- Incredible - Norm Saunders - MARS ATTACKS - CIVIL WAR + BATTLE - Bubble Gum Cards
In today's video I'm joined by my friend And as we peruse some more of his fantastic bubble gum card collection. This time it's a Norm Saunders special as we take a look at three classic sets he worked on in the early 1960's for Topps, Civil War, Mars Attacks and Battle. We also look at the variant issues around the world as well as a couple of superb books.
I do hope you enjoy it!

Andys collection and info is tops . Yes and some Tops . 😁 . These cards were graphic in the depictions . Given the times , i am a bit supprise that they were not yanked out of the kids hand . Mayhaps they were more focus on comics . Eyes on you "Tales From The Crypt ' ( My opinion...i am not even too sure about the time line..) . Thank you gents for the bloody good show .
Thanks Sylvan, yes, I always learn so much when Andy brings his cards round. Glad you enjoyed it👍🙂
Wonderful video jules!
Thanks Clive, glad you enjoyed it👍
Ack Ack Baby !
What a great video Jules. Love it when you have Andy on. You have such interesting friends. 🥰
I've got a few videos of you guys I have to go back and watch but I will get to them. Everytime I see you guys together it takes me back to my shoebox of Beatles cards. Great memories.
God bless guys.
And Merry Christmas across the pond to y'all.
👍🥰🎄
Thanks Alvin! So pleased you enjoyed this one👍 Andy's collection is fantastic and I've had a blast filming it🙂 Do check the older videos, they're packed with info as well.
Wonderful video, i remember buying the original cards in 1962 at 10 years old, parents hated them, kids loved them!
Thanks Gary, yes, I wish I could have bought some at the time. It's Mars attacks is probably my favourite classic cars set of ever👍
Really enjoy the ‘94 ‘Mars Attacks!’ set.
Absolutely, they were great👍🙂
Personally I didn't like the movie and in fact walked out and got my money back (first and last time I have done that.). I loved the art on those card sets though!
Fair enough 👍
Wow! Another great video. What a collection!
Thanks Bob, Andy's collection is fantastic, great to share it on here👍
When I was kid everyone was collecting Garbage Pail Kids cards.
They were also fantastic, not sure if Andy has any though, I'll ask.👍
Norm Saunders has always been one of my favorite artists; great video. Fantastic card collection!
Thanks Mike, totally agree👍
Interesting to learn that the Spanish set of "Mars Attacks" did not include cards #11 and 19...which were the two that showed burned or burning humans (#19 especially graphic). Plenty of burning, gratuitous gore and bloodshed throughout, but those 2 were pulled for a specific reason. It's odd, because Spanish/Mexican films of the era were often more grotesque and gruesome than American films.
A good point! Never thought of that 👍
