- The NEXAT System
The NEXAT System is a globally unique, holistic plant production system. The disruptive principle is simple: one for all - all for one. NEXAT combines all the application steps that previously required a wide variety of agricultural machinery into a single system.
NEXAT's innovative crop production system is based on Controlled Traffic Farming (CTF). The entire arable area is permanently divided into fixed driving and growing areas to reduce soil compaction to the driving area only. This protects the soil structure, improves water infiltration and water retention capacity, and protects against erosion. CTF is made possible by high-precision, satellite-based track guidance systems. Numerous studies have demonstrated the benefits to crop production, with increases in soil health and yields, as well as savings in production resources, as a result of switching to Controlled Traffic Farming.

The more I see it, the more I can appreciate it. It's way too big for most farms in my region, but I can see this succeeding elsewhere. A whole different way of thinking & working.

imagine the soil erosion as water runs down them wheelings every 14 mete across the field. imagine the reliability issues of having 1 combine with the componants of 2 so dole the chance of a brake down and doble the downtime. when a farm is running a nexat system what happens when the sexat gets stook or rakes down and the farm doesnt have another tractor to pull it out or tak over the job. whats the price of running 1 nexat and all the atachments for it ove a farm having 1 four track 300hp+ tractor with 12 mete disc and direct drill, an auger wagon, a 36 meter slurry tanker or umbilical system, a self propelled 36 meter sprayor and a 12 meter comine all set up for controle traffic farming. the wheelings will get coverd apart from the 36 meter sprayor ones and if the tractor brakes down you can easy get another that will work on all your implaments
1100hp electrodiesel doesnt get stuck that easy especially considering that the tracks would be basically narrow dirt tracks. Also the costs of running are actually cheaper aswell as costs of meere purchase because you have one chassis for all instead of buying it over and over again in each another machine.
Actually it protects the soil from COMPACTION which means from EROSION TOO. Do some research on this topic first.
