if we were talking about forces I have one it would be the Anti Force it literally the opposite of all natural matter and it destroy anything in the positive matter universe it used on. This Idea came when the idea that the anti-life equation lied in the minds of humans. what it some people could tap into power and it manifested in strange and unnatural ways like take jokers insanity. It would take an event equivalent to Joker's One Bad Day and it would drive someone over the edge into Doom (since that a big thing in DC right now). Joker is insane by every natural definition but what if by and unnatural definition he is sane while the world around him by his own perspective is mad. by taping into the Anti Force it give joker a mind that works in a way that is unknowable by any normal person save for those close enough to the Anti Force like Luther, Braniac, Lobo, Deathstroke, and even on a smaller level Batman. they can at most time accurately (besides Lobo) guess Joker's next move but never fully predict him otherwise they would be driven as insane as he is. this could be the new thing Darkseid needs to gain since the new gods and the fourth world is gone. Maybe he needs champions of this force along wit his own Omega Effect to from the Anti-Life Equation. Each champion gains powers relevant to their suffering or pain. Someone who was by their view hurt by the world itself could disintegrate all natural matter that they come into contact with but they can't enjoy most natural things anymore. Another who is so afraid of Pain and hurt after suffering so lone can literally erase their presence from the world to point no would know them if they lost sight of or didn't really know the person. Thats my idea great video I have only recently got into DC comics and am going back between New 52 and DC Rebirth.
Technically speaking, that color wheel isn't inaccurate. Red's opposite is Cyan. It's the reason why old 3D glasses use Red and cyan lenses, and why inverting red innannart program results in cyan. Likewise, the opposite of green is Magenta, and the opposite of blue is yellow. It's easier to see how red and green clash rather than complement each other when they're paired in their purest forms without some other colors to balance it out. Even things that are commonly green and red like Christmas sweaters use reds that are closer to Magenta or yellow, and greens that are closer to yellow or blue, just to make them easier on the eyes
That reminds me - did anything ever come up with the Invisible Emotional Spectrum or what ever it is? We got Ultraviolet Lanterns but I don't remember hearing about any others.

Strangely, DC doesn't seem to have one and relies mostly on in-universe methods, though Marvel's rolling timeline certainly counts. Marvel's method... tends to be less convoluted, especially since its heroes don't tend to get as much Power Creep. The Hulk is the closest analogue to The Flash in that regard. Hilariously, the DC universe is so overtuned that even Marvel heroes who go for a visit get insane power boosts; in Avengers v Justice League, Scarlet Witch gets even more cosmically broken because the fundamentals of chaos magic in the DC universe are waaay more ridiculous. Flash finds the reverse to be true, when he comes to the Marvelverse and has to contend with relying on his speedster physiology alone. In theory, Amadeus Cho could become ridiculous in the DC world, what with all of the "equations give you superpowers" stuff like the Speed Equation and the like.

The most sense I can take from these forces is: Speed Force - the essential Force that allows the movement of everything, everything has Speed Force residing on it Negative Speed Force - by inverting the Speed Force in things you create something that destroys Speed Force and creates new Negative Speed Force energy, a user of which could transform Speed Force from other things into Negative Speed Force for itself Still Force - the true reverse of Speed Force, it's what allows things to resist movement, it's what causes rough surfaces to slow things down, it's what essentially comes from order and in turn, causes order Strength Force - it's what causes everything in the Universe to be able to interact with each other, it makes it possible that Speed and Still Forces can fully interact, it's what Gravity uses to pull things to itself, it's what makes Still start Moving, and what makes Speed start Slowing Sage Force - comes from the Life Force, is the source of consciousness itself, it's what causes emotions, I'd say it's kinda like what makes everything from outside our mind able to interact with it, very complicated since it doesn't have much basis in science Life Force - again very complicated because it doesn't have much basis in science, I theorize it comes from ordered systems, coming from chaos, exactly how life today came to be, maybe a Force that controls order on all systems allowing order to resist for basically eternity and chaos to diminish...? I like the idea of multiple ‘forces’. It allows for the structural integrity of the metaphysical universe to be expanded upon a bit more as well as allowing characters to have something similar and akin to the Flash while still being their own thing that isn’t yet another speedster. It’s just... clearly needs a bit more fleshing out.

