Looking back, what an absolute spectacle of a final boss. Even today few games have anything so impressive in them despite modern visuals. Some try but forget the gameplay when trying to achieve the awe. This is both epic and fun to play.

And also, Bomb Eco Wells is easy, all you need to do is TO NOT TRY TO BEAT IT THE FIRST TIMES so you can memorize all locations and decide which ones you'll bomb first. Beating the Baron is pretty easy comparatively to any other really hard missions. Escort men through sewers?! Fuck that mission, it was harder than fucking rocks! Though i wish i'd seen more of those guys you escorted, they had some genuinely fun moments. Example: *guy sets explosive device* Guy A-Cover your ears! Guy B- You mean cover your ass! Fire in the hole!! *Explosive goes off* Guy C-Wow! What did you put in those boomsticks? Guy B- Your bad breath. Now shut up and let's move on! (I remember it because i kept dying and therefore hearing the same dialogue over and over again xD)

The last BIG Jak game. Everything that followed was either racing, much shorter, or trimmed down. And ND will never make another one, since the people who made the Jak games are no longer working for the company. Including the original writers.
Actually no because I went to there UA-cam channel and the people who made jak 3 still work a ND a vid was released this year about all there games and whatever and one guy stated that he "was working on graphics and etc. on jak 3" from past so some probably stayed and still work at ND

The Dark Makers should have been the main antagonist of Jak 4. Or 3. And Errol their right hand man. That or make Veger the main antagonist instead and make him a corrupt official with power and imprisons Ashelin or something idk..

You know what'd be cool? What if Gol and Maia WEREN'T destroyed by the dark eco in the first game, but instead it preserved them for decades. Then they wake up in the future where Jak 2 & 3 took place, and make an entirely new plan for world domination. That's what I'd make Jak 4 about.
Sometimes other epic moments in the trilogy overshadow this for me and I kind of forget about the whole third act of Jak 3. But that's kind of a good thing, because every time I reach the series' finale I rediscover how completely awe-inspiringly great it is.
I just realized this theme is an off-the-rails remix of several themes, notably the Krimzon Guard high alert theme from Jak II - probably a reference to Erol's old job. Listen closely to the beginning. So cool!
Oh Man, I Remember Getting Jak And Daxter The Precursor Legacy When I Was A Kid, Getting Jak 2 Later On, and One Christmas, Getting Jak 3. Jak 3 Is By Far My Favorite. The Final Boss Was Epic.

+Erik Coreas There was a Secrets menu full of unlockables you could purchase with Precursor Orbs. Some were just basic upgrades like extra ammo and vehicles, or special features like cutscene commentary, but there were also some straight-up cheats like Invincibility (but most of those aren't allowed to be bought until you beat the game anyway). I'm about to replay this soon since I just got the Jak collection on PS3, so I'm looking forward to having to unlock Hero Mode all over again
+Darkly I beat this game as a kid, not fully understanding the meaning behind orbs, so I never bought upgrades, and didn't know about the Light Jak regeneration, since I barely spoke any English back then... Now THAT was difficult, I replayed the game a few days ago, playing it how it's supposed to be played, and damn is it much easier. Beat it without any problems :D

I never cried... But I must agree with you. The Jak and Daxter games should grow to be a strong franchise like Ratchet and Clank. They were once but Ratchet and Clank got really popular all of a sudden.
This just unearthed some memories of when I watched the JoJo OVAs, for some reason. I don't know why, but the JoJo OVAs come to mind whenever I play Jak 3.

@VGWguy Naughty Dog's next game, "The Last of Us," was originally supposed to be the next Jak game on the PS3, but it was abandoned because without Jason Rubin (the main creative developer for the first three games) ND just thought they were stamping the Jak & Daxter name on another product, so they turned it into a Survival Horror game.

Holy crap i just realized something. the Dark Maker Finale is a heavily remixed version of the Metal Kor fight. Mind = Blown if it werent for the impossibly hard to control turret mission i could have beaten this game...

