Band 20 is the 800mhz which is great for when you are inside and it goes longer distances. Without band 20 you struggle in areas that have less masts in the country side

I travel all over the country as I'm a hgv driver and without band 20 you don't get full coverage. I am waiting for the honour magic fold to go global as it has band 20 hopefully soon.
Yes...if you live in a big city, 0 problems. But when you get out, 3g+ only ... that's why I recommend getting a plan with another carrier for 4g. It's dual sim after all...
If the periscope camera didn't matter to you would you still choose the Xioami or would it be the Honor? Which webbrowser do you use on your smartphones? I very much like the Samsung Internet browser (for me much better than Chrome). A specific functionality that I love into the Samsung browser, is the possibility to view any video fullscreen (from any website), with the possibility to scroll forward or backward by swiping. Can you show extended example in which internal display is used for web browsing? I have noticed that almost no reviewer in their reviews of foldable phones show web browsing. I would like to see comparison between normal phone and foldable phone in that regard. I am curious how well internal screens of foldable phones are optimized to show more text, more content of web pages. I have a feeling there is the same amount of text shown just bigger.

I have been using my Oppo Find X2 Pro for three years now on the Chinese ROM and it looks like 99.9 percent as perfect as our North American phones. The only thing that can't work on it is the Nearby Share. Google assistant can work on it but it can't work through earbuds. And those Chinese ROM phones can get the company support more than the global ones. After three years I still get bi monthly security update, at first I got a security update every month. I even got android 13 .
I was playing PlayStation 5, so I didn't see the debut, but I'll watch it now before bed for goodness knows how many videos I've watched with my Average Dadathon today

@@jchebishev Where did you get it from? There is a difference if you get the phone from Winds who will set it up and install the Play store, but don't accept Google T&Cs in the beginning which is also why you can't install Chrome.

AT&T said the phone doesn't work on their network based on the IEMI but they were wrong. I put in a SIM and it worked just fine. So, then they created me a SIM to use with the Mix Fold 3. Great phone. Only glitches 1. VLC Player doesn't work but the pre-installed app for that does 2. Battle Net would not work until I changed default browser to Firefox 3. Cannot change default search engine to Google as far as I can tell.
Romania here...2 out of 4 network carriers have band 20. Orange and Vodafone. This means that you will get LTE+ or 4g+ only in big cities. When you go to small towns, only 3g+.

I own Honor Magic Vs global. It's major advantage over any Chinese (Xiaomi) phone is 100% notifications from all apps (I have 10+years experience with Xiaomi phones, including Chinese versions). However, the Honor's external screen is not big enough for me - I barely use it. And main camera... I'm not satisfied to be short. So, I personally would rather go with Mix Fold 3 - notifications work at about 90% cases. Plus, having huge experience with many phones - MIUI proposes most functionality! BANANAS 🍌!

I have Google Chrome iastalled fine you only need to go into security and trust agents and enable Google smart lock then installs fine. Using Nova Prime for Launcher no issues. For keyboard Microsoft swift keyboard works best. Phone is perfect I have adjust DPI on both screens now the way I like.

The china rom works perfectly and you can even record all phone conversations natively...meaning u can set it to record in call settings.....Global rom will have restrictions and you cannot record natively.....using playstore apps to record is merely recording from the mike and is not clear

MAJOR PSA if you have GPS reception issues with your Mix Fold 3 - REMOVE the official case included in the box (more specifically the back side with the kickstand) or at least open the kickstand. I have a *gold* Mix Fold 3 and I was at my wits end with zero GPS reception, until I found this. GPS signal reception skyrocketed (going from zero to 50+ satellites) the instant I removed the back case.
Well this will be banana's if I can't get this phone to work in my area Average Dad. I enjoy your content and I can't wait for my time to get this phone.

Hey, band 20 is an issue for some networks on 4G (not all). i personally use 5G and WiFI so o have never had an issue!

because there is no need! web browsing is optimised to fit any display size so it works just like a tablet.

Not that i know of mate. Security is awesome! dedicated second space, virus scans daily and on all downloads. tracking alerts and more

Previously I think he said location history did work, so maybe you have some settings wrong?

Not if you change the battery settings and permissions. mine has been working perfectly other than Google messages so i use the native message app!

MAJOR PSA if you have GPS reception issues with your Mix Fold 3 - REMOVE the official case included in the box (more specifically the back side with the kickstand) or at least open the kickstand. I have a *gold* Mix Fold 3 and I was at my wits end with zero GPS reception, until I found this. GPS signal reception skyrocketed (going from zero to 50+ satellites) the instant I removed the back case.
