Bummer, the code still does not work. Did it ever work?
I like the Kepler bike better then the other bike u had
If you want comfort and better control over speed that yyg bike is better. But this speed for the price you can’t beat it
@@MrCentralDriversir. Where can I buy this bike. Is it that link pinned?
Awesome! Been waiting for this review for a while! Thanks Man!
Great review. The Kepler isn't perfect, but they give a lot for the money. I think AR concentrated mainly on a big motor, battery, and performance, and they did a great job. My Kepler also had paint chips in the exact area of the top tube. AR needs to totally cover that tube in shipping foam. I also had scratches on the front fender. Contacted AR and was told to make an insurance claim. It was denied. Unless you have serious damage, the insurance fee is a waste, but if you do have serious damage it's priceless.
Got to give AR credit. They gave me a $50 credit for the paint chips and sent me a complete new set of fenders even though only the front was damaged. I touched up the paint chip and then purchased a roll of black automotive stripe tape, cut it to match the decal on the bike and covered the chip. It's 99% unnoticeable.
Like I said the Kepler isn't perfect, but IMO it has a lot of features and values that other EBs can't compare with, and so far AR has stood behind their product.
Loved your very honest review and super entertaining too! I usually don’t watch this long videos till the end 😉
I appreciate that!
😁
The only time mine went 42 mph was on it's first full charge. Hit 39 mph a few times, but usually doesn't go over 38 mph now with the back basket, Cloud-9 seat & Redshift ShockStop Suspension Seatpost, & 8 lb chain lock & me weighing 224 lbs. I'm lucky to get 20 miles throttle only, but have gone 40 miles on a full charge & pedaling quite a bit. Have a little over 400 miles on mine now & am happy with my purchase.
Yours took forever to arrive, didn't it? I got lucky & got mine 2 months to the day after ordering.
Thanks for your review!
No problem
Great review dude 🤙
Great Review! I had a d class that was pretty awesome. I wouldn't complain to much about the classifications. I rather them classify as class 2 and just let me change a setting or (no restrictions at all) then to be stuck at class 2 and having to swap controllers. It's kind of just unspoken with customers and companies for now. Let not ruin that with callouts. Lol. Great work on your videos, keep up the great work.
I said i'm not complaining in the video i'm just saying haha
"{{3}}" sounds interesting! I just came across a new crowdfunding project for the Freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike. It seems to have some outstanding features, like the ability to charge the battery in indoor mode. This makes it a convenient option for fitness enthusiasts who want to combine indoor and outdoor cycling. The 750W motor and 80Nm torque also offer impressive power and speed. Plus, the puncture-resistant fat tires and IPX5 Waterproof finish make it suitable for various terrains and weather conditions. It's definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a versatile and technologically advanced e-bike!
Awesome review. Very well done and thorough. Thank you.
If you run the throttle hard on these the battery will go down quickly. Its a bicycle meant to be pedaled with the motor assisting, not a mini bike motorcycle that just goes.
I think 25 miles maxed out is what I get. You can turn the bike off then back on and see an accurate remaining %. I got 75 miles on it Set at 28 mph top speed and pedaling with PAS 1 thru 3 averaging 12 mph or so.. If you want to just put around and go far. The % drops fast after you see 99% yes.
I also had a decent gash on my Kepler except I purchased the shipping insurance and found out that it doesn't work for cosmetic damage. Because with the shipping insurance they use they just want to give you a brand new bike if there is an issue. Where as Ariel Rider only covers damage up to $100. They didn't have any touch up paint and put me on a wait list.... That was back in September 😭 I like the bike being large for visibility. I'm a 5'8 woman, 30in. Inseam and I don't have an issue riding it. I added a car horn/alarm and hated the headlight so I added light and just got a custom plug and play cobb headlight replacement. I'm thinking of selling my first ebike a Bee Cool Explorer and getting a Wicked Cruiser. It's like a 60v Kepler but a genuine step theu.
Thank u for taking the time and being honest in your opinion
Thanks for commenting
Yeah I'm 5'9" and have the seat up about 3 inches and just tippy toe at stops. That's how I like it to pedal . pretty much full extension on pedals and tippy toe on ground. And yes feet will clip the front fender if you don't remember to keep them a bit rear on the pedals.
which frame size did you get, I am 5'9" and thinking of ordering one. thanks.
