PLEASE READ MY COMMENT UNTIL THE END (not sure this TIP is a fix, it may be the opposite) Firstly, thank you so much for sharing this information :) Secondly: I've done this 2 days ago with my Cactus C4 and it seems it worked. Not straight away but on the day after the clutch was back to normal. Do as he says, and keep it for maybe 5 to 10 seconds. Once it's done you feel the smell of burned clutch. (keep reading please) latest updates: 03/May/2023 - this trick worked for over a month I think, and I had to do it a second time. The day after, it started to develop something worst in the clutch. Now I struggle to change from first to second gear and often I feel a vibration coming from my pedal. Today I realised I can't drive the car properly, it's getting worst. Sometimes I need to switch off the engine, put the first gear, turn the car on and then drive and keep struggling with my clutch. I have just booked my car next week Thursday 11th May to get fixed by a mechanic. So, I think this trick may work for a sort period of time and soon the problem can become worst. I think the best thing to do if you are not sure is ask a mechanic what he things about it, he may be able to explain what is going on. I will probably spend £500-£800 to fix my car. My car: Citroen Cactus C4 2016 - 72k miles.I was happy this trick worked for me but now it turned to a headache as I run my own business and I will have to hire a car to work until next Thursday, so be careful guys. It would be great if we would get a follow up video about your Mercedes. 8/May/23 - game over for me, garage called me Friday: £1395 - will bring my car to my driveway and sell it. can't afford to repair. Thanks
Gaud bless ya, I'll try this on my 51000 miles Nissan note, it's very annoying, was thinking I need a new clutch lol, I'll try this soon as I wake up, many thanks
Check the Propshaft Donut coupling joint which if faulty or riddled with cracks will cause the same issue, mine juddered badly in first and reverse, my mechanic checked mine and it was full of cracks in the rubber, changed it and it drives as new with zero judder.
You must be a good driver, because bad drivers tend to not pull on the clutch more, I once had a truck (when I worked for a living) that the the clutch failed but I was able to drive all the way home (250 miles) and do two delivers on the way without using the clutch. I also have the view that the clutch was a on or off thing and not to slip it so much, this then can cause the problem you talk about, I would just let the wife drive it from time to time they seem to know how to wear clutches 🙂
Hi did you get a burning smell from the clutch after doing this, ive done this and the judder has gone which is great but got a burning smell from clutch
By the way i changed clutch and flywheel together, but still judder on 1st gear, also engine and gearbox mount has been changed to newones. Problem is no have any specialist for this car as well
I am definitely going to try this, thank you. Yes it works, I have since done at least 200 miles, without a single judder. Saved me a new clutch.
I did this too the other day. And it fixed my problem too (so far fingers crossed). So thank you.

Just done exactly that to my Peugeot Partner today and sorted the judder!
My Vito is 59000 and has been doing the same for about 1 1/2 years, so annoying, just tried this and it’s totally gone, like driving a new van 👌🏼👌🏼
Hi how long did you have to hold the revs for?
Gaud bless ya, I'll try this on my 51000 miles Nissan note, it's very annoying, was thinking I need a new clutch lol, I'll try this soon as I wake up, many thanks
Did this work? My wife's 2017 nissan x-trail with only 45k on the clock started doing this now too.
@@MyFoxworldyes it worked, the trick is to deliberately (slip) the clutch while driving
When you guys say judder by that do you mean literally bounces up and down when moving off on the bite?
It worked for me. I have mercedes c class whit om651 engine, manual. Thank you
Did it come back ? I have same problem when cold
Will try this tomorrow thanks
Thanks. Is this a temporary cure and the issue will keep coming back or does it provide long term relief of the problem?
Well it lasted about 6 months before I had to do it again!
@@g20gasservicesthanks for the update. Not a bad result to be fair.

I will give this a try shortly and let you know what happens.
How long did you do that process? How long did let the clutch slip?
