I got an ENORMOUS begonia maculata at Lowes today, truly massive. They had some amazing plants and were unloading a new shipment as I was there. I also found a monstera peru hidden among the other plants, it was a bit sparse but on clearance! I'll give it some love and it will be amazing

My daughter told me someone sounded the alarm for Thai Constellation Monsteras at a large Tx grocery chain in the DFW area. The lady never posted how much they were selling them for but there must’ve been at least 10-12 plants that were shown….Sigh….
Last year on a trip to Lowe’s, one of the workers told me she’d give me an aloe plant if I could rescue it…I took it and it’s doing very well! 😄
I found a Lemon Lime Maranta today. I’ve seen red maranta, but not many Lemon lime so was excited to scoop that up!
I also recently found a Manjula. It was in a planter with 2 other plants, but I split it up. It’s a baby, but I have been looking and looking and was excited to find it at Walmart.
Here in Maine we never get the variety of plants you have in NC,so jealous 😊.Love watching!

I found the Manjula Pothos in May at Lowe’s. Didn’t know they were hard to find when I got them. Love the colors & the wavy leaves.

Yesterday went to home Depot and found amazing sales...I finally found a good healthy string of turtles for $12.47 a bb d they had the lemon mirangue pothos that was just under $20 however didn't purchase instead I found on the floor under stand 2 very weak leaves in bad need of water and each had a growth point so I rescued them as we have had a drought hopefully they will get better the leaves still look defeated but we have our fingers crossed. They also had six packs of tomatoe plants about 12 inches tall for 2.99 and bell p we poers the same. I'm so far behind in poop wanting I was very thankful to h as ve them.
I put my domino cactus out in the sun and heat, and it gave me the most beautiful bloom! They bloom only lasts a day, but is gorgeous. Mine seems to be working on two more 😊
My father bought me an Alocasia Pink Dragon as a late birthday present. Just received it! She's so gorgeous. Now I'm just trying to pick a good name for her

The Home Depot in your area has SO many more plants than the Home Depot stores in my area. I do love Lowe’s, though! It’s always a treasure hunt looking at plants in Lowe’s. 😀

I usually look at the clearance section first to get an idea of what to pick up if I don't see anything in the houseplant section. I found a ruby ficus , a croton and many others ( those were the most recent from lowes) Last weekend I went to check them out again and I got 2 of the smaller plants for $6.98 one was a tiny sanseveria that had 2 types in the pot ( the finger looking one and a flat oneI don't know their names) The other one I got was an aloe , the one that spits out vines like a spider plant and grows a baby aloe , I think it's a walking one. I saw him and snatched it up quick ! I love your little haul , you can get some amazing things for less if you know where to shop ! I won't be doing any nursery shopping this weekend but I may go for a walk around one our parks and see what's growing and blooming after all this rain we've been getting.

Saw one of those domino cacti with what looked like a very hairy arm growing out of it. I’m assuming it’s the bloom (but wasn’t open yet). But boy was it FREAKY looking. I took a picture bcs I was just so surprised and uncomfortable at the same time 😂

I bought 4 chameleons Memorial weekend. I kept 2 and gave my brother 2 . We both repot it the same day, why do the overwater them when shipping. I got them fresh out of the box at Walmart. Both of the plant have root rots after a few days. Now I’m barely have less than one pot left. And it’s slowly dying away. Anybody have trouble with chameleon plant. My brother and I are going on our 3rd pot and giving up on them.
