This is unironically my favorite vid garnt has ever made lol. Call of the night hits home on a whole different level to me. Being younger and staying out all night, sitting somewhere nice and quiet with a friend or someone to just talk and do random shit are some of my favorite memories. The beauty of a completely dark night is better than any view I could possibly lay my eyes upon, but I haven't met any vampire bitches out in the night smh.
I completely agree, as I got older and older I was always a night owl. Walking around in the dead of night or just being in my room looking out of london at night was always comforting. Definitely gonna pick up this manga
Interesting something like a calm night dosent exist in my country the flow of people and traffic never stops its always a 24/7 grind for everyone. After a hard days work i barely find the night calm a bit of gaming and i can barely keep my eyes open. So i guess this one is not for me.
there's a special feeling to finding a banger manga like this ages before it starts cropping up elsewhere. And now it's got an anime and a gigguk video. That's pretty damn cool. god I love it, already read it twice.
I found out about it when the first anime trailer dropped and the trailer was so intriguing to me I just had to read the manga and I don’t regret it at all and look forward to the anime!
"Responsible adult who tries to have a healthy sleeping schedule" I felt that haha, as a graveyard worker to starts work at 7pm till 530am. I feel this manga already, time to binge it.
are you a cute anime girl that wears a hood and carries around a lantern where the light source is a magic talking cube that's actually the lance of King Arthur in disguise?
Call of the Night is the most unique looking anime ive seen since Iruma, the music is amazing, the colors are SOO vibrant, and Nazuna's VA is 10/10. She fits the character soo perfectly, reminds me of how well Marin's VA fit her. Really hope we get multiple seasons.. Also Isekai Ojisan is the funniest anime this season.
As someone who's worked evening and graveyard shifts most of their life, I can relate how being up all night has a sort of magical feel to it. I've seen this manga at the bookstore I work at, and have thought of buying it. Having seen your review has convinced me to pick up the first volume. Definitely mention this series to Connor and Joey.
I wouldn't say "Magical" but when I did Graveyard I would get a sudden burst of Energy after I got off shift and couldn't get to sleep for several hours after, usually around 3AM, then wake up at 11AM and start the cycle again. Also because it was so late in order for me to get Warm food I had to go to Jack in the Box in the Neighboring town as everything nearby was closed by midnight (had car so it wasn't too inconvenient) and all kinds of strange people show up there after midnight.
An upside of the pandemic is that during the first few months I went on a crusade of manga discovery and the downside is that I can't get excited for the new anime since I already read the manga and know what's gonna happen
As someone who woke up at 8pm and just watched this at 3am I can say noone has ever managed to put the nightowl feeling into better words than you Its just so peaceful, I know noone will come into my door needing stuff from me, I know my phone wont ring etc
@@EveryMan-yz1ce i dont i had to google what homura vs mami is and still dont know whats going on ive never seen madoka, ive never talked about, i dont know who you are either *and* my comment isnt even about madoka?
wow I think I finally found the explanation for why I always stay up late gaming or going for walks alone in the crisp night air. It truly is the only time where you don't have any obligations or responsibilities. For a few hours you're completely free of the crazy rush of the world. Thanks Gigguk for making a video that explains this nagging feeling I've always had but never bothered to think about or explain to myself or my friends and fam.
It's deeper than that, and it's heavily hinted that subconsciously Kou only wanted to become a vampire to get closer to Nazuna, but I'll let y'all decide coz this isn't even something explicitly said in the story nor does he ever act in a way where this is the only explanation lmao, 100% worth a read
Gigguk: “Go out and wander your streets at 3am!” Me, who goes to a uni that’s 2 blocks from a ghetto in two directions, where I’m pretty sure people get murdered every night: “Yeah, I’m not gonna do that…”
I cannot tell you how peaceful the whole vibe of this manga is despite some of its' chaos. It's exactly like walking alone on a night but in a noisy city.
For years I've felt an amazing peace in the dead of night when everyone else is asleep. It feels like nothing at all matters. Glad to know others also relate to this.
"Get on my level." Garnt, I'm not sure _how_ anyone would match the sheer madness of a Britboy so weeb he moves to Japan _and_ has a even more lunatic blonde waifu like Syd to hit him over the head when he's going spare. You are a legend.
Finally someone is talking about this manga. I picked it up at random and ended up binging it that night. It gets so deep and the relationship between the two main characters is so fun to read.
