Bloodwork ended up being one of the show's best villains. Not as great as Reverse-Flash or Captain Cold, but he's up there with Zoom.

Bloodwork is awesome, creepy, and terrifying! And I definitely think that although the design is similar to Carnage, he is very different from a symbiote.

NerdyarcRBX Well I remember them from the “Batman Brave and the Bold” and from “Justice Ledge Gods and Monsters” but I also found their current comics. But their a cool concept and wish people knew more about them

@@itsmecaldo not really. instead of blood he mainly uses dark matter to control and do everything he wants. i think the CW was like "hey thats too graphic change it up wont ya?" if u think something is too graphic from the comics then leave it alone and go find some other material. dont make it PG.

Gary yes and then his abilities were all Dark Matter based it wasn’t actual blood. It was Dark matter I think they mention it in the show too

I like Bloodwork for the CW in the way it mirrors Barry's issues on life and death, which is probably another reason they went with him as a villain than others.

I'm happy to see that new additions to Rogue galleries are being created these days. I was worried that they'd stopped creating new characters and we're just running with the same ones over and over.

Also I was pretty disappointed that the CW Flash made Ramsey’s blood appear more black than red. But it’s CW what do you expect?

Like yeah, few bad movies in the begining, but If you can't see how much they improved with Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Shazam then you must be either blind or dumb. Meanwhile Flash had great two seasons and then got really bad.

Deadman wonderland flashbacks
It would be interesting if this villain manipulated the components in the blood’s elemental structure to create things like gun powder ( saltpeter, carbon, and possibly sulfur from its decomposition essentially due to accelerated stimulation) or even producing artificial magnetism with its iron properties. The possibilities could be endless.
P.S. It is comics after all.

not the only anime where that was a thing, another had a girl who cut herself to use her own blood to fashion swords and daggers from it.

I almost came when I heard the words "Ryan Connolly" and Film Riot". I was there when you used to do guest hosting and when you first started this channel. PLEASE BRING BACK FILM RIOT, THOSE VIDEOS WERE ALWAYS SO FUN AND INFORMATIVE!
This is actually a pretty cool villain, I like his power set.

One of the coolest villain designs.
Kudos to you for a video well done! Bloodwork is another case of unique villains. Some of his abilities are similar to bloodbending in Avatar the List Airbender series. I'm surprised that he doesn't know how to take control of a person's blood and use a puppet master ability of controlling them to do his bidding. Hemokinese, I'm guessing, is the DC version of bloodbending. Very, very cool and very dangerous in the right hands. But they didn't explain HOW he developed such powers. Carnage was an alien creatures with the powers to manipulate blood (the life force of all living creatures). Was Bloodwork another metahuman like Flash? As for Flash Season 6, I'm sure it was inspired by the recent Venom movie and they're using a similar CG effects to create Bloodwork's morphing abilities.

Blood bending, aka HAEMOKINESIS (or hemokinesis if you're American), is basically a very rare subset of hydrokinesis as blood contains water..

I would like to see how Blood work would affect the Red Lanterns since use their blood
I think the red lanterns would be immune to Bloodwork's control. When you put on a red ring, all your blood is expelled and replaced with red energy from the ring. No blood to control. That's just my theory.
