I always took the meaning of the world ending as in donnies world ending, his mom, younger sister,girlfriend and sisters boyfriend all dying and Donnie going to prison for the murder of frank, donnie by sacrificing himself stops any of that happening.
In the last two years in this order I lost my mother an uncle my grandmother another uncle my father and then my dog I'm only 30 in all that death and grief are something unquantifiable it's something that you can't believe or understand o these people I love are just gone it's that's hard to believe o there gone I'll never hug them or tell them I love them again I've screamed and the sky asking why with no answers sry I'll quit love you guys
