Congrats on the 100k guys and Mr Hewes deserves an extra pat on the back for helping out the less fortunate and mentally challenged, I hope Jack appreciates it.
There is something so pure and wholesome about these videos in these days of narcissistic influencers and mindless trends, you guys and girls totally deserve the 100k and many more
That’s because they are Englands best this is what we have to offer down to earth mechs I wish them all the best and im going to keep watching with out my ad blocker on to boost there channel
Agree on the safety concerns with that Jeep, a child seat for Jack is a must
Don’t forget Fitter Matt, who brought a lot of us to your channel.
I'm here because of Matt.
@@MrRicharseMe too.
What happened to Fitter Matt? not seen him in a video for a long time.
Fitter mat should be helping but he’s busy in Scotland still 🥲
Who? 😂😂
So glad you got over 100,000 subscribers, you deserve it because this is an awesome channel and I can't stop watching.
Thanks again guys!
Congratulations on the 100k, nothing better than people having fun doing what they love.
Can’t believe you had to Aquablast that entire rear deck by yourself. Shocking. Also, I’ve spotted something on that Jeep. You might not notice them, but there are a couple of dots of corrosion beginning to peek through the paintwork here and there.
Congratulations on most deserved 100K subs from an old vet from Norway
Ted is looking well, you reckon?
Massive congrats on one of the most deserved 100K subs on yt!
I used to work for a company that made industrial fans ranging from fans for use in tanks, industrial, nuclear and even for organ blowing (the church variety). We used to have a machine that you bolted the fan onto and then spun it up to its operating speed. A display screen would then tell you where and how much to put onto the fan in order to dynamically balance it. It could also tell you if the weight had to be put onto back plate or the fan cover plate!
Thoroughly deserved.
I’m glad Jack opted for the ceramic coating on his jeep, it really makes a difference on the school run…
I had a CJ6 once, I restored it and it immediately threw a piston through the side of the block. I was in Germany at the time and stuck it in a friends barn. I looked at many different replacement engine options and then decided to get the block repaired. Now in the past I had a bad habit of abandoning vehicles, and I guess the CJ6 is still out there somewhere Germany. I did a similar thing about 30 odd years ago with an Austin Champ - Rolls Royce engine and went just as fast in reverse as forwards (I think they developed it for the Italian Army) . I bought a restored Champ up near Doncaster, decided to leave my car somewhere up there and drive the Champ back overnight to Cambridge. Not far down the road the clutch gave up and I managed to get it to a well known ex military vehicle dealer, then spent the night hitch hiking back to get my car (actually got to spend the night sleeping in a paper mill and playing Snooker with the workers!). I abandoned the Champ too as I had to go off to some country to do filming (I'm ex BBC TV Producer) It may still be up there in Yorkshire, I never went back. I also had a Steyer Puch Haflinger - no idea where that is. Technically I owned half of a series one-and-a half flat floor E-Type but I did abandon that to my dear friend Dave who owned the other half! I converted one of my Range Rovers to Diesel, it was a terrible conversion, cost me a fortune, but I don't think I was ever able to sell it, so where is it?? There are more, but I honestly can't remember them.
Glad to see you got the Aquablaster it was money well spent 👍 even cowboys know a good thing when they see it. Now get that T34-85 working i want to see it on August 6th on my 21st birthday 😉. Take care guys and keep up the good work.
Did they buy it or have they 'still got' it as I heard? Hope they have bought it as it must save hours and hours.
@@ekspatriat I'm guessing a lend-lease prior to possible purchase
FINALY able to understand what you are saying, about time for the mic upgrade!
Edit: Also the professional placement of the audio equipment is just superb
The poor Fastrack 🔥rip, eleven months later and over another 140k subs wow, but to be fair it is a superb channel, mainly for the lack of BS and you guys being so down to earth 🏴👍🏻
Tony's CJ5, fond memories. Weavers down boxing day trial circa 1988.....
My long lost mate had one of those Jeeps, he never stopped banging on about how it was so much better than my Lightweight.
He once farted in bed so terribly that the smell actually made his missis throw up, but I don't know if that was caused by Jeep ownership or him liking his ale a bit too much.
Balancing - get a shaft turned up that's a nice running fit in the splines of the flywheel and balance it all between two trestles, resting on knife edges. You can add four small-ish bearings to the knife edge arrangement to make sure it's spinning freely. Then just level the whole lot, spin it and mark the low spot. You know the score after that I'm sure.
100k Subs & real companies who want to work with them .. man this channel is going places .. good on you guys & girls
Thank you for awesome original content.
Maybe you could take the fan to a tire shop,i used to work in one and i think that you could fit the fan on a device for balancing truck wheels.
Might be worth a shot
I miss fitter Matt but still awesome channel. Its the attitude that makes it
Love the videos, it would be cool to get to know the rest of the team as well.
Another fun day in the yard. I think Jack needs more camera training. Although his blatant disregard is amusing. 😅
100k is a great milestone for you and everyone connected to the channel. Nicely done and earned. ❤😊❤😊
Congratulations!! 👏🏻🎉👍
Mic bit gave me a chuckle
You can balance that fan/flywheel yourself fairly easily. you'll need to find or make something that'll fit inside those splines that you can pass a smallish shaft through, and the just set it up on a couple of rails so that it can roll freely, then use that to find the heavy spot. a spirit-level will get you close enough, and you can always double-check by flipping the fan around and trying it the other way, as long as the rails are sturdy enough not to flex too much and are actually parallel, you'll be able to get it pretty well balanced. a quick look at how grinding wheels and plane props are balanced should give you the general idea, it doesn't need to be complicated.
Congrats on the 100k, it's well deserved.
Congratulations 🎉
That AQUABLASTER 🎉
Congrats guys, absolutely well deserved and on to the next 100k.
Hi, looking in from North Yorkshire, England.
Thanks for your most informative video.
woot! i think that was me. i was watching the other day saw you had 99.9k subs. so i hit the button and the bell. when i watched the next video, i saw you were at 100k. congrats to you, and a self pat on the back for making my 0.001% contribution :D
Congrats on the subs👍 this brings back some memories! My first car at 17 (many years ago) was a 4.2l CJ7 😊
Hi Joe we you need a big Lathe in an engineering machine shop; you need the kind of setup they use for balancing industrial fans.
In this age of fakeness people enjoy honest content like this.
I think that sand blaster dose a wicked job of bringing it back to metal
It's amazing how your audio sounds exactly like it's coming through those microphones ;)
I'd love to see a "sympathetic" restoration done on that Jeep ... cracking little runaround if sorted out ... doesnt want to be shiny, but needs some love thats for sure. Congrats on the 100k subscribers, always loved this stuff. Mate of mine up in Blidworth had an Alvis Stalwart a and a tank recovery vehicle, always liked this stuff.
A bit quieter than the needle gun. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉on the 100 thousand followers
CONGRATULATIONS THE 10K GUYS .. YOU CLEARLY DESERVE IT !!!
Congratulations. ‘Tonka toys’ skill, hard work, improvision and problem solving all with a touch of humour. What’s not to like. Roll on quarter million.

