their digestive system as castor oil and if they are still constipated you can give it to them twice a day until they move their bowels.

Hi Dr, watched your other video whereby a natural saline was made to wash a dog's dry eyes. Half a cup of water to quarter teaspoon of salt. I use a facial cotton to press onto my dog's eyes and then wash and wipe on the tear stain on her face. Do I need to wash off the 'saline' solution off her face? Will it case the fur on her face to dry?

This comment needs more likes! I didn't know there was a difference and bought the wrong kind. Luckily I was doing more research before using it for anything. I bought the Now brand it says for external use only. I had thought it was universal but it's not.
Thank you for posting this. I use castor oil on my skin all the time. I have psoriasis on my eyelids and it really does help reduce inflammation. I never thought about using it on my kitty. My ginger bastard cat has herpes so his eye weeps and he also has acne on his chin. I took your advice and put it on. I will add a pro tip though..pro makeup tip anyway. I used a foundation brush to apply it and it went on very easily and really got in between all those little kitty chin hairs.
