A thing I know about Kraven The Hunter is, him and The Chameleon are brother's. As well as him taking his own life due to, not finding a worthy game to hunt and feeling that nothing brought a challenge to him. That's pretty much all I know about Kraven! Good thing Variant Comics, will help me in regards to, how he got his powers!
Personally, I know Kraven mostly from Spider-Man: The Animated Series, where he was portrayed as a nuanced antagonist, with a fantastic performance from the awesome Gregg Berger.

I think it would be cool if Marvel tied Kraven’s secret potion that he stole from an African witch doctor to the heart shaped herb from Wakanda somehow. Like maybe the herb was stolen from Wakanda long ago by another tribe but they weren’t able to plant it in their tribe to grow more cause the heart shaped herb needs vibranium in the soil to grow and vibrainium only resides in Wakanda. So they had to find some other way to grow and reproduce the heart shaped herb. They were eventually able to cross pollinate the heart shaped herb with some local fauna to enable the HSH to grow in the local environment without the presence of vibranium, but this resulted in the effect of the hybrid HSH to only be temporary. The potion created from this new hybrid HSH had to be taken continuously, otherwise, the superhuman effects would fade away. It was also more poisonous and had a higher chance of killing those would took it, if they weren’t mentally tough and resolute in their reason for taking the herb. And even if they did survive the initial ordeal, there was still a high probability that their personality would be altered, making them more violent even to the point where it drove some of them crazy, ramping up their blood lust and causing them to kill everything within their vicinity. Because of this, it was forbidden by the tribe cause the risks were too high. It became a close guarded secret and the witch doctors of that tribe were were entrusted as the protectors of this secret and it was passed down from generation to generation.

His heightened senses and abilities are cool But his knowledge of jungle poisons is underrated He once shot a blowdart at Spidey, who thought he was clever to catch it, until Kraven explained the toxin seeped through his gloves My favourite thing about him is his sense of honour, it makes him different to a lot of other villains His encounter with Black Panther is a great example of this
