  • These are the best Kettlebells I have. You may have wondered why I recommend Pro Kettlebells so often.
    It's not a new thing. They are an upgrade to the original Valery Federenko Performance competition KETTLEBELLS with the beveled edges I've used since 2013- 14.
    While Valery doesn't make Kettlebells anymore
    Pro Kettlebells are the way to go
    check them out here.
    prokettlebell....
    Great for everything but I wouldn't recommend juggling with them due to the bevels.
    I've bought 3 pairs along with the magnet weight in 1 and 2kg increments.
    Grab my "kettlebell only" strength and conditioning plans here www.kbmuscle.c...

    hey joe. i have enjoyed and appreciated your videos for many years. i just watched a steve cotter interview, i believe only a month or so ago, apparently his last, where he paid tribute to you and your teachings. steve was such a great inspiration and well respected coach. obviously he respected you and for good reason. sorry for your loss as i am guessing you guys were friends.

    Just got a 32kg pro kb after having some regular 24s beat the heck out of my forearms on an overhead oressing program. My gosh do these things feel good, and I had no idea how pretty it would be honestly.
    Makes me want to pick it up everytime I walk by, thanks for the recommendation!

    Only reason I haven't pulled the trigger on these is because at roughly $500 for a pair of 24KG, I definitely want to try them out first. I'd hate to buy'em, not like'em, and then have to go through the hassle of trying to unload them on the used market. Being made in the USA is a massive plus in my book though. Are the kettlebells with the indents allowed in competitions?

      i totally understand! most are allowing them. you can learn more on their site. Denis Vasilev IKO allows them . there are many others that allow currently. perhaps i can put a list of the federations in the description

    Can the magnetic 'chips' be stacked, within the bell, to increase adjustability, as an alternative to the screw-in adjustables?

    • @kettlebellmusclegain
      @kettlebellmusclegain  11 місяців тому +1

      I wouldn't recommend it there's a possibility but with exercises such as snatch and swing etc I wouldn't do that much do the the force on the magnets. Presses , deadlifts , carries should be fine though.

    I bought them pretty early, so I have those inter media weights, I have singles #12, #14, #16, #18, #20 #22, #24.
    With a #2 magic addon, turns my single set to a double set 2x#14, 2x#16, 2x#18, 2x#20, 2x#22, 2x#24.
    Recently bough #28, but I dont think I will need to double it ever.
    Have bought and sold other brands, kbk kbusa, titan.
    Those prokbs are my final score.

    Joe do you prefer the colored paint or the satin clear coat on these pro kettlebells?

    • @kettlebellmusclegain

      I really don't care but colors are one of the reasons comp Kettlebells make you wanna pick up and play with.

      @@kettlebellmusclegain how would you rate them vs KBUSA paradigm pros?

    • @kettlebellmusclegain
      @kettlebellmusclegain  11 місяців тому

      I love kBusa. They just don't use the beveled edges. KBUSA has the best window and handle IMO of the American made bells that aren't beveled

      @@kettlebellmusclegain yeah I love mine as well. Started my collection based on your review of them years ago. Only need 12s and 40s. Would like to try Pro KB out sometime. I don’t think I’d get enough use out of the 12s to justify having a mismatched set though. lol 20s or 24s would be nice.

    Unfortunately i cannot get either these or the VF ones where i live. I'd love to train kettlebells with less pressure on my forearms and wrists, which end up almost invariably badly bruised after each workout

      Are you gripping with a 45 degree handle angle? Are you gripping TOO TIGHT?

    • @wadsworth2351
      @wadsworth2351 8 місяців тому

      @@kettlebellmusclegain Yes and no, respectively. I just have very small wrists and forearms. Am no weakling, though. I am training with an Eleiko comp bell but i don't like it and besides, i think i've been ripped off since it's a cast bell with no hollow construction. I need to get my hands on some high-quality steel bells with a better handle window and overall balance.
      KK are too expensive though...

    Hi again. I might be able to get some of those Pro Kettlebells over here where i live. The only question remains: will they be worth the investment? Is it the right choice for me and my training needs? Once again: i am not a kettlebell athlete, don't do long cycles, i merely train at home and only the basics (swings, clean and press, Turkish get ups, some squat variations, etc. - still don't know how to snatch...) but i need a kettlebell that won't hurt as bad as my current Eleiko comp bells does in my forearms: i have small wrists and forearms and that thing is just destroying them.
    What do you think?

    Do you still have your studio? I remember doing a training thing with you in Indiana for our Anytime Fitness franchise and all Mike Gelfgot could talk about was how horrible he thought your business model was even though you seemed to be doing quite well. I believe you were making more than him at the time actually.

    FUCK, I'm out of shape after not doing shiz the last couple yrs. I figured I'd do KBOMG1 to get back into KB's before switching to Double precision. 1st complex 20m of 5 snatch/1 getup without putting the bell down. 5 min in with a measly 35# kb, I PUT THE BELL DOWN. Damn!!!

    • @kettlebellmusclegain

      APOLLO. I do not have any Atlas but I am getting a couple as my wife is 5'1 she's very strong but the size of kettlebells make it very hard for her to handle heavier weights so she's stuck with 20 kg and under when the atlases would really help her