The Blue is a different thing, it's part of a group with the Metal, the Red, the Rot, and like 3 others. This 3 Forces are tied with the Speed Force. Another different group is the Emotional Spectrum that powers the many Lantern Corps, all part of the Life (White Lantern) that opposes the Death (Black Lantern)

It being a part of gravity is fine as gravity is a fundamental force of the universe. I do like however how the still force is the opposite of the Speed force. They should stick with fundamental forces and their opposites. The life force is too similar to the green Lantern lore. It's totally unnecessary.
Agreed. The Life Force is just ignoring that the Clear/ Blue already exists. Along with The Red and The Green. Which is crazy as Ivy rather recently became a Green avatar.

It's very possible that the writer just forgot, but you could just say that the various 'life kingdoms' (the green, red, rot, metal, clear, and white) are just different factions of the life force, like how the various lantern colors are different facets of the White Lantern.
That's what happens when you have different writers with different ideas. I won't be surprised if a future writer doesn't do a story where it turns out the life kingdoms, the forces and the emotion spectrum are actually all the same thing - some kind of "you never noticed before because it's too much for your puny human mind to understand" thing.
Hmm, The Void Force. This would be a 'Force' which was not sealed away like the rest of them during the Force War, as it is connected to space itself. A Void Force user can bend space, this would let them do things like teleport and local omni-spatial awareness(ie they sense everything around them). When they get their powers they would just vanish then appear in a black hole, as that is where space is the densest.
@@dddvvv7038 From how sageforce was described, it's powers are connected to thought/ are psychic based(think jean gray) while my force idea powers are connected to 3 dimensional space(think Nightcrawler). Supposedly a sageforce user teleported, but it's quite unclear what happened. So unless they start opening portals into space(high end on the difficulty list but still possible), then they are not the same thing. Edit: just checked, the only guy with the sage force who seemed to teleport in the linked comic is not listed as having such powers, but does have illusion casting so there is that.

I am so glad they're incorperating these into the CW Flash! I have been interested in the other forces for awhile now, ever since this video came out actually.

The plot force, it’s basically the force that moves the story along and the reader is the only avatar of it. It’s secretly the only forces that matters.
It's interesting how the Flash TV show has now introduced three of these, and the Still Force they've actually made more related to time, being able to revisit past events and trap people in Time Loops, but not just time travel, more like manipulating the locality to become that time period, with rippling effects that make other time periods manifest themselves... It'll be interesting if they add the life draining and the actual physical stillness to this power, but they haven't yet had an episode where the still force and the speed force interact directly. They've also made "Fuerza" (sp?) not just the "barry allen" of the strength force, but seemingly the physical manifestation of the force itself??? I think...
The vibration force: it is the force that separates the different worlds within the multi-verse and connects them all together certain people and things are able to access it for travel like vibe and The mother boxes
In my opinion, the only one of these forces that i felt was okay to include was the Still Force. The others just feel like complications for the sake of complications. If i was adding an extra force, it would be the space force. One for clearing matter essentially.
So I'm what I'm got from all of this, is the forces are just forms of sciences that has been perfected. -Physics (speed & still) -Biology (life, death, and some strength) -Psychology, abstract thought and emotions (sage) Environmental (strength) I thought of Terra The one I'd add and would love to see is, transmutation, changing of matter on a molecular scale. Could be the coin flip of the strength force. As the users would be physically weak and couldn't combat gravity changes easily.
It's a well known concept that time is affected by gravity, thus "time space" so if the speed force is time itself, would that make the strength force space itself?
But the Still force in Cw has Temporal particles as in time. but that goes against the Speed force being time. unless they'll say that Still force is natural progression of time?
Maybe add "Corruption Force" it would be able do corrupt things in way that would made them work with will of one who wields the force or destroy them, but also it would be able do manipulate spacetime and by that create worm holes, black holes, white holes.
I thought Aquaman tapped into the Clear for his powers. I don't know if that's currently still a thing in DC, though (unlike the Green, the Red, the Black, the Grey, and the Metal).
I think something like the Mass Force would be cool. It would allow someone to control the Mass of their body and objects around them, making them harden or soften
I would add some forces called the shade and glow. The shade and glow are forces opposed. The shade is most often a liquid, which can be drunk for a power boost, but when a metal is dipped in it, the metal becomes shade steel. The shade enhances all abilities, but If two much pure shade is consumed then they lose all sense of self and become part of a hive mind. The glow on the other hand disables abilities. The glow takes the form of crystal, and when the crystal is crushed it permanently disables all abilities. The glow equivalent to shade steel is glow steel, which is made by mixing melted glow and any type of metal. This also disables abilities, but only for a limited time.
I know this video is a bit older, but I'm still going to post this. I like to think the Speed Force is Time, the Strength force is Space/Matter, and the Sage force is Sentience/Mentality. I don't know how the Still force connects, but I still like my theory.

