If its electric, can you plug in a long extension lead to the grid?
Never said electric. It has 2 generators but is set up to run on hydrogen

Instead of hydrogen or diesel, would it be possible to have a large swappable battery module instead? Then you could install a charger at the side at the field that can charge one battery module, while the other is used on the nexat, so that when the battery module runs low you can just swap to the charged battery module.
That battery would weight 50 tons

I calculate about 52tons: using LFP batteries (lithium iron phosphate), at full power, for 8 hours between swaps. Assuming 125wh/kg for the LFP battery pack.
Is 50 tons a lot?
How much does the nexat weigh?
If you swap every 2 hours the weight is 13 tons.
Is it reasonable to swap more often?
Nexat weights like 25 tons empty in the harvester configuration, so actually it's quite light for it's size. Anyways at this size swapping would just be too much. It would be just better to attach it to a grid with mobile poles, like soviets experimented.@@Jowbaka