I'm glad you liked some of the stuff on the Kepler. I admit it's not so premium.. I enjoy mine despite a few cheapo factors 👏😎 yes battery drops like a rock after 99% .. Turn it off then back on to see the real leftover battery capacity . I checked with a volt meter and it's pretty much 25% is 25% .. Should get 25 miles on full throttle.
I appreciate the honesty in this review.
I got mine in january after a 3 month wait and it had a shit ton of foam on it, black high step with no scratches, runs fantastic.
thats good. one of the lucky ones
why did you have to wait so long? I just ordered one a few days ago and it is expected to arrive in a couple days. After watching all the videos and reading the comments I was expecting to wait at least a month. What do you think is the difference?
@@rashadferrari3791 Covid was still a thing back then in China. Also that was when we had over a hundred cargo ships unable to offload piled up off California. So I basically blame Biden.
Great review! I've been seriously thinking about one of these to commute to work. The throttle and the size makes me hesitate a bit. That speed though! The price is pretty tempting too.
price and speed 100%
@MrCentraldriver
▪️
How much do they charge for a separate battery? Like that I could go on long trips.
🟥
I bought a Magicycle about 4-5 months before the Kepler came out. I had already upgraded my brakes to 203mm rotors and 4 puck calipers. And a few other utility items. So I wasn’t ready to buy a new bike. I wanted more range so I added a second battery and a polar bear battery combiner w the ability to add 2 more more batteries sometime in the future with a plan to add more range by putting a couple batteries in my trailer if I want to do a weekend camping trip or some longer travels. And today I received my latest toy that will eliminate all my Kepler envy. A 45 amp controller. I am going to take a couple days planning it’s install. If that doesn’t fulfill my expectations I may go to a 72v battery system. I also went to a set of Duro 3”x26” street tread tires. Which not only improved the overall range but it got rid of all that tire noise and made the handling very nimble and light in comparison.Keep up the great content.
Why magicycle and witch one. I can't decide on Aventon, Magicycle, Arial Rider.
@@Rippinsmallies Ride1up
Haha... I installed a CYC X1 Pro on my Magicycle.
Getting my Kepler soon thanks to your review 😂
I have the Himiway Cruiser which looks just like this bike. That being said I think the big selling points are the 1000 watt motor, 52v 20Ah battery and hydraulic disk brakes. Those 3 things are all bigger and better than my Himiway Cruiser and you get all that for just a couple hundred dollars more. I cant wait to test the Kepler!!! 40mph is nuts for a huge fat tire ebike.
Oh I love it!! I want one!!! But I do like the smaller ones also.
That bike moves quickly, not too bad.I would love that motor in a different bike
The motor and the controller, but with better tuning for the throttle
I’ve had mine for 6 months and agree with ya a 100% on everything you have said. Also have a problem with wobbling while using one hand or no hands, major wobbling like if I don’t grab bars I’m crashing.
I bought two high steps both were packed in lots of foam with no damage at all i love them. Its a perfect fit for me at 6'4"
Got lucky
@@MrCentralDriver when I seen your delivery guy carting it nose down i thought you might have problems....that's to bad
I got a low step September 12th, exactly 2 months to the day from ordering. Arrived flawless & has performed flawlessly since.
Had mine a year. Here’s what I think. First, mine came doa. Error message. They were helpful in telling me to check for a loose connection. When that didn’t work they promptly sent replacement parts. Fixing it was my problem. All in all unsatisfactory. Paid a guy to fix it for me.
Packaging was very good. The bike is very tall. I strongly suggest getting a drop post if you plan on pedaling. I’m 6 ft and with the seat up, I could barely touch the ground.
The bike itself is fast. A fully charged battery in pas 2 will take you a long way at around 20mph depending on terrain. I’m 76 and go mostly on greenways and trails. One problem with this is the size of the bike makes putting it on a rack very difficult. It’s mostly the length and weight make it difficult to get it on a rack. I’ve concluded that if I’m taking it any distance I’ll rent a small trailer.
Brakes are good and the ride is good except the tires are noisy like all knobby tires.
I bought the bike mostly be my old bike was insufficient for my hilly area. The Kepler may have been an overreaction.
All communication with customer service is my chat. Usually 24-48 hours for each back and forth but they were responsive. I had one other issue with fluctuating wattage readout on the monitor. They told me some complicated crap on fixing by putzing with the battery that I haven’t done.
