Dont forget.. this is not meant to be an normal powerfilter.. u can make it COLD RAM-AIR with this. Modrn cars usually have well tought out air duct system. To really benefit from this set u gotta be able to install it in a way to get COLD air in, in the shortest way.. like from front grill. Thats were u get the benefits.
Dont forget.. to really benefit from any powerfilter u probebly have to make the changes in your ecu.

That fan is comical...and the filter sucks..the best part looks to be the clamp and fake carbon filter housing..
This looks like a fake bmc kit to me, as ive had a bmc, they dont come with that useless fan, thinking about it ive just ordered a new one and even that one doesn't show a silly fan.
Edit, just recieved it, the piping isnt cheap plastic, the filter element is way better, and yep no restrictive fan in it :P...Needs a reducer to fit my car though lol.
Couple questions, i ordered this filter. People say the flex tube is not smart since it can get sucked in the throttle body due to vacuum, also the inside of the flexpipe is nog smooth and can distorb the air.

No, this is very small for your big engine..
Get a big K&N filter and fabricate a tin can as cover

So after inspecting. Was this worth buying? I just ordered one. I really only needed the filter because it is enclosed away from heat. Didnt want to but a metal beat shield. Also i like the metal clamp to hooldnthe filter. I already had an intake system just need that filter
Filter size could have been bigger!!
Is this intake worth it? I want to customize it a little bit for vacuum lines and PCV system. It involves a little bit of drilling.

The funny thing about this piece of crap I already gave away to someone with a Honda. I got a BMW 740il when I put it on the right way it holds the gas pedal down like it's not getting enough air, I flip it around and everything work fine, with the cone facing the engine.
Maybe this filter is just too small and restrictive for what your intake needs.
