Good advice. Band coverage is the most important thing for me. Many rural areas in a number of European countries including the UK rely quite a bit on band 20 for 4g coverage. In cities and larger towns this will not really be a issue but it can be a big issue depending on where you live. It's frustrating when a phone is stuck on 3g speeds when other locally purchased phones support 4g. Most fully fledged Chinese flagships support band 20 apart from Xiaomi flagships. Most of the midrangers or budget flagships from China don't support band 20. Band 20 is the band with the widest coverage in the UK and in some parts of the UK (especially rural areas) phones without band 20 will drop to 3g. Unfortunately, it's difficult to know if this will be a problem until you actually try a phone without band 20 in the location where you live and compare to one that has it. 5g bands are covered but 5g coverage isn't good in many rural locations in any case.

So I don't drive so no need for android auto.
Telegram and WhatsApp are my main communication forms so good to know about changing the battery settings if I get a Chinese ROM.
I'll have to check with my bank and see if it will play nice with a Vivo phone. It definitely makes me pause knowing that I will not have warranty from the company itself when I purchase. You're correct in having it placed under home insurance, but that is a good point to have in mind.

Hi! I have the honor magic V2 with me since more than 3 weeks. Really happy with it. Is there a work around to get Alexa or Google assistant to work on it? The yoyo Ai is all in Chinese. Also if there is a work around to get samsung and android wear watches to work with. Generally got gspace lifetime activated and all other items work perfect. Great videos as always. I'm interested in the Honor stylus which doesn't seem to be available in the UK. If I purchased it form the US/China or through eBay,

This video is right on time for me! After a year of waiting, I have decided to take the plunge into the world of foldable phones. The Honor Magic V2 is my choice. However, I live here in the United States, and Google services is a concern for me. I just heard that Honor will be releasing an OTA update for native Honor phones at the end of September which will include Google. Do you know if this is true? And if so, would it allow me to obtain legitimate Google services? Thanks for your channel!

Great video very helpful, Having purchased a Vivo x fold 2 and with the help of your channel i've managed to get my head around it !, the only thing i can't fathom is how to add music? when connecting to a computer it's recognised in file manager but individual folders aren't shown as they are with other phones, i've always used the drag n drop method but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to drag them to? any help would be great, Thanks Mike.

Back in the day when i was younger i had a Lg g2 with towelroot.. Loved to tweak everything.. 😊 later a Oneplus 3 with roms.
Now i just want my phones to just work and do stuff out of the box, so i now have a Samsung note 10+ 😊

MY main goal to buy new phone is to use it as second camera to my mirror less camera , specially to record videos. and ofcourse as my daily main phone.
i fall in love with both phones, but i feel Sony has few stuff like slow charging, no ltpo screen, and few other things , that make hesitate. While iam not sure if the xiaomi 13 ultra hasthe same video recording quality as the sony or worse.
What is your recommendation ? or should i go with iphone 13pr /14 pro ? cause many people saying iphone is the king of video ( note, that i hate apple products and didnt try new iphones my self )

I have found a disadvantage of the Wonda e-shop.
I assume they ship the phones from a European warehouse and are only able to issue a receipt for the end price, without a separate VAT amount.
In fact, they already pay the duty and VAT when the goods are transported to the EU warehouse.
An invoice that does not list the VAT is a problem for those of us who want to report the phone purchase as a tax deductible expense and deduct the VAT. That is, those who have LTD or are freelancers with VAT registration.
Since VAT is around 20% of the price of the phone, it would be silly not to deduct it.
Can anyone recommend any other e-shop where they have Honor Magic V2 in stock and are able to issue an invoice with VAT itemized?
Or a shop that doesn't send it from an EU warehouse (where duty and VAT are already included in the price), but directly from China? A shop from where the price is quoted without duty and VAT, which the buyer then has to pay in their home country themselves. Because then it should be possible to present a VAT registration to customs and not pay it.

Yes it does, not on the V2 tho as it does not have GMS
Question: If Wonda mobile already installs the google play store on the phone, would I be able to download and use the Google apps natively or do I need to use gbox or gspace?

yes to bank apps, not google wallet.... you can email Honor for a patch to get Google services which will give you the wallet/

I'm on Verizon. All the Chinese phones seem to be missing band 13 on 4G. Is there a Chinese foldable that actually has band 13? Band 13 is the main Verizon band where I live in the U.S.
Good question and as a fellow Verizon user would love to hear the answer. No 4g is unfortunately a dealbreaker.

Could you share with me if Honor Magic V2 is able to use the 5G network in your country or other places? Currently my location at Singapore. Hi man, thanks for all the effort to help us adventurers and eager mobile addict with all the great foldable options that there are. Maybe someone can help with the following. I have the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 and I am having GPS issues. The GPS Test app does not get a GPS lock when testing GPS. So software like Google Maps or the Chinese Map apps are also not working good. I have done all the obvious things but nothing is helping. I am based in The Netherlands Europe. Thanks for any help!

Reached out to them with several questions but got a vague reply.. asked several questions and got "it will work". ....
On some of their phones it says Chinese Rom. But also that they install an EU Rom before shipping.
Does this entail that I don't have to do anything once it arrives? It will work as any other phone bought in my country (Sweden).
Will it get all security updates, Google play store will work etc.
Another ting that I was wondering about is the security. Have you ever thought about IF they install some spyware or such on the device they are sending out?

Do you worry about privacy whit a fhinese rom phone? Think of a mix fold 3 or fold 5. Just not sure.
i would argue that the Xiaomi is more secure! both on android platform with full privacy features but Xiaomi has thought protection/second space.
If you are thinking of a z fold 5.. i have a new one in ice blue/512GB storage that i will sell for the cost of the mmix fold 3... makes your decision harder lol

Can verify that Wanamobile are reputable and very fast. The Mix Fold 3 rocks. Way better battery life than my Galaxy Z Fold 4.