Erol is like Liquid Ocelot from MGS. First Erol survives a explosion of dark eco, then he survives being shot at with bombs, then he survives a ship crashing, then he finally dies when a giant mech blows up on him.
The ginger hair, half metal face and robotic voice makes it more obvious that Erol is supposed to be like N.Gin.....if he lost more than half his face, went completely off the rails and wanted to commit genocide and destroy the world. Also they've both survived explosions and been in space. They both can pilot mechs. Of course the big difference is that N.Gin is still alive(rarely does anyone die in Crash)while Erol dies for good.
Jak 3. The last of an era. An era when developers cared about giving a game a good storyline. When they used plot to carry to carry the game, rather than graphics. How I miss such games.

He was a tyrannical dictator and he used people as experimental lab rats for the Dark Warrior Program to use them as weapons which resulted in every subject(except Jak)to die. Erol is probably the only one that would miss Praxis. Then again....Erol doesn't mention anything about avenging Praxis in the game, so maybe not.
Naughty Dog had an interview March 15 saying that they will make it, just not when. Continue writing to them everybody! Jak and Daxter will rock the shit out of the PS3!

@VGWguy Naughty Dog's next game, "The Last of Us," was originally supposed to be the next Jak game on the PS3, but it was abandoned because without Jason Rubin (the main creative developer for the first three games) ND just thought they were stamping the Jak & Daxter name on another product, so they turned it into a Survival Horror game.
I finished the game 3 weeks ago great game it suprises me every jak and daxter game offers something different this music is epic and the battle was awsome I wonder if the lost frontier is good to might get it for christmas for psp

Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Crash Bandicoot and the Spyro the Dragon series were the best! True classics! I will kick my self in the face if all these games are HD remastered on the PS3 :D

Holy crap i just realized something. the Dark Maker Finale is a heavily remixed version of the Metal Kor fight. Mind = Blown
if it werent for the impossibly hard to control turret mission i could have beaten this game...

@BrawlKat141 well naughty dog had some part in it like helping HIG stick to the story and you cant use your powers because dark eco is detsroying the wolrd so anything that has a big source or surplus so using powers would kill jak and ND wanted to do this but were to cought up in uncherted so they gave the project to the NDs at HIG so realyit is and plus if u sit thru the creds it shows some naughty dog names
Erol is like Liquid Ocelot from MGS. First Erol survives a explosion of dark eco, then he survives being shot at with bombs, then he survives a ship crashing, then he finally dies when a giant mech blows up on him.
The ginger hair, half metal face and robotic voice makes it more obvious that Erol is supposed to be like N.Gin.....if he lost more than half his face, went completely off the rails and wanted to commit genocide and destroy the world. Also they've both survived explosions and been in space. They both can pilot mechs. Of course the big difference is that N.Gin is still alive(rarely does anyone die in Crash)while Erol dies for good.
This song is epic.
Jak 3. The last of an era. An era when developers cared about giving a game a good storyline. When they used plot to carry to carry the game, rather than graphics. How I miss such games.
@CommanderZylo theres still halo 4, and half life 3, and portal 3. Bungie and valve are legendary for the storylines. There is also the legend of zelda series.

Such a good series. And it all died after some genius got the brilliant idea to throw out all the adventure elements and turn it into a racing game.
i agree with MK, shadow of the colossus was a very good game for those who enjoy boss runs and puzzle games. It also has a decent story line.

@@tailedgates9 IKR? Why would anyone miss Praxis? He was a tyrannical dictator and he used people as experimental lab rats for the Dark Warrior Program to use them as weapons which resulted in every subject(except Jak)to die.
Erol is probably the only one that would miss Praxis. Then again....Erol doesn't mention anything about avenging Praxis in the game, so maybe not.
Naughty Dog had an interview March 15 saying that they will make it, just not when. Continue writing to them everybody! Jak and Daxter will rock the shit out of the PS3!
