What did you see wrong with the impeller housing ? Where did the big round o ring go ? Thanks
I'm pretty sure it goes underneath The lower portion of the Impeller housing. Wish you would have said that. However it's not needed for just doing the upper replacement
You were trying to fit the impeller backwards. the slot only goes one way, it's foolproof

How do you remove the old water pump base? Mine is corroded and needs replacing. What the trick?

I bought it on a local store.
Why didn’t you put any green gaskets
If you look closer, the gaskets on this set are gray, and they are installed.

@@GPDIY I noticed same thing in my kit. There is a 3rd gasket. No idea where it goes and I seen in the layout your kit. Is it extra?
There was another layer that came apart, thats wherr the extra gaskets go I suppose.
Im skipping that step also, I dont see it necessary it should still seal if the seat does move during dis assemble