Final comments: in the past year a lot more high wattage bikes have showed up for low prices. I’d look at them hard.
Do I like the Kepler? Yes, it moves down the road and the battery is good. Am I happy with the company? No. Poor qc and the customer has to do everything. The warranty also has some odd provisions about if you’re not nice they can void the warranty. Would I buy it again? Probably not and would at least check out current bikes real hard. Hope this helps somebody.
Thank you for this totally honest review. It really helped me with this terrible decision between so many bikes. I think it helped you bought the bike for the review and didn’t feel any pressure for a bias from a provided review bike. The speed is awesome but I can’t abide cheap things that feel cheap.
Oh forgot to say I TOTALLY Agree with you about Ebikes having a real time VOLT METER! I have an entry level 36v 500w bike and I was annoyed with the five bar battery charge guage. You don’t know exactly where you are. My fix? I bought an inexpensive digital volt meter that’s designed to be face mounted in a case. I made a little bracket for it and attached it under my display. There’s a momentary on button. I press it and I see my real time voltage and it’s LED display so easy to see at night. On a 36 volt system full charge reads 42 volts. The 1/2 point is 36 volts. It’s very accurate way of finding out your range! If say I went 16 miles and I’m down to 36volt I know I can go about another 16 miles before bike cuts off. Of course all things equal. I can’t use PAS 3 and go 16 miles and then think I’m going to go another 16 miles at max assist PAS 5. Has to be consistent style of riding,’pedaling not pedaling etc both ways (1/2 way point then back home)
I had big dings in the same spots which are noticeable to me and front rotor had a big warp which i was able to straighten out. The outer box did not have one dent or scratch. I wonder if china sends them to AR and they rebox it maybe? The big top tube chips had to be from the handlebars moving around in shipping. They were all ziptied down many times but still able to flop around. My front axel plastic plate was also broke. I was going to send it back because for brand new and 2k you expect it to be perfect but waiting the 3months for bike made me not want to wait another 3 months and warm seasons are short enough upstate ny. But other then those small things I am very happy with the bike and performance. Still makes me smile every time.
I got my gears going good just using the barrel connector. I think people will like the Kepler if it's their first e-Bike and are on a budget. It's cheap.. But it's ok fun for sub 2k. Just be 5'7" or taller 😁
I agree on that
Great review and I get the numbers with the speed, I notice the colder it is the faster the battery drops but I seldom go farther than 25 miles a trip wide open mostly so it works for me. I'm thinking of mounting a second battery below the one that came with it, I have a low bar and measured it would look like a battery sandwich for more range. Like you said I swapped out the seat for a cloud 9, Arclight pedals, AR front rack & Pannier trunk bag with roll up saddle bags and the phone bag up front holds the battery packs for two Bright Eyes headlights and like you mentioned I have on order a set of directionals front and back the ppl can see, I am very happy with the best bang for the buck and its heavy and beefy for city streets. After 600 miles new pads & tires are on order, Any thoughts on HEB Allscape tires?
That happens with electric cars too.
They could add a full suspension.. A bit better lighting set up.. Maybe more mods in an upgraded display. A $2,500 price tag though.. To be a good version
3.. Maybe an inch or 2 smaller frame .
Would be interesting to see a Step through 😁
they do have a step thru design. id say better throttle curve adjustments, a bit lower to the ground to help shorter people (seat can always be adjustable higher) and rear suspension. A rear brake light with separate turn signals would be nice. i didn't have a problem with the stock light
Hey man if you could could you try upgrading a (Michel blast greaser) I have one of those and wanting to upgrade but haven’t found anything on how to if you could that would be great keep up the good videos bro
You are a great reviewer
I got the black low step. No problem. I did buy the insurance but I don’t think it’s necessary. Bike was very well packaged.
You sold me on this bike, I care more about quality brakes, battery, motor, frame, controller, and screen than anything else. Upgrade the front fork, derailleur, fenders and lights and you’ve got a REALLY nice piece of kit, and the stock stuff will do to start out with. This is an e bike worth dumping some money into, which is really cool. Feels pretty future proof!
Thank you for your fair and honest review, too bad other UA-camrs aren’t as forthright as you. 😊
Thanks for the video..
Welcome!
