I always loved the single seater cars in gt. I like the generic gt versions you can slap your favorite livery on. They should do a one of every era of f1. v6t, v12, v10, v8, v6hybrid as an addition to licenced cars in gt7.
Hear me out, I got Some Predictions I don't think they are gonna add a 2010's-2020's F1 car, too recent Cars and the F1 teams are not gonna let them Get those For the 00's F1 Cars, However, Something could be done since Kaz introduced the Ferrari F2007 and the F60 in GT5 and Maybe he could Get an agreement with Maranello. So Maybe either the F2007 or the F60 since It seems Kaz has by now choosen Cars that were used by Brazilian Drivers (Both the F1500T-A and the F3500-A Are inspired by Senna's F1 cars) For the 70's car... Either a Lotus 72 Looking car with a Cosworth DFV (Since It was drove by Emerson Fittipaldi and by following the Logic of the Brasilian driver, Maybe it's a solution) or even the Fittipaldi FD01 which looks like the Ferrari 312T
@@Cmin_Zaps It's clear there's a Senna bias when it comes to F1 cars in GT, either with or without license, but I wouldn't say Brazilian bias. It may come down to Kaz's own preferences when it comes to the F1 driver, or the history of the F1 car itself (like the RA272 being Honda's first winning F1 car), in which context the GT game is out, or a mix of them, though it's only guess work. I wouldn't rule out recent F1 cars, we've had the W08 in GT Sport only one year after its IRL use back in 2018, even if it may be less likely. To enter even further into speculations, if GT do have some ties with Red Bull, instead of the F2007/F10, we could get the 2008 Toro Rosso STR3 (first RB branded winning F1 car and shown at the Red Bull Hangar-7 where they held World Tours) and Red Bull RB6, their first championship winning car, both of them under two different F1 aero regulations. But in all honesty, it's really hard to give decent predictions without falling into copium/hopium, so let's wait & see what they're brining 😄
@Jomas its definitely possible, just max the downforce and set the transmission, after that its a matter of confidence and reaction time. Theres a few corners while having max downforce you don't need to break
The F094/S is different even is aspect from the F094/H both from GT3. Polyphony made a superb job of copying the Williams FW16 from before and after regulation changes from 94. The H version has shorter sidepods, a smaller diffuser, different front wing endplates and bardgeboards. Great job Polyphony for that.
The F094/H also has more understeer than the F094/S, so you can't take corners as fast as the S. Sadly, it's difficult to determine if the real life FW16B was faster than the original FW16, so we may never know if the GT3 versions are loosely accurate to their real life counterparts.
@X2011racer good observation. It is actually very easy to determine if the FW16B had less grip: because of the tragic accidents FIA cut about 15%of downforce with smaller diffuser, front wing endplates and the 1cm plank underneeth the car. So you spotted it well: te H variant haa to be slower
Great video Jomas! Loved the presentation, great choice of music and clear info. Would have liked to see some gameplay of the older cars and possibly some info on the colours chosen, but definitely keeping my eyes peeled for more vides like this :)
@@AfraidRacer Hey! Been a while since I saw you :D I thought of adding some gameplay, but I didn't want to drag the video longer than it is already, as I couldn't get all the gameplay I wanted too 😅 for the colours, it is a bit of the same, so I went with what I had with a note on screen about the liveries
The most interesting part of vintage Formula 1 cars in GT7 is the 1955 Mercedes-Benz W 196 R is also driven by Stirling Moss during the 1955 Formula 1 British Grand Prix at the time.
The shape of the front wing, nose cone (up to the cockpit) and the sidepods really suggest it's based on the 1991 Williams (and I wouldn't discount the 1992 too) while taking liberties, the engine is closer to Minardi's though as it's a V12 but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a fictional one too like they've done with the F1500T-A, called "V6-F1500T-A" despite being well inspired of the Renault V6 of the time.
@Jomas It's definitely an amalgamation of the F09X series of cars from GT3, with the wings from the F094/H, the body style of the F094/S, and the camera pod from the F090/S. What the F3500-A doesn't inherit is the V10 engine, instead, it's a V12.
I’m only slightly obsessed with early ’90s F1 cars 😅 So I’m extremely excited for the F3500-A! Anyway, awesome video! Wouldn’t mind seeing you make more 😎
So am I! I can't wait for the F3500-A's release even if I can't deny a mid 2000s F1 would be my top preference 😄 and for more... Let's see what the future holds! But I really appreciate it ❤
I wonder if we will get a modern F1 car in GT7 or even gran Turismo branded version of the current or even 2026 regs. Not to mention having an Indy car in the game would very cool especially if they bring back Indianapolis with it as well. If we get a modern F1 car in the game I think the best choice will have to be either the Mercedes W11 or Redbull RB19. I would also love for them to bring back the early 2000s formula gt car.
I hope Formula E Gen 3 cars will be added for a new update in Gran Turismo 7, especially since there’s really isn’t not that much electric race cars besides just the Volkswagen ID.R and the Vision GT race cars in Gran Turismo 7, along with other fictional street circuits as well.😔
Not my cup of tea but I can see the appeal! Though, more street circuit would be welcomed, and different from the super high speed ones we have right now 😅
@@JomasBut I wish fictional street circuits returns to Gran Turismo 7, especially it would be great welcome with Gen 3 cars for a nostalgic throwback and PSVR2 Formula E racing experience, since there’s no other PS5 racing games that supports the PSVR2 headset.😔
@@EagleFntm Tokyo R246, Special Stage Route 5 & 11 instantly comes to mind, even Côte d'Azur even if it's a thin line between fictional and real... But it takes so much time to make city tracks that I don't think we'll see that many sadly
It doesn't seem to me when I tried it recently, unless you mean the wheel's force feedback and yes it is really low on Formula Cars for unknown reasons 😅

I fully agree, so we have much choice in what F1/Formula Car we can have fun with! My personal favourite would be a mid 2000s V10 F1 car 🔥
@ a 2000’s v10 would be awesome, sound and weight wise 😁
@@NickEckhardtNL Yeah! Awesome sound, light with enough downforce and good straight line speed :D
@@Jomas That's what the Formula Gran Turismo is, isn't it?
We have 50s (the merc), 60s (the Honda), 80s (sennas car and F1500) soon 90s (the not yet added one). Now we need 70s,00s,10s and 20s
Clearly! At least one per decade would be great!

In GT3 the Polyphony 001 is based on 1995 Williams FW17
Which is why I also added the FW17 picture when talking about it 👀
The F3500-A is the F1 1992 Minardi M191B with Lamborghini V12 they went for in GT7.

PD could bring some open-wheel car for beginners, like the Dallara F3 (F317)
There's so many that would be nice to have, especially some between the RB Junior and F1 cars to have a mid-speed Formula Car