The reason why I miss Garnt's abridged series is because most of the titles he reviews, I don't really watch but I could just listen to this man speak all day. His strength really is his scripts, humor and his delivery. Cheers man!
I found this manga a while back through Creepy Nuts' song, as the songs name was used for the title and was later used to promote the manga, and I cannot think of any other piece of media that has so perfectly captured the feeling that night has. If you were to capture the feeling in one word it would be tranquil or maybe freedom. The feeling that the entire world stopped for a while and that there is nothing that is keeping you anywhere. Side note, Creepy Nuts are fucking amazing and I hope that anyone reading this will check them out! My personal favorite of theirs is かつて天才だった俺たちへ (To Us Former Prodigies) The song explores the feeling of burning out but has the uplifting message that it will never be too late to achieve something.
IIRC it's the other way around. The manga was inspired by the song, with the author reaching out to Creepy Nuts for permission to use the song name as the title for the manga. They later got together to collab for a manga PV with the song and now it's officially the OP too.
@@Zeithri eh, cyberpunk puts overwhelming focus on big city hectic night life. Yofukashi is more often tranquil night time suburbia, which cyberpunk rarely touches on.
I found the manga almost a year ago now, and it really helped me learn that there's more that I can enjoy other than the routine I follow, or the routine I have lost. I related to the protagonist a lot, while I didn't quit school, I struggled to the end and eventually wanted a whole year of just doing nothing with the savings I had. Doing this, I started feeling empty, lazy, and doubtful of myself. "Will I ever get out of this rut?" "Am I this pathetic?" "Get up, already." Pretty much tried doing the same as the male protagonist (without having a smug-looking vampire following me, sadly), since I needed to try another routine other than drowning myself in pity. I started exploring every nook and cranny of my hometown where I lived for 10 years. I thought I knew everything, but somehow, after convincing myself to just go outside every night that I can't sleep; I found new streets I've never seen, buildings that I thought were non-existent, going through forests, even almost intentionally getting "lost", but also visiting places I've been before, like my former school. Then, I found out that I needed to move away. I didn't appreciate what I called my hometown, a place that I've lived, a place I grew up on and helped shape me into what I am today. It's like I lost a dear friend of mine that I will never get to see, or very rarely able to visit. If it was the old me that didn't read this series experiencing finally moving out, I probably wouldn't care as much. Heck, I used to call it a "hell-hole with boredom". This manga really opened my eyes, maybe not the exact reasons as the main character, but just enjoying the only time when you can control your own life. All of this, was from just reading a manga. It really shows the beauty and freedom of the night, something I wished I had read before, and if this doesn't convince you, you'll find other aspects that you will like.
This has literally been one of my biggest life dreams, to walk at the dead of night through Tokyo and just get lost and forget about all my problems and all the crappy things that I have gone through
WTF are you talking about this manga is getting an anime adaptation, this manga has been recognized for more than one year. The Author has other works which are famous.
@@latte5882 nah bruh it was kinda underrated because before the anime was announced nobody really talked about the series as much as some of the more recent anime adaptations which include nagatoro and komi san
I'm glad that this manga is getting some well deserved recognition. Been reading it when it was at around chapter 20 and it's been a blast. Can't wait for the anime next year
Same man. Been reading it around chapter 10. Found it cuz of Dagashi Kashi. Honestly, it lost me a lot of times cuz of its very slow pacing but it really has a unique feel to it.
...it's relatable to be a 14 year old who actually thinks he is put upon and his life is so terrible because he has to...*checks notes* do homework that he goes out and gets sexually assaulted?
For anyone wondering, the track that plays at the end is called "Election". It's from the irregular of magic high school OST. Hopefully that saves you some minutes of searching
I was literally looking through the comments if someone mentions the name of that track, it sounded nostalgic but I couldn't put my finger on where I'd heard it. Thanks a lot.
I’m so glad this manga is getting an anime, I love the story that it has going for it and the relationship between the two mcs is something I’ve really enjoyed watching grow
I'm happy you actually explained how staying up all night is. Its just that I also like staying up all night until morning when no ones up, no ones bothering, its all quiet and peaceful. Definitely going to watch this anime when it releases.
Those 6-7AM ventures down to the kitchen and you can see the faint glow of the sun outside; thinking about all kinds of things. Shit feels so liberating. Makes you actually want to go places and see all kinds of stuff. I always end up just going to sleep though or writing 6 paragraphs of a story then never finishing it.