The Bond force, this mystical forces is the force of which keeps everything together from atoms to relationships and of course simply normal glue. I've been waiting for this subject to get a video from someone considering it something so new that seems pretty important, so thanks! As for a different kind of Force... maybe something like the elemental force? Y'know, water, earth, fire, air? Though I guess the Strength Force kinda covers earth and maybe Life Force covers water? But hey, apparently the other Forces already have an avatar, so we can have the literal Avatar in this way, mastering the Element Force.
Elements were already covered at least in pre-crisis by the "The [color]"s like The Green whose avatars include Swamp Thing and Poison Ivy. There's also The Melt, The Metal and The Divided. They're mostly aspects of nature but those are what the elements are made out of.
Maybe that's what the forever force is? It would make sense considering the fact that most of the forces mentioned are considered to be constant or in some cases considered to exist forever.
The forever force may be the force of Constants, and they may be what The Gods have like Darkseid and his Variant being all that is evil, which could be seen as a constant.
I think a cool novelty force idea could be called: THE META-FORCE. Avatars of the Meta-force gain the knowledge that they are in fact, within a comic book. Characters like Animal Man, Superboy Prime, the Joker, The Creeper, And Deadpool have all tapped into his cosmic awareness. Characters who master the Meta-Force are able to transfer their consciousness into different comic book companies' universes (Marvel, Image, Hellboy, etc.). Ambush Bug is the master and main avatar of the Meta-Force (In the same way The Flash is the master of the speed force). The main abilities of this force should be: Breaking the Fourth wall, astral projection, interdimensional teleportation, multiversal incursions, and event-comic causing. (This is also a great way to get Grant Morrison to write for Ambush Bug, and to cause a new Multiversal crossover event for Marvel and DC).
I wish the other forces would have stuck with the "starting with S" tradition. Though the two you mention might be outside of the other ones, maybe just coincidental naming. Other forces I would integrate would be the Stretch Force, which embodies the elasticity of objects. An avatar of the Stretch Force would be able to stretch themselves to a whatever extent the writers need them too. Another one I came up with is the Signal Force, or what I think a better name would be: the Sine Force (because of sine waves). A... Sinester I guess, could manipulate and create wavelengths of all different kinds. This would allow them to make everything from sounds at any pitch to radiation at any intensity to light with any colour. This power could have some pretty cool usages in the right hands. And since there is the Negative Speed Force, which still basically gives speed, a Negative Strength, Still and Sage force isn't too farfetched.
Well, looks like the current Flash season is taking on this storyline in some forms as the avatar of the strength force already made her and appearance and there was a villain using a power akin to the sage force soon after her. The Speed force also claimed they both attack it so these beings are clearly accessing power on that kind of level. I would love for another video taking on these forces in greater depth now that some time has pass and these plot points are being used again.

