- I've ridden the new Triumph Speed RR on the road and was impressed but wondered how that new riding position would work out on the track..
Well I was lucky enough to be invited to a media day at Cadwell Park (Again) where I had unlimited use of the Triumph Speed RR on track! It was an incredible day & I met some fantastic people but how was the bike??

Great video. Get a decent exhaust on the loan bike. That stock exhaust is stifling the lovely triple sound!

Nice vid & looks like a great day. Bike also seems great too but I guess we're still not really any nearer to figuring out who exactly buys one of these & why. I can totally see appeal but it operates in an odd part of the market as it's not really one thing or the other & is also expensive too.

That track is beautiful and I think would be a hoot to ride. Need to come over from the colonies and give it a try👍. Won’t be keeping up with Chopsie though🙁
Nice video, good to see you leave the music off from the track sections for a change, with a little play in the equaliser in your editing software you can reduce it quite effectively. I use Davinci Resolve, the best professional free software out there, and well worth buying the studio version for hardware acceleration and the extra plugins, lifetime product key too, no purchasing every update, and no subscriptions.
As Spike Milligan ranted on The Life of Brian , "You lucky lucky bastard !" . I'm jealous !
Open pit lane, new bike launch... the things that dreams are made of for a small time You Tuber 😁 This bike is clearly going to be a better option for going fast at the track than the RS despite the RR being advertised as more of a road bike of the two... Triumph did mess up the marketing messages on these two bikes I think. However there's no denying how good they are!

Try Mallory first, shorter track, more bends, not as high speed.
"Give me this any day of the week" classic lines on a great looking bike.
So Chops, which do you think is faster around a circuit like this, this Triple RR or the Gen3 Super Duke?

Way quicker than me! Absolutely track lap record is held by Peter Hickman and its a 1:26 I can't even imagine how he's 25 seconds quicker! 🤯

Well I was 6 seconds quicker on my best lap on the RR! but knew the track better and no traffic so hard to say... both incredible but RR probably slighter faster due to the riding position
Great video. What a privilege Chops, that would be a dream day for me. Track pretty much to yourself, someone else's top grade bike, and the freedom to do as many or few laps as you want at a time. Was looking at this bike on the Triumph stand at the ABR festival over the weekend, looked great. Only thing is, a Tuono Factory is the same price, and that fits me like a glove. Which would you prefer?
It was an incredible day! Tuono is fantastic and similar price and spec. This is a more sporty position the Tuono is more upright and probably more like the RS version than the RR 👍
Nothing wrong with a wheelie just dab the back brake . Get TMF to do a couple of track days. Then come over to Northern Ireland and see the Armoy Road races i can put you Richy Tea pot one TMF and User name Kate up etc up for free lol .....:)