Ah, yes. The good old sleep deprivation night walks. The darkness, the silence, the funky yellowish color of the street lights. The lingering possibility of getting knifed or bludgeoned. It really feels like the good times.
They've started to replace the old sodium lamps where I live, gone is the yellow glow, replaced by an eye watering blue-white abomination that makes everything look like the inside of a hospital and people like walking paper cutouts. It feels sickly. It's so ugly I have to route around those areas now on my walks.
@@johnathanmcdoe what color would be best? I've heard that red is easier on the eyes or something like that, idk. Is yellow best for nighttime lamp light?
I just heard about the anime adaptation today and started reading the manga. The title of the series is from the song of the same name by Creepy Nuts and used with permission. So far, I'm really enjoying their unique take on the 'boy meets vampire girl' trope.
This manga is some how amazing to me, there was nothing too special but the pacing and calm story-telling gave me a vibe that i rarely felt from any anime or manga. Just from the first and early chapters, this was so intriguing even there was no extreme plot but with the ongoing chapters, the story started to become more more interesting and kinna sad. Recommend for anyone who are lost in life, feeling separated from close-ones or just bored with the daily routine
@@ilhamseptian1604 yea it is generic and I like it becuase it doesn't over do its points and overstay it's welcome it's kinda like a chill story to read and in the future watch when you just vibing with life
Been a long time fan of the series, so I'm so happy how much attention it's getting from the anime announcement. It's emotional thinking about just how exciting it was when it got an English manga release. The mangaka's last amazing series didn't make it that far, so this was such an AMAZING accomplishment. Now to see how much attention it's getting is such an amazing feeling.
I fucking love this manga so much. It hits close to home especially as I’m about to graduate highschool. Yes I am just a high schooler but I feel comfort in this manga because I am a night owl. All my my favorite memories are of me riding my bike down the street with not a single soul around or night swimming with my best friend. But as now I work a manual labor job with longer hours as well as finals coming up I feel like I’m no longer able to enjoy those things. My number one dream is to explore a bright neon city in the dead of night with no one around except a few key people. There is something comforting in that form of solitude and just like Gigguk said there isn’t anyone to tell you what to do. Yeah it does feel annoying when I realize how edgy it is when I say crap like this out loud but I don’t want to grow up anymore, because of strict parents I have barely been able to experience a decent childhood in my recent years so just seeing it slowly crumble around me just fucking sucks. Idk man, this manga means a lot to me and I honestly can’t say it’s for everyone. But I can say that no matter how old I get it will always hold a special place in my heart. Also vampires are hot imo
I am loving this new style of Garnts vidoes, it defniatly suits him. So glad he branched out and tried some new mature kinds of content, it really paid off. Keep up the hustle culture king
I work at nights, Welcoming people into a hotel and giving shelter and snacks to those who need it... and I've been doing this for 2 years now, as well as having been a Lyft/Uber Driver for 2.5 years. The Vibe just from the panels you showed is a real thing, and its fantastic to see something talking about it now. Thanks Gigguk. Happy Holidays.
I got to admit when that guy said "even I got ganyu and I'm f2p"it was straight up hilarious yet so sad like yeah it's making me remember some bad memorys...
I lived with my mother who isn’t the most mentally stable person. I’ve since moved out of her home but I still stay awake super late. I always have. And beyond my childhood stories of me punching myself to stay up later at age 3 I have found that, nighttime is me time. My mother was stressful to deal with and I felt like life was walking on eggshells around a loud angry women who didn’t really care for me. I was never her child or her sweet little baby. I was her friend. Someone to vent to and to ask for help. Someone to rely on. Which really hurt my young developing brain when I’m bringing in groceries at age 7 by myself and then get yelled at cause I forgot to close the gate. Or to properly lock the car. I never had anyone mother me. I was always expected to be smart and mature. So I never wanted to hang out around my mom, cause it wasn’t easy. I found that when she was asleep I could truly relax. And so I’ve just stayed up late more and more often since then. To the point where it’s hard to not completely invert my sleep schedule. It is currently 1 am and I have to work tomorrow at 7:30. So in conclusion I have issues and find nighttime is when I can truly relax and think about me and my life. This also brings me great pain cause I’m gonna be so fucking tired tomorrow.
Please never stop monologuing Garnt. The way you manage to switch between serious and satire still blows me away every time. Your dialogue throughout these scripted vids is guaranteed to give me goosebumps everytime. And yet there are still tons of less serious, memey thoughts and opinions spread throughout. Once again please never stop what you are doing. You are a god damn genius my friend. And deserve every bit of fame/recognition you get. Much love man !
