Yeah , that was the second half to h being a living time paradox. As he relies he can't kill Barry cause there wouldn't be a speed force also no negative speedforce. with it. But here's another thing the Reverse Flash we see all the time is the younger one. Pulled seconds from his death by Hunter Zolomon.
Yeah I know he always dies and comes back and thats his thing and that he can't really die for good I just wanted to say that DC killed him off twice in the span of 4-5 weeks :/

Thawne's origin is amazing, not just this Rebirth version. He's not a man-child, he's a socio/psycho and people with those disorders have similar struggles. When youre like youre judgment and mindset is cloudy. He didn't find love or happiness in anything except the flash. It makes perfect sense that his own hero caused him to snap.

Then we have the second reverse flash, the one who has black lightnings around him, like Barry in this story. That reverse flash can also stop time. So now we have two reverse flashes? Hidden Eagle1 Reverse flash can be killed but he'll always be alive, due to the fact that he's transversal to time. There is always a point at which Reverse Flash is alive. He can he killed by doctor Manhattan at one point in time, but in another he could be zipping around.

I like this story because in the end, even though Eobard is killed he has still beaten Barry. He's given him negative speed force which I'm assuming will one day turn him into a form of the Black Flash since Black Flash harnesses negative speed force.

this story has given me a new perspective on Reverse Flash ... so compelling
what i never understood is when thawn goes back to change the timeline all is cool and humpdy dumpdy and only what he changed is changed, but when barry does it, it creates a "time boom" that changes everything.

i don't think so wally became the fastest with effort if they are gonna fuck this bad then that's a shame but again i don't think so because according to writers wally is still the fastest speedster out of all with extra powers only thing wally doesn't have is an anchor his lightning rod which keeps him from using his speed fully i believe they are doing this because he would be too OP. also i want to mention barry didn't stop time in the multiplex situation he used his ability to perceive things faster while in reality it was almost nothing.
