Before I purchased the Festool Multitool I purchased a Ryobi and then later a M12 Milwaukee.
Speaking specifically about the Vecturo; it has a lot of additional components that offer creature comforts by comparison to those other brands.
It is expensive but it has been uniquely thought out.
I hope you enjoy yours if and when you decide to pick one up.
Thanks for checking out the video.

in this entire Oscillator demo. . . in its entirety .. THE BATTERY DOES NOT WORK or FIT with this tool?

      Valid point.
This is more of a simple unboxing.
If i remember correctly I completely this unboxing in the evening and I do not run power tools as a rule after 7pm to respect my neighbors.
Thanks for the reminder I will make a demo video.
Thanks for checking out this video.

Good video. I appreciate the thoroughness.
I was in the market for a new oscillating tool recently. Festool is too pricey of an oscillating tool for my needs. I mainly use an oscillating tool for exterior wood replacement.
That had me down to the m12 fuel, and the m18 fuel. I was worried the M12 might have me going through the batteries, and the M18 seemed bulkier than I really needed.
I opted to try the Flex which uses starlock, had a depth stop guide, and the surface guide rail, but no dust collection collar and no plunge attachment.
I'm not suggesting that the Flex is on the Festool level as the Vecturo is a very nice looking tool, and in typical Festool fashion is a well thought out tool.
Milwaukee does have a dust port collar, and a depth stop for the fuel line oscillating tool, but it's not included, and probably is a little work to get the part numbers for ordering them.
Anyway sweet tool and a great look at it without feeling hyped.

      Thanks. I appreciate the compliment.
I was unaware of a dust port collar and depth stop for the Milwaukee fuel oscillating tools. They should market those accessories better.
I have heard of Flex tools, but I have never even looked at one in person or on UA-cam. I figure I have already allowed too many brands into my life and probably don't have room for yet another tool line. LOL.

@@daddysharespace yeah the Milwaukee accessories are not well advertised. Iirc they are about $30 apiece.
The Flex seems pretty good so far. It has a similar battery placement to the Fein, Festool, Bosch, ect.
I do hear ya on the adding another battery platform stuff. On the work van I've now have DeWalt, Flex, Makita, and Milwaukee chargers. I do like not being trapped on one platform though.
The Vecturo does seem pretty nice. I believe Fein makes their oscillating tool, so I'd expect it to be nice. I just do not have any of the Festool battery tools. I tend to go mainstream for drills, impacts, ect.

Great overview! I have had the Fein corded unit for about 10 years now., but I think Festool has really improved this type of tool.
Question, how is the dust control?

Thanks for the compliment. I am going to fire it up and I will make a video comparing it to my other Multi tools to see if the hype is real.
