I really like how your style of commentary isn't giving away what's gonna happen in the race. It's almost like you don't know yourself what's gonna happen.
It's not his style, there's a hypnotist living in his house without his knowledge, every time he bumps into this hypnotist he gets his memory blanked. He truly has no idea how any of these races went.
He probably records gameplay in longer single sessions but breaks up the recordings into multiple, then after playing goes back through and commentates each video.
That reverse launch absolutely killed me. It reminded me of a certain VW Golf on a drag race, where the driver launched on Reverse and crashed into the car behind it 😂😂

@@MrPorsche91730 it's never been an issue on any other license test or circuit experience for me. The only other vehicle that's had a similar proem was the McClarenF1 GTR on spa. It sits too low and the tires rub to the fenders going into Eau Rouge
@Kill Bill it was on a circuit experience, you can't adjust anything, like the license tests. That's why I was frustrated. Also the McLarwn F1 GTR was doing it on a daily race with BoP active so it made the car unusable for the week.

It was a good tactic imo, its the last lap and you're already ahead of others by more than 3 seconds so might as well try a push and since the race would be over a time penalty does not hurt as much since it would be added to your time without you having to slow down in the middle of the race which hurts a lot more

I feel for ya Steve. Its typical unfortunately over in the American servers, the Brazilians seem to have no problem using other people's cars to slow themselves down in the corners, and don't get me started about turning on the straights.
Yeah the brazillians have the worst sportsmanship. I remember I kept going head to head in GT Sport for the AE86 Tsukuba daily race with a brazillian over the span of 4 races and he was fast but not faster than me. He just kept cheating lol. One race he tried to do a risky ram and it cost him last place.
It's funny how I first watched this vid a few weeks ago, then later watched StanceWorks' vid about the Pikes Peak 911, and only now that I'm rewatching this the dots connected as Willow Springs features in both. It's pretty fun to see the in-game version and the real one from very different angles.
My low-key issue with stick-shift cars like this one while using the paddles is the "shift shock." It sometimes off-balances the cars during mid-corner. Anyhow, always love your commentary while playing. Definitive work of art, same with the driving!
I live 30 minutes away from Willow Springs. We are the High Desert of California, Antelope Valley. It’s a fun track, but there are a lot of restrictions. Have to have roll bar, five point harness, etc. I think they just want you to rent their cars, insurance, etc.our days are around 105 degrees Fahrenheit now. Good race.
Have never played GT because I’m Xbox but even so I love watching these vids as soon as they come out. So funny and u really are a great entertainer Steve 👍
It's probably just me, but I absolutely LOATHE this track. It's only wide enough to be a fun Go-Kart track. GT7 should release about 30 more new tracks and make the game irresistible.
I love this track only because I've driven it IRL, I agree about the track width though. I don't think much wheel to wheel racing is done there due to it's track width.

The ever lovely Streets of Willow! There is no sand around that track - it's just dry dirt and rocks. Raced there many times in real life. They got the skid pad portion of the track wrong. It has the most bumps of any spot on the track!

Great video's. Far cry from the first GT. We had a little wheel thing on a controller. And then the Mad Cats Wheel to play Nascar 1996 for PS. I think about 2000 got the Microsoft For Motor City -Awesome, I got the G29 late in 2000, Was a Pre-Order for the First Fanatec wheel, Still Have. Just started playing again and Upgrading wheel, Had the V.2 Pedals and 7 speed so just getting the New wheel. Saw your 27hr, we did the 24 hrs Lemans without stopping. 12hrs at Sebring. Not fun, Also rained. Long races are killers. ^0yrs old and Love Driving the video games. You call them sims, Just a fun game. Great Stuff always will watch.
I can relate to the frenchman. Its quali pace vs race pace. Race craft and being able to drive clean and fast around other cars are just completely different skills
I was running similar times to you on this track last night so I was grouped with around the same level drivers... I could not believe the carnage. People give literally zero room at the beginning and are just punting people off in the beginning. I don't get why people can't just run clean.
Since my stroke in Nov I've lost so much speed. So nowdays I just let people pass/through, keeping myself on track just to regain the position once they decide to try racing off of the track, at a later moment. 😎👍
fwd car set brake balance high in the rear. apply brake and featber throttle in corners to turn alot faster.. not in a rwd but 4wd and fwd.. keep throttle up dor boost too. very easy to over brake doing thay and slide forward though (no assists)

The technique is called left foot braking. While under a heavy load you keep your left foot on the brake giving you a sharper turn. It's common to use in a FF

Another great tip is turn the wheel to the right in right hand corners...once you get that right I'll tell you what to do in lefthand corners!

If the Nürburgring Daily last week has taught me anything, it's that in GT7, if you are a clean racer, you are at the mercy of the people around you.
That first race was for everyone that's been unjustly forced off track.
Pro tip. If you are 10 seconds clear of the rammers, the harder it is for them to ruin your race

The circuit experience in the Gr 4 mustang for this track was infuriating. Everytime I would brake the mustang would refuse to steer at all