I'm 6'2 270 lb I bought the Kepler for exercise I keep the speed turn down with 9 pedal assist I get to Pedal a lot the bike is perfect for my exercise program. After about 70 miles I noticed the freewheel had some irregularities, I complained they replaced it almost immediately. The bike came in perfect shape no dings no dents no scratches I have almost 400 miles on the bike now and have had absolutely no problems I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for a large frame bicycle.
your top speed?
My rule of thumb is if you're an aggressive rider, you can expect to get 1 mile for every amp hour. I have 3 pev's( 2 bikes and 1 scooter) and this is pretty accurate for all 3. I get about 25 miles on my Kepler when I go throttle only.
That’s more than one mile per AH. That’s a good way to look at it so you can guarantee you’re never going to be stranded but it’s really hard to base it off that information because some bikes out there are 36 V to 72v and they range anywhere from 50 pounds to 150pounds and a lot of controllers have low 15 A and as high as 100amps. And you also have to think of the riders weight as well with people weighing 125 pounds up to 350 pounds. But you’re not wrong for going off that information it’s just not super accurate.
Between 25-30 miles is what I typically get out of mine too, throttle only
@@MrCentralDriver I totally understand all your points, especially the not getting stranded part. That's why I go with round numbers 😂. 20 amp hour battery=20 miles in my head. I'm 6'1" 260 lbs, so I'm probably worse case scenario. Someone smaller will get a little more range. I just think when folks are asking about range it's super important to give them a realistic expectation, unlike what the websites say. I didn't buy this bike, or my X class, or my wolf warrior to go 15mph😁😁😁😁. I pin the throttle down every time I ride!
I added a second 52V 20ah battery and in throttle only i average 55 miles running it hard and stopping at 20% battery power. I'm 6'4" 265 lbs
The formula I use that works very well on most bike is your battery in Wh divided by 24w (full power) = your range in km. Its around 12w if you pedal going 20 mph. This bike in theory can give 27 miles which is very close of what you get
Have they made any improvements on the bike since several reviews have come out?
It would be great if you could review the Wired Freedom. Very similar bike and would love to get your input on this bike to see how it compares to the Ariel.
Do you feel like the handlebars are too far forward? Are you reaching too much?. I was hoping the handlebars are more like BMX style, to give it more of a cruiser feel.
Noted!
I got mine like 2 weeks ago and I love it but I did pay for the protection and take it to a bike shop to get assemble
Is the gearing like most ebikes where you can't pedal and help the bike above 15mph? Ghost pedaling? Also it's good to use your phone GPS to test the ebike displays speed and odo accuracy. And with most bike seats, discomfort is usually more from the seat being too low than the design or padding. Ideal saddle height is to where you're almost on your tippy toes when you stop. The higher up you are the better the weight distribution. A low seat means all your weight is coming down on it. Try to get in more of a horizontal position. Thats one of the big perks of a full size ebike. Can't adjust the seat height on my lil ariel grizzly clone.
I got the kepler as i preferred the look of a normal bike and wanted to pedal, which seems a bit harder on the moped styles. It's big, bigger then i thought but manageable. I do have a gearing is issue in that 1st slipps and 2nd feela odd. I have not touched a bike in 15 years so i am taking it too a shop and have them look at it. I will also say i love it so far and think i might end up catching a bug haha.
I have no problems with the kelper. It is a faster than the super73. I got 35 miles on a full charge.
damn thats alot!
I have read to many similar reports . Terrible warranty claims and finding ways out of it so i decided to stay clear of Ariel rider. Shipping insurance? I about laughed when i first heard that. (Never heard of that with the other companies) should always be responsible up to the point a product gets to your door. Your scratches and chips have nothing to do with shipping and its easy to see that. They did not send the right touch up paint and cannot even at least send that? This is just one of many of reports of there customer service concerning warranty that keeps me away from Ariel Rider for good. Does not matter how good a product is. Without excellent customer service a product of any kind is never worth it. To many companies cannot comprehend this very simple thing. When a company goes so far as to not even protect the item from damage with enough foam material to save that extra dime. That says it all
But as always your videos are great to watch. Subscribed and looking forward to the next one.
How much pedalling did you do? I hear the battery percentage dropping quick on your ride home, just curious if it was all throttle or mixture of throttle and pedal. I'm looking for something i can pedal and use throttle when I'm and don't feel like pedalling 😂
No pedaling. Cold weather effects battery a lot as well
Nice review. Wow 41 mph...you must be light lol. I'll buy it from ya...Looks like a tank.
hit me up on instagram
Iil trick i learned with the blinkers is they'll work even with the break light and headlight off so the break light won't be on so when the blinkers are going you can see them alot easier
The battery meter is semi adaptive i think on default its definitely inaccurate i think
thanks for the info. I think using the turn signals during the day without the brake light would still be very hard for people to notice.
