Do the rat experiment in the opposite order. Take the key first, then talk. Then take the gold. Then take the malachite. See what happens then. The dialogue triggers when the chest is empty, not when individual items are taken out.
Do you remember Roah Moonglow ? The Zhentarim trader in goblin camp. You met her again , in act 2. but also in act 3! When you find Minsk in the sewer. As soon the fight start she attempt to flee. If you stop her, you find the Zhentarim Chest on her. The same one related to quest in act 1, as i helped Rugan , it had the iron flask inside.
There used to be a soul coin in that chest, that's why there's a book about them next to it. I guess at some point it was removed. The evil thing is gone because the chest is empty, not because you removed the key. If you were to remove the key before everything else I imagine he'd still react like it was still in there.
The fast travel trick is easier if you use improvised melee weapon, rather than throw. If you click far enough away, you can get probably 10 seconds to fast travel.
the rat simply chipped his tooth on the key because it was too hard to be bitten, nothing evil or mysterious about that and voice actors voicing multiple characters is nothing new smh
In booaaal’s layer, there’s a jump path around the top layer at the back middle of the cave that leads to treasure. I didn’t know this u til like my 5th time through.
I found that on my first playthrough and wasn't really adapt at using the different ways to teleport and jump, so it took me foreeeever to get over there.
A good mention would have been the hidden chest that is opened by the shiny key from the birds nest. Chest is located on stone pillar closest to the garden with all the herbs etc autumncromnus, mugwort. Summon mage hand atop the pillar then get behind it and shove it forward to fling it to the ground in front of the lady with the potions table.
You can also get there from above, there's a carriage near the trader when you enter the hollow, if you go to the ledge near it you can jump down to the chest
what works with sassa also works with some other NPCs, even better is polymorph will trigger this too. I used polymorph on the lady you find in the act 3 jail if you save her in act 1. she thanked me and ran out faster then volo catching you steeling from him without her agroing anything or alerting the guards
My second playthrough was as a druid and I had just discovered Kaghas chest by myself, did the questline and got the Pale Oak. It gives you a specific dialogue option when being ensnared by Jaheira at Last Light Inn. It doesn't prevent you from being ensnared however like the tooltip says, but it would be quite cool for them to change the scene to where if you've recieved the Pale Oak you can show her that by just walking through her vines
i have a question to point 1. did you try change up the loot order to see if the comment of the rat changes or its a general comment when the chest is empty?
The sassa trick is pretty cool....i mean im a bit over the 1000s of exploits in this game but it is a handy way to avoid being cuaght with her in the tunnel if your on a positive run and revive the druid
As for things that I see and tested Orin kidnap can still be prevented for the companion if you got them all in party when you meet Orin in the severs. But becasue you can now both Halsin and Minthara in the party if you knock out 2nd one in goblin camp. Must test it but mine logic is this if you got in team 3 of potencial kidnapped teammates (Halsin, Leazel, Gale or Minthara) and the 4th one is dead in the moment of meating Orin in the severs she should kidnap the Yenna. If you want you can test it because I dont have save with that kind of team because I was doing honor mode. As for easier Iron Throne with Duke Ravenguard I discovered if in Underdark you give noblestalk to the dwarfs you can then buy it 3 of it in their apothecary that is on opposide side of Sorcerous Sundries. If you drop it when you got control of the Duke you can press right mouse button and order him to eat it. This heals him fully so he got chance to surviwe those fire spiders but also takes of this special debuff and he wont just fall to his knees when Mizora will show up, so he can just run from spiders. Also in iron throne the enemies goes only from flooded part of the Throne. There is a lever that can close this part so their backup is none. This is usefull because when you safe 2 of prisoners there you can run with them and pull the lever to close it or use for example magic missle on the lever to close is and you go for Omeluum if he is still alive (Society of Brilliance is alive ONLY if you dont give the Gith egg to the Esther. Becasue they do their testing Gith from it butchers them all) and Omeluum got power that can be used to teleport one partymember and him to the submarine. Also all his shop items are in container next to him so if in act 1 you sold many thing for him you can take them and sell and becasue he can teleport you, you dont have to worry about not making to the submarine with this member. Also you can still control him so if you want he can just go again to Iron throne and use his teleportacion to safe others.
@@GAMOTALK Be mine quest. As for the things in Iron Throne Im sure of it because I did them in 2 of mine diffrent playthroughts. Curius thing. On the 1st test our dear mind flayer was Heavily Encumbered because I sold to him many heavy non magical armors I bet thats the reason why in patch 5 (2nd test) his items are in container so you can make sure he escapes. Edit: Also Eldrich Blast and Magic Missle are very usefull because you can use then to open many doors in one way. Just target the levers. This can spare you so much time and If you combine it with speed potions 1 action can be used on levers and 2nd on the guard. I also can talk about what I call "Long rest camp spells" If you wanna now about that I can little trick that I used
@@Tazazak I call it that but its simple trick. As you know some spells are last only few rounds but some last until long rest. I used this info to mine advantage. For example simple spell like Longstrider maybe only give you +3m of movement but lets be honest sometimes you just need those little buff. Some character got this spell for example druids. So after long rest I take the one and cast it on all mine party members in the camp. Another spell worth of use is Gale's Mage Armor. On the start of the day he can just walk around and cast it on partymembers without armor like Wyll with Infernal Robe, Karlach or on you. There are few spells that last to long rest and the best of it is lv6 Heroes Feast that's owned by clerics and druids. Its AoE spell so you order wright characters to move around in your camp this spell can affect all your party members so if you need switch party members they all still got buff. And later If you got Spellcrux Amulet from Moonrise Tower Jail you can use it to cast Aid and the restore your spell slot. The higher the better, for example lvl6 Aid gives all your partymembers +30hp until long rest. That's a few good examples I remember and I think are worth of using but If you remember another spell that last to long rest and doesnt need concetracion then ask yourself "How can I use it to the max advantage?" :)
You finish the Kagha quest by talking to Zevlor after you've killed her. You also get the pale oak staff (only as druid) if you kill Kagha during the druid fight + her necklace (which is very very nice for Astarion)
Wyll's VA *also* voices Bernard. :) they all do all kinds of smaller talking parts for random civilians and npcs. Cazador, Beldron and Commander Lightfeather are also the same actor :)
I've just done Pandira and in my game she's alive and left the grove. What I did was sneak in the back of the shack minding the mushrooms that blow you up. only my druid mc jumped in there and decieved her by saying I was in charge now. I asked about her legs and she told me about a potion she had drunk, wont spoil it but used lesser restoration on her she got but stayed in the shack. Because I had deceived I could loot the shack and help the rat. After I left the shack all the items on an old woman's stall spoiler so won't say who were free also free to loot.
Whaaaaat do you remember if there was any good loot in the shack? Or mostly randomized stuff? Also all of the old women’s stuff is free to take if you’ve already done her quest

if you are a druid and kill Kagha you can still the the staff from Rath when you talk to him so a 2 for 1 deal as a druid
I lost Rath as well in a playthrough and got it from Nettie. As long as you're a druid and someone is alive, you should be able to get it, I think.
