I would love for you to elaborate on how you grew up in the Caribbean and then how you ended up back in the States! Military? Oh to grow up in Saint Martin or any island, can’t imagine!!!
So fun! Love thrifting for plant items. I like using plates and shallow bowls to go under plants and protect furniture. The cabbage Bordello Pinheiro bowl is a wonderful find! There are so many collectors of their dinnerware...and 1.99 is an excellent price! ☺️
I use saucers and old plates under pots. Also, the flatter pasta bowls are great under pots. And I keep my eyes open for candle holders to set plants on.
Lovely plants. Went to my local thrift store today and bought several goodies. Inspired by you. All plant related of course including a beautiful copper cup that I’m using as a cover pot. Loved your haul as usual. Thank you for taking us along.
Hi Ashley! I am not a coral expert but I am a bead expert of sorts. I have blue coral beads, and have seen them often. The color is natural and I think that is what you have. I believe the color on that is natural.
Awesome finds at the thrift store!!! Love 💘 the new plant addition! I bought a Cebu Blue a couple of months ago absolutely love! Would you recommend a pole or just let it vine?
Hi Ashley, thanks for the great shopping trip, love your haul, not sure what peace lily that was, but you might want to put the Peace Lily Jessica on your be on the lookout list. She is beautiful and beyond variegated leaves. I have one she is in a 4-inch pot, and I love her!!
Love the blue coral, that is it's natural colour. Its probably been around a while though, I don't think it's legal to collect it from the wild anymore.
I love coral too and have some of the one you found. It's called blue staghorn coral was what I was told. Great find as it's a big piece. It's illegal for them to bring coral into the country for about 10 years now so it's getting harder to find.
Hi Ashley, love this combo plant and thrift shopping video! Thank you. I have a large piece of blue coral that is very similar to the one you picked up. I’ve had it for years.😊. Love their structural look with their natural blue color. I have mine placed by my tall dark green Sansevieria. Loved seeing all the beautiful plants at Pike’s. This is the location I go to and it’s my happy place for sure! Take care. 👌🪴🥰
There are a couple new varieties of peace lilies that have/are coming out. One is the Jet Diamond released by Costa Farms and the other is a Disco which has wider leaves that are smooth other than the typical veining and pillowy-ness of a peace lily.
No Pikes in my area, boy I sure wish there was. I'd be in there all the time. Found a Alocasia Lauterbachiana and one called Melo both at Home Depot and both very robust! I snapped them up they are now planted, sitting on humidity trays, and waiting for spring. Great video Ashley!
Idk what it is about the Domino's! I got one and it is more textured like you said and it started putting out pups around the base and I separated them some are more textured and some are almost completely smooth, but they all came from just one mother plant ! All that to say I think it's all one variety but there's a lot of *variety* in that variety 😂😂💕
My fuzzy petiole is down to a one leaf (unfurled) cutting because it was RAVAGED by spider mites. The nursery where I bought it from was selling it with the infestation (and I was unaware) and when I went back, there were still plants covered in them. Needles to say, never going back to that nursery.
I just came home from Walmart in Toronto Canada and bought one of the weeping willows for $21 Canadian dollars… same size I am in shock at the $40 price at your store, I’m usually wishing I could find plants cheap like in your videos!

Because of your videos I am spending more time in the thrift shops and finding amazing deals on pots and glass! Erika
I love the idea of rescuing the prop vessels from the thrift store and giving it away. 💖🪴🫙
Your Goodwill stores are usually exceptional and thrift priced. This time it looks like my stores here...overpriced.
That blush glass cover pot is a dream! Great find. Love your videos.

I find hoya curtisii fairly easy to care for. I water it once every 10ish days. Mine has even starting to grow for me.
From Portugal here! Bordallo Pinheiro is a very nice quality expensive brand so that's a great find! 🥰
I have one of the smoother variegated peace lilies. Mine was labelled up as Spathiphyllum diamond. Such a beautiful plant!
Always love your tour 😍
Ashley, going to Big Bloomers today so excited!
U got good stuff like the coral beautiful plant thank u for ur 🎥
Great finds! The prices here are ridic too. So sad. Should we still call it thrifting if you can find brand new items for almost the same price?
I’ll have to check my area for a Pike’s nursery since I’m in Georgia. Nice haul
Plants 🪴🪴🪴🪴👌🏻✅✅✅🙋🏻♀️💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚Fun day 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I had a Peace Lily the was very like the Domino but it was labelled 'Diamond' there seems to be a lot of different variegates 🌱
Love what you bought. I would have picked up the dolphin paperweight too!!
I love the coral. I am a Caribbean girl too🇯🇲.
You could have used the glass fish plates under some small pots.
Watching you is how find plants stores in Charlotte
Girl our goodwill is insane you would freak out how they price stuff there it makes me so made
I totally would’ve got that vegetables vase/cover pot
I saw you miss the ice cream cones and I thought Nooooooo! Ha ha, I'm so glad you got them :)
I'll be moving to North Carolina and I will be able to go to the stores you talk about.

Those are spider mite magnets, I have lost 3 of them to spider mites. It's so sad because they are beautiful plants.
I put my peace lilies in those African violet pots or are they cared azalea pots? Anyway, it works great!
St Marten? So interesting!
I love agleonemas, but you never mention them. Today you showed a couple, glad to see them. Maybe more?

I almost bought one but I found out their pollen can be a major allergen.
I found big pot of glorious philodendron for $30 at HD today! Is that a good price?
Yes!! Especially for a big pot.
What are coffee plants?????
Where did you get your cute cactus hat?? 😮
Salix caprea at Meyer
Yo I like your hat!!

I feel like resellers have caused the price of thrift stores to go up.