You and the team deserve all the credit you get on saying that let’s get to 200k! The jeep is class
Watched many hours of your channel. And I think this is the first time I’ve seen a ratchet used. I feel the adjustable spanner should be mandatory
Congrats, you deserve the 100K and much more! Great videos from a smashing crew!
congrats on the 100k well deserved love your channel
Another great video Joe, congratulations on the 100k subscribers.
In the 1970's I was involved with organising the International Air Fair at Biggin Hill in Kent. The local Jeep agent offered us the use of a new CJ 5 for ten days (for publicity purposes). So naturally that was my daily transport for the Air Show. What a thing that was. She would do 100 mph on the road, as long as it was straight and bumpless. Any slight bump and she would sponge and wollow across all over the place. Exciting!
Congrats on the 100k, well deserved for the very entertaining content you guys make. Keep up the good work :)
Congratulations on getting plenty of us, enjoying your crazy antics ❤
Congrats guys and gals keep up the great work.
That jeep looks sooo much fun!
Excellent video, Jack looked well pleased with the jeep.

Jack reminded me of the Packleds in Star Trek when they ssy "Make it go", so technical 😂.

Congratulations on 100k onwards and upwards 🎉🎉
100k is a huge milestone!
Great show .
Many years ago whilst serving my apprenticeship as a toolmaker I was given a job to fettle some welding. Close to our toolroom was an auto engineering company, run by an old gent who raced cars at Brooklands and he was a wizard restoring old castings. In this particular instance, the oil shield on a very old motorcycle had broken and Charlie had welded back and forth almost like continuously casting an area 5 inches square and no more than 3/8'' thick and curved. My job was to smooth the welding out and polish it. By the time we finished the repair was almost invisible. He would have sorted your sump out for you.
You have a unique skill that is to be admired. Your problem-solving skills are not available to everyone. That is what you should be proud to have. I enjoy when you show Ted. He reminds me of dogs that I have had over my life Please show more of him.
Friend of mine had a new Jeep CJ5 just like that one way back in 1976. Great for 4x4ing! Hope Jack polishes it up a bit🙂
Congratulations🎉
The best thing about that Jeep is the All wheel drive club badge on the front grill
jeep straight 6. Utter legend of a unit.
Very cool lads, It's no surprise to me you got to 100k so quick, you make very interesting content.
Bubble balance the fan like old school wheel balancing. Hang it with a cone shaped device keeping the rope centered. That can also let you see if its warped or out of round it you rotate it slowly.
Keep it up 👍🏼
Always a good watch 🏴☠️✌🏼
Well done guys!
Congrats on the subs! No surprise really, 250k by next year I reckon. And thanks for spreading the knowledge about adjustable hammers. I use it for nearly every job now.... Nuts, screws, grinding, painting, doing the dishes etc.
I'm going to get one of those aquablasters, fantastic - Now, shopping list - I massive tractor, 1 massive compressor, 1 massive water blaster and a quarry. Mmm, wheres me Nitromors....
100k baby
Well done one on the 100k, well deserved on the wicked content.
The 4,5,6 cylinder Jeep looks like a hoot!
Fun way to celebrate 100,000.
Congrats!