As a night owl my whole life, I can relate to this heavy. I've gone out myself in the middle of the night just to breathe and look around. There was a tremendous sense of peace just looking at the night sky without the sounds of cars and lights everywhere.
I'm currently going through that late-night no responsibility phase right now, but I've always been a nightowl. maybe tonight I'll head down to the dam and just experience it.
So so so happy you covered this absolute gem. I discovered it a few months ago after moving to a new city and its isolated vibe perfectly reflected how I felt at that time. Very excited for the adaptation of the smug grin
One thing that always kept me going last year was just going out on an evening walk before/after grabbing a hot dining center meal. It was always so calm and serene, and a refreshment after sitting through hours of class in a tiny, empty dorm room. Being up on a quiet night just hits different. Will definitely consider picking this manga up.
The feeling you're talking about is similar to the feeling I get from the credits of FLCL. The stop motion vespa going through mainly empty streets. I would always see that early in the morning and got a very similar feel
This manga feels like a fever dream tbh. Like its surreal how real this is. I don’t feel like I just belong in society during the day. Its not like I wander at night but those few times I walked around my home just felt right. That feeling of compatibility and comfort. Especially whenever I feel so departed from everyone else. But hey thats just me.
Having worked night shifts on an irregular schedule for half a year, the vibe that this manga creates really hits home, both mentally and physically: While I experience that vibe in my head while I am reading, my gut would also have an uneasy twirl as if remembering the unhealthy combo of extra oily night snacks and some ice Nestel coffee, which would then later turn into a mild stomach discomfort. :( It's really a very weird and magical feeling. And I mean, nobody can turn away from that SMUG GRIN!
what I find talented about this manga’s author is that how he/she is too good to depicts the simple and cheap settings that nobody goes for it into the almost fearfully charming view or the world. Author develops a story with really slow pace compares to other manga, but somehow that style itself kinda reassures me. The longer that gentle and unchanging moods that character create continues, produce a enormous benefit at turning point, and the author is too familiar with it. He/she is amazingly good at formulating stories to get there. Sorry If my English is not good enough to understand, i am Japanese and I’m in middle of second years of progress to learn English….
I feel this in my soul... I've always been a night person. For a lot of the reasons mentioned here, I (after high school) took to the nighttime more with some of my freedom and realized how relaxing it can be. The problem is that I've never been able to really reel back my lifestyle after 7 years of just being a nightwalker/late party fiend. Its done some serious damage to my ability to function as a person on the day-to-day with a day job while trying to succeed at building a life I can be proud of. If it's as good for you as it was for me, don't let the night get its hooks into you. It's harder to quit than a hard addictive drug.
I'm a night person too. Not all jobs require you to be there at 8 or 9 am. I am a home health physical therapist, I set my own schedule. I work for a state hospital system, my salary is $130k/yr and I wake up at 10 AM, start work around 11AM, finish by 230PM. All that matters in real life is that you do your job, whether you prefer to do it at 6 am or 6pm, do it well. Being a morning vs evening person is a preference, neither is better than the other, so never let society shame you for being a night person and not a morning person.
@@Eric-zs6rd Wow, does that mean you get to spend time with family during the day? Idk this lifestyle seems more appealing to me than returning home by 7:30 pm and barely having time to interact with family.
@@samuraijosh1595 Yes, but I only have a wife and a cat haha. And my wife is working during the day. Still, I have time to run the many errands that are hard to do on a 9-5, because the dentist/vet/USPS/court is only open 9-5 as well. Or enjoy happy hours and skip traffic. I do about 3-4 hours of direct patient care in a day and then the rest is home office paperwork, which I get 4 hours for but can realistically do in about 45 minutes.
I used to be a nightowl; from grade 5 until grade 10, I just "couldn't fall asleep" (insomnia) and I just stopped going to school. I felt like I had no reason to, and I preferred the night; I would wake up at 6-8pm, and stay up until 8am. It almost felt like a dream that I never woke up from... until I did; It wasn't completely random but I just decided that I was going to change. I'm really glad that I did because I feel better than I ever did before; It used to feel like I was just watching my life go by, but now I truly do feel like I'm in control. But for I'm starting to feel the insomnia creep back; I'm becoming more restless and that is only making me worry more and the refreshed feeling I used to get in the morning isn't there anymore, my headaches are starting to come back too. although I'm worried, I also know that I am a lot stronger (Mentally) then I was before so I'm sure I'll get through it. I do enjoy walking out late at night; I love the sense of freedom and the peaceful quietness of the baron streets and roads. Also, this manga Is great so far. :)
Glad yofukashi no uta is getting recognized from a well know youtuber, good manga hyped for summer 2022 the pv looked wonderful people please don't sleep on this ani/manga
Gigguk is drawn to the story because of it's setting and vibe but personally i think the selling point of this story is the character interactions and personalities. There is something undeniably fresh about this story in the way how it's characters act. I mean Nazuna, the main girl and primo waifu material has the personality cross of a naive schoolgirl mixed with a creepy old man. There is something so special about a girl who gets embarassed about love and yet cracks sex jokes without batting an eye.