JK, I kid. ;-) but speaking of, in Star Wars there was also something called the Force Wars, the Living force (pretty much the Life Force) and the Cosmic force, I except DC to use that term at some point. Considering most of the Flashes are nerds and joksters ya think they'd make more Star Wars/Jedi references. :D
I think a cool force to add is the "Aggro Force:. Think of it like being a tank where you become the center of attention and must have to fight every/any one who stand in your line of site.

If I could come up with a force I would choose the emotion force. The most sense I can take from these forces is:
Speed Force - the essential Force that allows the movement of everything, everything has Speed Force residing on it
Negative Speed Force - by inverting the Speed Force in things you create something that destroys Speed Force and creates new Negative Speed Force energy, a user of which could transform Speed Force from other things into Negative Speed Force for itself
Still Force - the true reverse of Speed Force, it's what allows things to resist movement, it's what causes rough surfaces to slow things down, it's what essentially comes from order and in turn, causes order
Strength Force - it's what causes everything in the Universe to be able to interact with each other, it makes it possible that Speed and Still Forces can fully interact, it's what Gravity uses to pull things to itself, it's what makes Still start Moving, and what makes Speed start Slowing
Sage Force - comes from the Life Force, is the source of consciousness itself, it's what causes emotions, I'd say it's kinda like what makes everything from outside our mind able to interact with it, very complicated since it doesn't have much basis in science
Life Force - again very complicated because it doesn't have much basis in science, I theorize it comes from ordered systems, coming from chaos, exactly how life today came to be, maybe a Force that controls order on all systems allowing order to resist for basically eternity and chaos to diminish...? Again, complicated
Death Force - it's what ends order, it's the inevitable end of it, by reversing the polarity of Life Force, the order will be taken instead, making it impossible for life to exist in the area hit by the Force

I like the idea of multiple ‘forces’. It allows for the structural integrity of the metaphysical universe to be expanded upon a bit more as well as allowing characters to have something similar and akin to the Flash while still being their own thing that isn’t yet another speedster. It’s just... clearly needs a bit more fleshing out.

It being a part of gravity is fine as gravity is a fundamental force of the universe. I do like however how the still force is the opposite of the Speed force. They should stick with fundamental forces and their opposites. The life force is too similar to the green Lantern lore. It's totally unnecessary.

It’s possible they are pieces/extensions of the life force (most of them) or death force (the rot, possibly the grey). But that’s just my theory.

Oh well, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised that plot elements in a comic book are being constantly retconned inside and out multiple times a day. Asking for any consistency in this medium is just asking for a response of, "Ha ha ha... oh wait, you're serious; let me laugh even harder!"
It's very possible that the writer just forgot, but you could just say that the various 'life kingdoms' (the green, red, rot, metal, clear, and white) are just different factions of the life force, like how the various lantern colors are different facets of the White Lantern.
That's what happens when you have different writers with different ideas. I won't be surprised if a future writer doesn't do a story where it turns out the life kingdoms, the forces and the emotion spectrum are actually all the same thing - some kind of "you never noticed before because it's too much for your puny human mind to understand" thing.

This would be a 'Force' which was not sealed away like the rest of them during the Force War, as it is connected to space itself. A Void Force user can bend space, this would let them do things like teleport and local omni-spatial awareness(ie they sense everything around them). When they get their powers they would just vanish then appear in a black hole, as that is where space is the densest.

@@dddvvv7038 From how sageforce was described, it's powers are connected to thought/ are psychic based(think jean gray) while my force idea powers are connected to 3 dimensional space(think Nightcrawler). Supposedly a sageforce user teleported, but it's quite unclear what happened. So unless they start opening portals into space(high end on the difficulty list but still possible), then they are not the same thing.
Edit: just checked, the only guy with the sage force who seemed to teleport in the linked comic is not listed as having such powers, but does have illusion casting so there is that.

It's interesting how the Flash TV show has now introduced three of these, and the Still Force they've actually made more related to time, being able to revisit past events and trap people in Time Loops, but not just time travel, more like manipulating the locality to become that time period, with rippling effects that make other time periods manifest themselves... It'll be interesting if they add the life draining and the actual physical stillness to this power, but they haven't yet had an episode where the still force and the speed force interact directly.
They've also made "Fuerza" (sp?) not just the "barry allen" of the strength force, but seemingly the physical manifestation of the force itself??? I think...