It feels kinda cheap to reflect the price. Most of those cheap parts are stuff that most people are gonna replace anyways. Who has that pricepoint that can match the performance? Great review. 👍
It has what most $1500 bikes have.. Yes. But extra battery and speed for the other $300 😂
@@kevinnashskitchen3517 last year I bought a 500 watt 17.6 battery. Mechanical brakes. Foldable. It was ok except for the brakes and lack of torque for hills. This is a much better deal.
Wired Freedom is $2,000 60v 20ah full suspension, hydro brakes.
Mine came in one box and I did not have issues. The only complaint I have is the pin connector for the display (you point out in the video) is fragile and can break, which mine did. Thank God I was able to repair it or else.... The Pins in the connector are tiny.
These bikes where constantly sold out last year so I purchased the Ride 1up 7 series. I wanted that size and speed as I'm 6'3 240. Oh well.
Same here.
I’m about to replace my ride1up 700 with this AR. I’m a big speed fan 😊
I enjoyed your honest review. Your coworkers seem like they are great people to work with. I am a 5’8 female and I am torn between the this one with the step through frame and the Senada Herald. This bicycle does have more power and has hydraulic brakes. And the display is nicer. But it seems like the battery life on this bike is not that great. I am still trying to make up my mind.
you should have no problem getting on it. im 5'9. but if you have back problems which i'm getting to that age. id say the step thru but it does not look as nice.
@@MrCentralDriver Thank you.
I just wonder with all the bikes given and then haven to pay for Kepler there might be a little bias - all the Free ebikes You Review seem to be way less qualified yet get such great reviews - Remembering All You Get For $1799. 😮
... Dude Still Enjoy All Your Reviews ... 🤪
hard to explain but i had a guy come and ride the troxus explorer and at the time it was 1400 on a huge sale. and he rode the kepler as well. he didnt no which one he wanted to buy until he came back to me. he said wow the kepler feels cheap and clunky and pedaling is nowhere near the troxus quality. he said the only thing it has going for it is its super fast. He ended up buying both and he almost completely passed on buying the kepler until i knocked the price down to 1000. you get alot and i get it. but the quality of parts is not it at the end of the day.
My brakes did that as well. You just need to bed your brakes and you'll be fine. Completely normal.
I didn't put it in the video but i actually took the bike for a 2-3 mile ride and did some heavy braking. i then took the bike to work and home but scraped the video because i didn't like it and did it all again so it had for sure 24-26miles on the brakes before showing it.
@@MrCentralDriver damn. You’ll get better mileage after a couple charge cycles too. More power too.
So I'm watching this with my dog in the room and her ears are perked up and I realize that she's listening to your motor whine, I have a Grizzly and she runs along side me. Anyway, I see it on CL, I'm north of you, I just might :)

I want to buy your Ariel Kepler. How much? Do you ship (Galena, Illinois) or do I pick it up?
It’s been sold
Whenever you go to sell it can you let me know. I am trying to get one to pull my son on rides? If not that's fine. Good review!
Hit me up on Instagram
I think you meant to say it's inexpensive and fast... but you got it right.
Thanks for upfront review. The customer support you got stinks and reason for me to not buy. Also cheap items like the fender and hand grips are so easy to fix for the manufacturer seems to me to be a no brainer. I would consider a used one at around $1000. Not paying $1800 plus tax for defects and short cuts on components.
I feel like sometimes they resell used/returned bikes because my bike didn’t have the plastic over the speedometer screen and I had a issue with my controller. Exactly that’s how they put it in the box
how does it feel with that riser stem on it? Seems weird I would put BMX bars on it
Bars feel fine
Informative. Do you have the new content you suggested was coming regarding a daytime ride to and from work? I'm considering a Kepler. Personally, I believe folks are expecting way too much out of this quickly escalating tech .. motor, battery, controller. If I got it right, you had over 50% at the end of this ride in the cold with lights burning and numerous output variations. Hoping for the ride to work video. And .. well done. Good vid.
Yeah it’s in my channel I have more videos then this 1
Hey great review. Did you sell the bike yet?