Totally agreed. I also like how the main focus of the story so far has been a constant questioning of "what is a "healthy" relationship, and why is it "healthy"?" It kinda resonates with me, as someone who hasn't really had the healthiest relationships in my life.
I watched this when you uploaded it and totally forgot about it until now when the summer anime list came out and reminded me of this video XD I’m hyped
Was super pumped to see this series get an anime so soon! Been reading the english release over the past few months and it's quickly become one of my favorites. Nazuna and Ko are both hilarious and genuinely adorable throughout the whole thing. Also can't wait for the inevitable explosion of "Nazuna best girl" when the anime drops.
This manga speaks to my soul. I've never liked day time walks; too many cars, too many people. However, I gravitate towards the peaceful aura of the night, the stars that glisten on a blanket of darkness, and especially the moon. Whenever I see the full moon I feel at utter peace. I could walk for hours and hours during the night because I know I *can.* There's no day time responsibilities to stop me. It's just me, the moon and the night's atmosphere.
The days has it's benefit too, when you want to socialize, want to be productive, you do it in the day, when you just want to binge your favorite anime, you do it late at night.
@@GrillerGT idkk tho cuz we live in different country.. but from where I live.. they're so hard to find because the manga is not that popular here. till now I still haven't found a volume 5 and it has been like over a week since its release haha
Y'know, I was looking at this series the other day and thinking about starting it. I like Dagashi Kashi, and seeing something else by the author of a manga you like is always exciting. But I kinda just... didn't start reading it, for some reason. I'm really glad you made this video, because this is the kind of series I love; a series with interesting things to say that doesn't need a rigid plot structure or conflict with huge stakes to say them. The sounds of crickets and frogs in the background were a nice touch, too.
Funny how they managed to capture the niche so well, the feeling of freedom at night is what got me to think Vampires are cool instead of scary when I was young. I’m now a frequent Vampire: the masquerade larper and am beginning with the tabletop game. They could’ve just made it about nightlife, but adding vampires to the mix makes it so much more personal to me
On the other hands im more a fan of vampire hunters. Maybe its Van Helsing or maybe its the Belmonts but i like thebidea of Humans overcoming and destroying evil night creatures with holy weapons.
Honestly I feel like the Mangaka is excellent at that whole "Vibe" creating thing. I don't particulary consider Dagashi Kashi to be an actual good story, and I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone, but I utterly adore the Show because the Vibe just hits those very Rural notes that just reminds me of my very own Childhood even when I am from a completely different Country and thus have no direct Connection to the Culture.
Just a reminder: minoxidil is essentially a life long agreement. Your hairline will not maintain without its help (it will get even worse) after the treatment course of a few months.

I found this manga on my daily exploration of manga releases. I loved it and while I'm happy it's getting the recognition it deserves, the selfish side of me feels regret that it is no longer obscure or under the radar. It resonated so well with things I felt in the past, which I struggle to put into words without sounding cheesy or cringy. I hope the anime is successful and that it draws more people to read the manga and support the mangaka.
Me: "I don't like vampire stories" Me after reading a journey of black and red: "Vampire noble ladies hunting wendigos with Martini-Henry rifles is the coolest shit ever, i am now in love with the genre"
Depends on where you live. Also that was the joke about the drunks. Personally I get off in the middle of the night and rarely see people outside of cars rolling by sometimes. But I could walk the street from the top of my block to the bottom and never see another soul and it isn't usually so late as 3.
damnnnn, this video really gave me nostalgia of where I was younger, playing ghost in the gave yard, or just chilling and talking with my friends. The cicadas in the background, the warm humid air, the faint smell of bug spray. Just that feeling of being out at night he so meticulously described. If that's what's this manga does, and presumably it does from what gigguk is saying, I may just have to read it.

