Re-jet the carbs. Too much air and not enough fuel is making the popping sound after you're off of the throttle. :)
Don’t listen this amateur. Simply adjust the PMS screw and make sure your carbs are sync’d.

The reason the bike is popping is because you haven't disconnected the Air Induction System which is only needed with the stock exhaust.
You don't need to disconnect any of that. Many reasons bike is popping.
When you change the exhaust enough then you air to fuel ratios are out of wack. You will probably want to pop the carb out, give it a good clean and swap out your jets.