Long ago
I only see around 1,300W max on my Kepler just curious what is the max wattage your getting on your Kepler?
I believe AR has the controller limited to around 25A but I would have to say I'm still impressed with how fast/ strong it is for only pulling 1,300W maybe it's because of its 1,000W motor vs bikes like magicycle and others using the 750W motor
Mine hits 1420 watts every so often, but generally stays around 1340-1360.
Mine is also around 1300
i need to see mine
🐍 The highest power draw is under the highest load, usually from a standstill headed uphill. The second the wheel turns the peak draw drops. HEAVY riders draw more power than lighter riders. 🖖🤙
@@MrCentralDriver push the info button. The second screen gives you details
when you get the bike and have display like that you need to tell display what size tire you have. so can adjust to how far you gone in miles.
I review the bikes exactly how they get shipped other than unlocking the speed limiter. Companies should be adjusting them correctly before sending them to customers. Yes we can adjust it but we shouldn’t have to unless we changed the tires to something else.
Really good review... still comes across as a good bike for the money. We need more "real" reviews for ebikes like this. Most of these youtube reviewers are paid to promote a bike....not just getting them for free. Worst and most obvious was the Velotric Discover 2. The reviewers push this thing so hard with a positive twist. Velotric has A LOT of sad customers and Velotric hides negative reviews on their website and I found my negative comments get deleted from the reviewer videos. Most common is controller failure....went to look at bikes and the sales person said they have a Velotric Discover 2 in the back. It cant be on the floor because of "issues". It's a controller issue. Also learned bike companies are really struggling and the fight is real between them. Even a fairly good company like Aventon has a dark side. They are destroying others by selling darn close to cost just to sink competition. They can and will, with China funding. It's a small price for domination.
Thanks I try my best as a reviewer to make good content and honest content at that without pissing the company off that is basically paying me to review the product
@@MrCentralDriver lol
I’m think about getting this bike or the grizzly but don’t know which. Any suggestions?
What Choice did you make?
The Wired Freedom looks like serious competition
The 28" wheel diameter is about right for 26x4 fat tires, that's what I use on my bike for the most accurate speedo.
Can a passenger ride on the back rack? Is there a seat option for it?
doesn't support that much weight on the rear rack
It seems like your paying for the motor the controller and the battery? If the rest of the bike was high quality, it would be a lot more expensive than it is?
You're not getting the true range and reporting from the battery because you haven't balanced the cells in the battery.
It will take 3-4 full slow charges (with some use to bring it down a quarter or so each time) to fully balance the individual cells in the battery.
Google ebike battery balancing.
Your foot was hitting the fender because you've got the arch of your foot on the pedal. On a motorcycle peg, you sit the foot's arch on the peg. On a bike pedal, you put the ball of your foot on the pedal.
Where is your review of the "Magicycle Cruiser Pro".
The reason you got the battery down to 37% is because you rode throttle only and you blasted it full speed almost all the way... Had you kept it in pedal assist 3 not exceeding 25mph and light pedalled, it'd have been far different. Have a look at shattnershairpiece videos where he rides his rize bikes bike and the kind of range he gets..
my range is worse case scenario. a lot of people who watch my videos ride without pedaling and want to no this info. you can always get more range out of anything electric if you go slower
I got a Troxus Explorer, $1241 after disc code. It was very well packaged, no damage. It has 750w and the Ariel is faster but the Troxus is still pretty fast and the controller is tuned perfectly. The build quality of the Troxus is spectacular. No flex, rattles, squeaks, groans, chirps, or creaks. The Troxus turns great, nothing like how you described the Ariel.
thats wild. Says they are over $1800 on website
@@justinvestri8062 I got mine last March. Cheers Justin!
Where is the serial number located? Is it the one under the barcode of the battery?
I’m not sure
its more then that its more like class 3 where you need drive license since goes over 750watts and hits 28mph or more in FLORIDA also since your going around 30mph will use more battery power and your not peddle too. so if you use peddle it would use less power. since your only use throttle it going to use more battery
I think everything you complained about is just minimal like the grip slipping I mean, come on we usually replace those ourselves, same way with the seat, as for the throttle that can be easily fixed, you’re only real complaint which is justified is the scratch in the paint. Everything else is just common basic maintenance that we have to do on any E bike we get.. I don’t know why anyone would choose a Kepler over a wired freedom, which has twice the power.
