If this guy is really interested, send it to Master Gunsmith, Doug Turnburn, in Upstate New York. Doug and his dad, Nelson are good friends. Look him up on the web. This guy can turn what looks like a lost cause into a wonderful work of art. He's not cheap, but if you love and value your guns, the way that I do, cost is not a factor when I want primo work performed! Doug, is the man!

I just got a bit better than that one here in England for £250.The carbine is harder to find than the rifle.I have only seen 2 carbines in over 15yrs of collecting.We get some rifles in .43 Egypt.that have come back from old wars.