I would add some forces called the shade and glow. The shade and glow are forces opposed. The shade is most often a liquid, which can be drunk for a power boost, but when a metal is dipped in it, the metal becomes shade steel. The shade enhances all abilities, but If two much pure shade is consumed then they lose all sense of self and become part of a hive mind. The glow on the other hand disables abilities. The glow takes the form of crystal, and when the crystal is crushed it permanently disables all abilities. The glow equivalent to shade steel is glow steel, which is made by mixing melted glow and any type of metal. This also disables abilities, but only for a limited time.
The new season just introduced most of these extra forces in the arrowverse show.

As for a different kind of Force... maybe something like the elemental force? Y'know, water, earth, fire, air? Though I guess the Strength Force kinda covers earth and maybe Life Force covers water? But hey, apparently the other Forces already have an avatar, so we can have the literal Avatar in this way, mastering the Element Force.
I would call it the Natural force, seeing as natural is a synonm for elemental and all.

Elements were already covered at least in pre-crisis by the "The [color]"s like The Green whose avatars include Swamp Thing and Poison Ivy. There's also The Melt, The Metal and The Divided. They're mostly aspects of nature but those are what the elements are made out of.

Maybe that's what the forever force is? It would make sense considering the fact that most of the forces mentioned are considered to be constant or in some cases considered to exist forever.
The forever force may be the force of Constants, and they may be what The Gods have like Darkseid and his Variant being all that is evil, which could be seen as a constant.
I think a cool novelty force idea could be called: THE META-FORCE.
Avatars of the Meta-force gain the knowledge that they are in fact, within a comic book. Characters like Animal Man, Superboy Prime, the Joker, The Creeper, And Deadpool have all tapped into his cosmic awareness. Characters who master the Meta-Force are able to transfer their consciousness into different comic book companies' universes (Marvel, Image, Hellboy, etc.).
Ambush Bug is the master and main avatar of the Meta-Force (In the same way The Flash is the master of the speed force).
The main abilities of this force should be: Breaking the Fourth wall, astral projection, interdimensional teleportation, multiversal incursions, and event-comic causing.
(This is also a great way to get Grant Morrison to write for Ambush Bug, and to cause a new Multiversal crossover event for Marvel and DC).
The colossal force would apply to changing form mass and flexibility like plastic man, giganta, etc

I wish the other forces would have stuck with the "starting with S" tradition. Though the two you mention might be outside of the other ones, maybe just coincidental naming.
Other forces I would integrate would be the Stretch Force, which embodies the elasticity of objects. An avatar of the Stretch Force would be able to stretch themselves to a whatever extent the writers need them too.
Another one I came up with is the Signal Force, or what I think a better name would be: the Sine Force (because of sine waves). A... Sinester I guess, could manipulate and create wavelengths of all different kinds. This would allow them to make everything from sounds at any pitch to radiation at any intensity to light with any colour. This power could have some pretty cool usages in the right hands.
And since there is the Negative Speed Force, which still basically gives speed, a Negative Strength, Still and Sage force isn't too farfetched.

Well, looks like the current Flash season is taking on this storyline in some forms as the avatar of the strength force already made her and appearance and there was a villain using a power akin to the sage force soon after her. The Speed force also claimed they both attack it so these beings are clearly accessing power on that kind of level. I would love for another video taking on these forces in greater depth now that some time has pass and these plot points are being used again.

I think a cool force to add is the "Aggro Force:. Think of it like being a tank where you become the center of attention and must have to fight every/any one who stand in your line of site.

If I could come up with a force I would choose the emotion force. It would be the opposite of the sage force (since emotions and intellegence are opposites, in a way) and it would control the emotions and senses of all life (make people feel an emotion, sense what people are feeling, create illusion associated with an emotion etc.). It would probably be related to the lanterns.
The use of the strength force should be named *The Gym Bro* and the Sage five user should be called *The Therapist.*