Oh yeah, I did change the seat to a more comfortable one because the sear that came with it, sucks!
Wow 45 or 50 Celsius is extremely hot, I hope you are staying hydrated, that's like over 110+F damn you must live in a crazy strange desert especially if it's is so hot at night.
Haha my bad 45-50f
It's cheap... But it's not like Wal-Mart cheap.. It's a cool bike if you are not wanting a full suspension high end bike.. Great fun on weekends and to go out just messing around. 😁
True!
Anyone have a Haro Johhny 5 for you to review ? Love to see if it is really easy to wheelie .
Would you buy this or buy the EAHORA ROMEO PRO let me know what your thoughts going to buy an e-bike for the birthday at the end of the month want to know your thoughts
Eahora because 60v. I believe it’s 60v so it should be faster
Thanks a Lot , D U D E !!!
you inspired my wife to buy a Aventon Aventure today !
Hi,just wondering if you sold this bike already? Let me know! Thanks Ray
Might be sold today
That battery space is wasted for at least three times larger physical size battery for much higher capacity batteries for much longer range.
I can't believe how fast this bike is going.
Was that the fender making that noise?
chain most of the time. when braking it's the rotor / pad setup they use
I think you're being a little hard on that bike for the price it seems like you're getting A lot, The paint chip I can see complaining about that I would be kind of mad about that And as far as lights I would just add fore So you would have front rear And stick out Sorry you could see them And then the skipping that's probably just Adjustment hopefully Handle grips pull them off put some Dish soap in some water put it on the handlebars slide them on wait about 2 or 3 hours for them to dry and they'll be good and still removable At least that's worked for me in the past
My grips haven't moved yet & have ridden 400 miles.
12 days back received same low step bike same color. And in same place has bigger chip or paint missing, under gray color is some blue paint. Packaging was perfect- even inside. They wrapped in factory w/chip already there. Contacted AR and they give insurance company email what I paid for. After comunication w/them got nothing because damage was from factory and they cover shipping- what was not problem. A'R give me 100 bucks off purchase price. Now after 12 days and 50 miles is dead. Code for motor hall sensor. Waiting for new motor. Will see how goes.
wow seriously
@MrCentraldriver AR said after they will located motor / they will shipped to me!!? Hopefully before Christmas this year. How they do take care warranty?! Basically they don't care!
Wired freedom is significantly better. 60v system with 2300 watts peak and 1900 continuous. Wired has a bigger battery and is full suspension which makes a massive difference in comfort. The newest version has more clearance and travel, an 11 cog and an Acera derailleur. The Wired destroys the Kepler on hills and acceleration and is 3-4 mph higher top speed. Also, Wired has a much better customer service reputation.
Can we get rid ooif the absurd and compulsory fat tyres
I’m surprised that bike still feels fast to you since you have that 55mph rx. I have a 3kw x-class and everything feels slow now
you adapt lol. i have not been on the super73 this year. barely just rode my sur ron this year the other day. also more updates coming to that super73 :)
I got a magicycle cruiser pro...this looks very similar...
Im trying to compare AR Kepler vs Aostiromoto S-18
Voltage is there in settings
The seat is just put on cause most people put their own seat on it. the shimano shifter works perfect on my x52 same shifter you just need to adjust it a bit the suspension is usable. Most of the stuff is marginal cost they know it will be upgraded and modded to others liking like what everybody is doing with the 73 like you did. So they are selling yo a bike all together and ready to be modded.
I review the bike as it comes. I can't review the bike based on what people will change as everybody is different. I'd hope the bike comes with a seat haha. I think my shifter got bent which i mentioned in the video. Most people are buying this bike to get the best bang for their buck. not to modify it
@@MrCentralDriver I know Bro that is all you can do. I was just saying probally why they put par gear cause they know it will be modded.
@@MrCentralDriver I would love to get a kepler It would be my new off road bike. bouncing through the woods riding on gravel roads squishing through mud maybe find a big field of tall grass to ride through take it camping. There is so much and if it is to bumpy put a shock absorbing seat post like comes on my heybike ranger.
@Billy Buttry The manual warns off-roading voids the warranty. It's too big & clanky for it anyway, not fun.
@@SmokeyTreats oh ok Guess will stick with my other mtn bike then.
The cheapness is also reflected in the 7 speed freewheel, its 2023 and no bike company uses freewheels anymore except penny pinching walmart bikes