Exactly mate, i never thought it'd be mainstream, discovered it just like you, and now it's getting an anime adaptation

Found the manga online and couldn’t stop reading it.
I found it at the end of a manga, where they were promoting their other scans
A love story between Levi and Toga
yo if you liked this go read Spirit Circle it will change your life.
My personal favorite of theirs is かつて天才だった俺たちへ (To Us Former Prodigies)
The song explores the feeling of burning out but has the uplifting message that it will never be too late to achieve something.
Hell yeah かつて天才だった俺たち🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great musicians and fucking legendary song!!!
IIRC it's the other way around. The manga was inspired by the song, with the author reaching out to Creepy Nuts for permission to use the song name as the title for the manga.
They later got together to collab for a manga PV with the song and now it's officially the OP too.
Fucking... Watch ANY 80's Cyberpunk show and you'll have stuff that captures the night perfectly!
@@Zeithri eh, cyberpunk puts overwhelming focus on big city hectic night life. Yofukashi is more often tranquil night time suburbia, which cyberpunk rarely touches on.
@@DGrayEX yup, exactly that. The song came out over a year before the manga I think.
"Will I ever get out of this rut?" "Am I this pathetic?" "Get up, already."
Pretty much tried doing the same as the male protagonist (without having a smug-looking vampire following me, sadly), since I needed to try another routine other than drowning myself in pity.

Now to see how much attention it's getting is such an amazing feeling.
what’s the manga name
@Matthew Wagenhoffer Yes it did. You're right. Although strangely it didn't get a manga release though.

Garnt- "I don't wanna get demonetized"

Merry Christmas, you poor sod.

Im your opposite. I require the sun to be at my best when doing my walks. Night deactivates me a sap me of will and energy
The days has it's benefit too, when you want to socialize, want to be productive, you do it in the day, when you just want to binge your favorite anime, you do it late at night.

As someone who is a larper and a new fan of Vampire: the masquerade, I’m very interested in knowing where this larp takes place?^^
@@j.ostberg6 there’s a nationwide event known as “Katharsis” in Europe, it’s in Germany, the Netherlands and even Sweden if im correct.
It needs to be at least 1 year for it to be permanent
I wish people would just fucking own it and shave it off. Being a insecure p*ssy is not attractive.
@@lamasan.220 for what to be permanent
@@Kompotamus once your hair follicles have been developed fully they cannot just shrink (unless you actively suffer from allopecia).

It honestly astonishes me how it feels like you're renting a room in my brain. I am ecstatic to see you posting more and more.
Wish you happy holidays and a happy and prosperous new year, brotha. Keep up the fantastic work you do.
You have some influence right there
They actually made an anime on this
He literally mentions they were making one in the video. He has no influence on this. They were already making one before his vid was posted. Trailer was up with 4.1mil views and everything. Did you even watch this entire vid or just skip things somewhere?
I found this manga on my daily exploration of manga releases. I loved it and while I'm happy it's getting the recognition it deserves, the selfish side of me feels regret that it is no longer obscure or under the radar.
It resonated so well with things I felt in the past, which I struggle to put into words without sounding cheesy or cringy.
I hope the anime is successful and that it draws more people to read the manga and support the mangaka.
6:55 I see Garnt using the legendary Genshin OST.
I remember reading a few chapters earlier on. For some reason this manga has such a unique vibe I've never seen felt before.
Me: "I don't like vampire stories"
Me after reading a journey of black and red: "Vampire noble ladies hunting wendigos with Martini-Henry rifles is the coolest shit ever, i am now in love with the genre"
been reading this for a while, its solid, even now the back stories and current arc is actually entertaining.
7:58 sydsnap being the “10” in question is so cute
Damn.. didn't notice that. Yeah, it's hella cute.
Gigguk talking like he never had to walk home at 3 AM. There's no way the streets would be completely empty
Depends on where you live. Also that was the joke about the drunks. Personally I get off in the middle of the night and rarely see people outside of cars rolling by sometimes. But I could walk the street from the top of my block to the bottom and never see another soul and it isn't usually so late as 3.
I love this mans videos
damnnnn, this video really gave me nostalgia of where I was younger, playing ghost in the gave yard, or just chilling and talking with my friends. The cicadas in the background, the warm humid air, the faint smell of bug spray. Just that feeling of being out at night he so meticulously described. If that's what's this manga does, and presumably it does from what gigguk is saying, I may just have to read it.
