- well i had this intake to mill off for a 6.7 cummins build we are doing so i figured i might as well do up a quick video doing it for you guys want to see the intake is like a hellman style pretty easy to do, well with the tools anyways
Today I helped a guy put a starter in his 93 extended cab 4x4 that he wasn't driving and he sold it to someone for $1800. The truck has been sitting for at least 2 years and he touched the key and it fired up. This is going to bug me for a long while 😭
first time watchin your channel i really enjoyed it definitely subscribing
Thanks man. Try to do my best
Nice. I enjoyed seeing how you do things. Gives a guy perspective on why things cost what they do. Nice looking intake though
I do my best to
I like how you cut right to the chase Rob(pun intended). Why did you cut off intake instead of using the BD Diesel competition intake horn? Different plenum bolt pattern than common rail I'd assume. Great video Rob
This is my next move for a 12 valve head. Nice job!!!
Where do you get the dimmensions for the bolt holes
how do you not break taps when you use machines vs a tap socket and ratchet? or are they not your average tap and die sets.
👍👍 thank you for sharing with us👍👊
Thanke you MrRob ❤❤❤❤
That was cool. What it all takes to do it.
!!!
I think I know but does this benefit a street truck? Are there downsides to doing it? Thanks.
I would say below 3000 rpm you can get a ported head to do all it’s going to do with the shelf still on. If you want a 4K+rpm performer then more can be had by getting access with the shelf off.
It is time some made a runner style manifold like used on gasoline engines. There is torque to be made
They already exist.
