The ballroom scene is my favorite, I love those simple, old school effects!! I love when Leota's eyes open & close, I've caught it on video a few times!
*Another fun fact* Of the 4 singing bust, people often mistake the broken one as Walt Disney, due to the similar mustache, but it's actually Thurl Ravenscroft. A singer/voice actor, that was singing the deep bass part of Grim Grinning Ghosts. He also lends his voice to other Disney park rides, like Country Bear Jambore, Pirates of the Caribbean, Enchanted Tiki Room, and The Mark Twain Riverboat. He also worked in many classic Disney films, often as a singer/background character, but he's most famous for two VERY recognizable. He's the singer of "you're a mean one, Mr Grinch" in the original animated feature, AND, he's also... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT! Yep. The original voice of Tony the Tiger. :)
I'm just now seeing this and I loved it! Now I want to find out more information on the Haunted Mansion as well as other history on other attractions. Keep up the good work!
I want to make a suggestion to you guys, since it appears that you (Taylor) really like the Haunted Mansion. I know that at some point, the two of you want to plan a trip out west and make it to Disneyland. (I know you said this in your Q&A in February) but TRY to plan it so that you're there in October, or anywhere between October & December/Christmas. That is when the Disneyland Resort changes their Haunted Mansion to the "Nightmare Before Christmas" overlay. The Mansion there is pretty much the same as it is here, with the exception of that room with all the staircases, that is not in that one. But the Nightmare version is really cute and very nicely done. Mini Leota at the end of the attraction is replaced with Sally. I think you would really enjoy that Taylor.
Only been twice the WDW. It was in the 90s. The haunted Mansion is one of my favorites. It’s seems from yalls video the best experience it to take the stand by line.
Paul Frees was the Ghost host. He also did a lot of animation voices like Boris Badenov. Thurl Ravenscroft Was the singing bust that was broken. Besides Tony the Tiger, he also sang "Your a mean one Mr. Grinch" in the 1966 cartoon.
I have been on this ride (back in 1998) & my two favorite scenes were the ballroom and the coffin where the skeleton is trying to escape from. The howling dogs on the walk up to the house was really spooky though
The WDW Couple I would like to learn about any ride or all the rides. As when we are there it is go go go. And I did not even realize that we missed all the important history on the ride
Actually, Im still piecing it together as I'm typing this but it either means they killed "Bertie" or he killed them. Let me watch it a few more times and I'll have the answer for you! **Edit: Possible theory, the twins were poisoned by Bertie? Bertie was shot by Aunt Florence? ***Edit: Still wrong.

Just started watching your channel, and have binge watched for two days. I hope you make more history and hidden secret videos.
Amy Fisher we currently have a few, an Adventureland video is currently in the works!
The Haunted Mansion is one of our must do rides, love it.
The statues out front are family members that died or killed each other in order to inherit the house, they tell the story of it on one of the tours.

Fun fact: The Ravenscroft organ in the queue is named after Thurl Ravenscroft, the one who played the Ghost Host and Tony the tiger
I'm sure someone already told you but the symbols on the busts in the beginning of the queue tell you the story of who killed who!
Yup it is the Walt Disney World, Haunted Mansion! The one I went to.❤️😉👍

Absolutely! Something specific you want to see?
The WDW Couple I would like to learn about any ride or all the rides. As when we are there it is go go go. And I did not even realize that we missed all the important history on the ride
I was about to post that statement too--more like this would be fantastic! I love learning the history of places and people and the working of Disney.

Excellent question, We haven't found a good company/way to create hats for those who would like one yet.
I use printful. Print on demand directly from an Etsy or Shopify link. :)
the bird looks like a symbol for a hanging maybe?
